Call Guardian for US Cellular Reviews

Call Guardian SUCKS ! You pay way to much to have a cell phone and US Cellular should already be stopping these calls. There is no reason, with today's technology that this can not be stopped.

My guardian app is stuck at Add a cell phone 6 digit code gets an error message trying to download app

Had the basic llan over 6 months when my provider sent info with my monthly billing. There were no i structio s how to use it. Starting Jan 1st. 2023 thru the end of that month I recieved 113 spam calls and called customer service that told me that they have a premium version that does more. I asked why would I pay $3.99/mo if the basic does nothing. After trying to get the basic plan to work with the asstance of customer service they offer a few month of the premium at no extra cost so I said ok. The scam calls continued only to increase in the number I was recieving every day. I had logged each and every call I receieved since Jan 1 with phone number, time it came in and than goggled the number to see where it was coming from and then went into my phone setting and blocked it, this was something I thought this app would do but without any instruction on how to use it thinking, is there something I'm to be doing on my part so I call customer service to ask and they had no knowledge what to do. I mention I got a verication code that was text to me that won't that but say it was invalid and I did it a dozen times with the same results. Customer Service suggested to hang up and turn my phone off for a few minutes and turn it back on and they will call me back wirhin 5 minutes. Did that and tried entering the texted code and again it won't take it and state it was invalid so we try requesting a new code again and again and each time it didn't work. She recommended that we delete the app and download it again. Again I toggled back and forth we see it a new verication code would be text yo me and after a domenica trys and no new code and being on the phone well over an hour I was exhausted and told customer service I give up. I waited 4 hours and couldn't sleep so shortly after midnight I check my texts and there were the domenica texts with the code I couldn't get earlier so I put the most recent one and it finally took. Thought the problem was solved until 7:30am the scam calls started coming in again and by noon I had received 8 so I called customer service again and ask, now what. Thinking is there something more I am to do to make it work and if course customer service didn't have an answer. So I just went back to doing the old fashion way if blocking my scam calls thru the phones setting. Still confuse how this app was to work I hit the app icon and it open up the page that had the recent blocked calls I got that day with the various options. Now I by accident discovery hiw possibly this app may work. As of today, Feb 24th I have recieved 359 spam/robo/nuisence calls and I thought once I started esteri g some of them the calls would be less and less but only I recieve more and can't find where to enter all the calls that started on Jan 1st until the app took my reported ones but now from a previous date. Those have all been prevoisly manualy blocked thru my phone settings one by one. This app is basicly useless and a piece a garage to me. I will use it during my free usage time that customer service offered me and then it will be deleted. There is no insurance I could find how the consumer is to use it and customer service that promote it has no understanding how it works. With all the time it took for me to get it somewhat doing what I can do manually is just plain stupid. I am not a paid employee that earn money trying to get you app work. Lack of instruction from both phone provider customer and service and nothing posted on the internet that I could find dies say much about your app and your company. The experience I had was a nightmare to say the less.

Installed the basic plan after the information came eith my monthly cellphone bill approx 6 months ago, it rarely ever worked. After the beginning of 2023 the robo calls excellated to 113 in Jan and than starting Feb 2023 they were coming from 11 to 16 per day a day and I contacted my cell phone provider customer service. They recommened I change it to the Premium plan. Being on a fixed income I just can't afford to add one more expense to my budget. Thankful they wirked out a plan to help me out and I thought I now had the Premium plan. Next day the calls were coming in just like before so I called customer service again. We work on it for over an hour and when we got to the verificazione screen we again sent in for a verication code and waited and waited and nothing arrivederci so I was instruction toturn my phone off for a few minutes and turn it back on and she called me back. Had the same issue that it would not take the verifation code sent so she instructed me to un'installazione the app and reenter it. Did that and it still won't accept the code and after a number time of requesti g to get a new code text, no textes were recieved. So I hang up and was very displasia with this app. Five hours later shortly after midnight I checked my textes and finally I finally got eight texted with a new valifcation code. I put in the latest and it finally worked. At least I thought u til the next day the robo calls once again started coming in. Called customer service again and they couldn't explain was it wasn't working. I then dawn on me, was I do manually be doing something, she couldn't answer. I tried a few things I it appears ""I" have to enter the robo calls in manually myself..I think. No one can get me instruction how it works and what or if I have to do something from my end. I now have over 200 robo and they keep growing and I still can't get answer anywhere how this should be working for me. Customer service...no help. Internet can't find any answer and after soending hours and hours I found this on the internet and put my two cents in and review my experience that was a nightmare. You don't have to ask what I think of this app, you can guess I don't like it and lable it lacking in instructon on how to use it, your provider that recommend it haven't been educated on it and the customers hate it.

I do not recommend this app!!! It won't recognize my new phone. In other words it won't transfer the app permissions to use on my new phone. After 3 attempt's to get us cellular to help they finally blocked it and payment, but no one could get the program to transfer to my new phone. I had them block my wife's phone as well to avoid future issues, of getting something done!

This app only works bout 1/2 of the time, and usually AFTER i have picked it up, found out is was some scammer, and hung up. I have let it ring for up to 4 rings and this still happens, then just now it let me know after 2 rings. I wonder if more people have reported this number, hence a quicker notification by Call Guardian.

Call Guardian works well on my Galaxy S21 but is useless on my IPhone 13...It don't tell risk of the incoming call, block high risk calls or list the numbers who called my phone.

I do not want to have this on my phone number and never asked for it....is this account being charged for it???? I've only had my phone with us cellular since November 2021???
