I liked SavvyCitizen when I got notice of it from my towns email I downloaded it immediately, loved knowing what was going on in my neighborhood, especially today, then I did the update and now there is nothing, just a blank screen. So just another app on my screen until they fix it

I keep getting notifications and yet there is nothing there. I was told it was because of using iOs (???!). Am I supposed to turn off my phone notifications?
I no longer check the notifications because of the lack of any thing there, so what is the point of having it?

Installed app four weeks ago and it worked for a week or two. Then (presumably after update) application shows noting in Events / Notifications / Communities. Apple push notifications still work and take you to SavvyCitizen , but nothing shows once you in SavvyCitizen

I have received several notifications for various meetings in Forest Hills well after the meetings have begun. Can this be corrected?

The biggest feature request I have is some kind of “import event to calendar” feature. On the whole I’ve found SavvyCitizen useful for knowing what kinds of things are going on in the community! The UI could also be made a bit more modern/cleaner but that doesn’t really impede functionality.

Perfect app to keep you informed of what is going on in your own neighborhood and those near you whether it is an event, or road closing or lost dogs!

As a local resident, I feel it’s important to be kept abreast of all the changes and events that are occurring in my community. SavvyCitizen is excellent for that. It lets me know where road construction is going to be, police incident, public, utility outages, and all the other important things that we need to know on a timely basis.

I appreciate having access to important alerts for the township!

It nice to know about things going on in the local are that can’t be advertised in the local paper or on the local radio station. Know before you leave home or day before is such a good help.

I love SavvyCitizen I can be informed about what is coming up in my community and others as well. That way I can get involved or have my neighbor take their children to events.

Savvy Citizen is a helpful way to stay informed on local government matters. It’s also very helpful to receive alerts about weather and other essential matters.
