I had excellent tours in Spain and Portugal, except for Toledo with VPT. Bordeaux tours were hit and miss. UK tours were excellent also, especially with Rabbie’s.

One tour in Amsterdam, last tour mind you, awful. When I arrived, Carlos, the guide told me, not asked me, that I’m doing the tour in Spanish. I paid for a tour in English. I’m doing the English tour.

And this bus is crammed with people. The seats are uncomfortable. I thorough you were a reputable company. Naturanda in Seville was great. Julia in Madrid too. More quality control is needed.

After 40 minutes of waiting we gave up. Thanks for ruining a day of my family’s vacation. The contact number you provided didn’t work either. I called the tour company directly after googling their number and it’s outside of their business hours.

Overall, horrible experience.

We had a “free” walking tour to Toledo and we were exactly 2 min past the time… we told the guide when we were literally 200 m from the expected location and we were never able to see him/ her. The plaza was full with all the groups but not ours. Obviously that was not the best experience

We scheduled a trip to GIBRALTAR and were left. A tour guide called us at 7:48am (07:48h) and asked us where we were and I informed them our reservation stated we were to be at the meeting point at 10:00am (10:00h) she stated she would call the agency we paid. That was WEEKS AGO and we haven’t HEARD FROM ANYONE not even CIVITATAS! I sent messages with pictures of our reservation and proof of time. AND NO REPLY! NO REFUND!

To make matters worse we showed up at 10am just in case there was a misunderstanding & LIKE ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS STATED…NO ONE SHOWED UP!

I would appreciate a REFUND OR AT LEAST some formal COMMUNICATION! Don’t use this agency OR CIVITATAS because they have been made aware of this BAD BUSINESS regarding this specific GIBRALTAR TOUR specifically numerous times!

After losing 1 hour entering all my information including passport number (???) Civitatis kept denying accepting my payment because my “card or account were not verified”.
What a sorry piece of software and a way for forcing a tourist to spend time and share information without providing the service promised.

If you need reliable service for a group needing a larger transport, don’t expect this company to come through. I had five transfers booked through them. Three for a van and two for a sedan. The sedan transfers were fine. Two of our three van transfers were cancelled. The first minutes before I got on a flight to Rome. The second the day before my departure from Barcelona. Each time, due to short notice I had to pay considerably more for the new transfer. The first, from the Rome airport was more than double what I had paid. They should not book you, confirm your transfer, and then cancel, leaving you stranded or out more money. The second transfer, they didn’t even call to let me know.

They cancel often on short notice due to no guides available or too few people registered. They should give you advance warning so you have time to pick another date. Also, they should tell you how many people are registered on each date so you can pick a date with enough people.

We had a fantastic time with Maurizio on our covered passageway tour yesterday! He was so knowledgeable and personable and really taught us so much about this part of Paris that we had never seen! He brought visual aids so we could see the comparison of what exists now and how the passageways and other structures have changed over time. He shared tips about what to see and do and where to eat while in Paris, along with the history of the many passageways we walked through. We had a great walk and the two seventeen year olds were engaged and loved it! Thank you, Maurizio!

All about our trip to Egypt was great. Specially our tour guide Aladino, he was the greatest! Super friendly and professional. We really enjoyed every city we visited with him , very nice experience l. Highly recommended

I did the walking tour with Claire as the guide. She did a great job informing us of the city and the history. I learned so much from her and she made it lively and fun. I would highly recommend taking the tour!

We had a very nice experience with our transfer service from Rome Airport (FCO) to our hotel in downtown Rome. Our driver, Georgio was great. The only complaint I have is more about the airport than the service. The crowd gathered at the exit from customs was very large and that made it difficult to locate our driver. I looked a couple times and finally found him holding a sign with my name. I already have reservations for another transfer and will probably make one more reservation for our current trip.

I highly recommend this app for your transfer needs. Both of my drivers were very prompt and helpful! One driver spoke little English and we communicated as best as we could. My driver when we arrived was amazing and gave us some very educational information about Rome.

It was the best idea the guide is prepared and give you a lot history and information about the city it was a big difference for us our vacation since we understand a lot of the history of the main attractions

Sarita our guide was at the meeting point on time and was very receptive since the beginning. In three hours we learned so much about the city and Antioquia. Sarita has a strong sense of community and gave us her personal point of Medellin. Very happy we did this tour.

Enrique was our tour guide today, and I can’t begin to explain how wonderful of a guide he is. He takes true pride in his work and it shows. He went above and beyond for us and provided the most pleasant experience for my Mom and I. Thank you for such a memorable experience!!!

Adam was amazing! He was so nice and knowledgeable. He gave us an in-depth history of not only the sites but the neighborhoods in which we walked. We had a really good sense of the neighborhoods, the history of the city, the role of Madrid in Spain’s history and the region and even the significance of individual streets and buildings. We learned about the ancient and modern history of the region and it was very enlightening. It was a great experience!

Booked a day trip to the beach and it was nothing short of amazing! The hosts arrived directly on time to the house we were staying at during our trip. I felt very safe and secure while on this tour. Upon arriving to the beach, the hosts informed us where to go and which restaurants were near just in case we decided to leave the beach early. The beach was one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and clean. I can’t wait to come back and book this same tour again one day.
