This is the worst banking app I've ever used. The app is the sole reason why I am thinking of changing the bank. It’s slow, ui is a mess. You need to logout manually, if you don’t log out and close the app, it keeps the session and if you keep doing this the id gets blocked.
The ui doesn’t make any sense, styling is non existance, any 12 yo with 6 months internship training can build a better app than this.
The security is a joke, you can read inbox messages without even logging in.
take inspiration from other standard Chartered banking apps, look at their Pakistan version.
Whoever is in charge of developing this app should rethink his or her career.

I don’t understand how they call themselves a multinational bank yet offer such a low-quality app that completely lacks user-friendliness. It’s clear they didn’t even conduct a proper competitor analysis before launching. The interface is outdated, navigation is frustrating, and essential features are either missing or poorly designed.
If you don’t already have a connection with SCB in Bangladesh, don’t bother opening an account here—you’ll face unnecessary hurdles. A bank of this scale should prioritize digital experience, but unfortunately, this app fails to meet even basic expectations.

The Standard Chartered Bank mobile application is a complete disappointment. The user interface is clunky and unintuitive, making it difficult to navigate through the different functions. The app is also slow, which can be frustrating when you're trying to make a transaction or check your account balance. The customer service is not helpful, and it takes forever to get a response from them. Overall, I would not recommend using the Standard Chartered Bank app. It's a waste of time and can cause unnecessary stress.
