I purchased this product so that I would be able to have notifications sent to me when somebody comes in and out of my house and because I have somebody that’s lurking around my house the first couple days notifications worked they picked up on every single car that even drove by which was a bit annoying but at least I had notifications for two days I have zero notifications and I’ve had people come in and out of my house knowingly knowing that they went in and out and had no notifications I’ve been working with technical support there’s nothing we can do evidently in the reviews I’ve read this as an issue with iPhone. I would think they would get with iPhone and fix the bug or at least advice to people before they buy it that notifications doesn’t work on iPhone

Overall I am very pleased with my tend cameras. I have 6 cameras at this time and for the most part they function great. TendSecure is good but can use some improvements. Sometimes it is difficult to switch between cameras as TendSecure freezes and/or crashes when you attempt to switch cameras and needs to be restarted (that happens about 40% of the time). Additionally, once you add the camera to your account, the order of the cameras cannot be changed (an issue if you have more then two cameras) and want to organize them by location. The ability to change the motion detection schedule for specific cameras at the same time would also be a nice ability. But overall, I am happy with the cameras and app and would recommend them.

This is a great product. There is no lag on the motion detection and has never failed to pick up motion or facial recognition. The Infrared for darkness works incredibly well even in absolute black out darkness. The audio recording and live feeds work really well. My ONLY issue is that the sound output/ talk-back feature is not great. It needs to be louder and have live output rather than recorded audio output but either way it still works. I would recommend this product to everyone as long as they are not absolute lying needing the audio output talk-back feature.

I have owned 2 of the tend cameras and have had a multitude of problems. Biggest problem is that if you lose power, the handshake between router and camera doesn’t always work and camera shows off line. Then if you happen to get another power failure it will usually handshake. I am trying to use these as security cameras and am literally 1,000 miles away from camera.
Motion detection is very sensitive. However right now one of my cameras will record events, but will NOT send notifications. When trying to use as security device,1000 miles away, having cameras go offline or no notifications is less than ideal.
Other issue is only support is through email which causes delay and frustration. Will be looking for a different brand soon.

With the new update: why now when I open TendSecure I have to hit play to view the live feed from my cameras? This is inconvenient when I use TendSecure as a baby monitor. Don’t want to hit play every time I open, it should just automatically start feeding live.
Terrible setup, keeps disconnecting my camera with 75mbps internet. I have been trying to get it back up after our power went out and it will not connected for anything. When I try to connect to the camera through the WiFi, it says unable to connect to the listed camera model number. Over and over and over, reset and unplug the camera over and over. Still no dice.
This is on an iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7. I want to throw the camera across the room. First and last WiFi camera I will ever purchase due to such a poor setup experience.

A great value for the money, in a small size camera- full of advanced features such as high resolution video motion detection, two way audio communications, face recognition software etc. As an engineer and industry analyst, I am thoroughly impressed with it.
Frankly if 4-5 of these could be ganged together wirelessly, to make a Panoramic View in front of house -would greatly help the security monitoring with recording shareable with police at owner’s discretion.

For the most part the system works well. I don’t like the fact that when multiple mobile devices are used with this system, that you can’t customize the alerts and notifications. Ex: Mom’s cell phone has notifications scheduled between 6am-5:30pm, both Mom AND Dad receive them. Well, Dad sometimes sleeps during the day (due to work) and he doesn’t need the notifications. He gets them and it keeps him up, I then have to turn off the notifications and then I miss things that happen.
And it would be great if a 3rd camera was included, 2 just isn’t sufficient.
But overall, the system provides what I need.

When the camera works, it’s very nice, but it suffers A LOT of connectivity issues. Even when it is right next to the wifi router it has trouble connecting. Unfortunately, I don’t even realize that it has disconnected from the internet until after I needed it for something. I can usually get it to work after a few hours of trying, so I’m just sticking with it for now, but I would recommend trying a different camera.

Up until the release and install of version 1.6.1 i had very few issues. Since then my cameras no longer record motion events and neither of the 2 versions updates since have corrected it. I have employed enjoyed the pair of Lynx indoor cameras I purchased a year ago with very few glitches and up to this point my only 2 complaints 1) the internal WiFi antennas are VERY weak and get very limited range and had to purchase a WiFi repeater 2) unable to stream the audio to any Bluetooth devices while viewing the live feeds. Please address these issues in your next update. Thank you

Installed in 2 separate rooms. Video is clear however it buffers slot. I wind up logging out deleting TendSecure reinstalling TendSecure in order to view the 2 rooms. I shared this login with my siblings since it’s our mom we are monitoring and they are having the same issues. In fact when one of us logs in it bumps the one that is viewing. Developer ... I would love some feedback on how to resolve this that’s why I gave it a 3 Stars. Btw the message I get when it buffers is “Problem connecting Video Please force close TendSecure then re-launch TendSecure ”

I just added the Lynx Solar outdoor camera to my system using TendSecure, and I am VERY happy with it! TendSecure displays the WiFi signal strength and battery life for this camera, and allows my wife or I to check in on our home (or kids’ room!) whenever we want. The pinch to zoom, voiceover, and connectivity are all very easy to navigate, and it’s easy to switch between all 3 cameras. The hardest part was remembering my password! I highly recommend TendSecure for your home or office.

We use Lynx indoor cameras for checking up our kids and our cute dog, Francis. Cameras were easy to set up and video works great with HD quality video! It’s actually better than we expected. We also have one set up by the front door to monitor any activity. We can see the video captured any times which is great. Night vision works well at night when there is no light turned on. Very convenient to check our home when we are not home.

TendSecure takes forever to load anything when it is actually able to load something. I’m trying to view a saved video from the motion detector and all it does is load and load and load forever. I force close TendSecure and reopen it and still does the exact same thing. TendSecure needs to be fixed. It’s very frustrating rather than convenient. But when I do finally get it to work, I do like it. I like the features you can use when viewing the cameras but TendSecure makes the experience almost unbearable.

I have 4 cameras & have called & emailed for 4 days trying to reconnect to new router. Although my password worked 10 minutes ago, and now that I complained, my password doesn’t work on Windows 10 computer & my iPhone app has been disabled also in the last 10 minutes! Wow! No help, just wiped me out instead!
Eventually tend Secure Camera 7 Co told me to return 4 cams for ‘firmware‘ update costing me $13 due to their refusal to pay. When updated cams were received, could no longer get cams set up. Company told me to return them to Sams Club where I bot them. And no more customer support! I did return them! And purchased a different, better brand of Wyze cameras which are working well!

I’ve been using tend secure for 6 months. The quality of the camera is sharp and very clear. The audio option is great and helpful if I need to speak to my granddaughter while she’s playing in the family room. When I’m away from home I can go into TendSecure and check on my home which gives us comfort to know everything is safe and secure. I would highly recommend tend secure to everyone.

I’m a tough critic and when this camera did not connect I gave one star. After the firmware update the camera has connected flawlessly and has an excellent picture -4 stars and it will get 5 if this continues for a few weeks. This camera features a wide-angle view which shows the entire room compared to our Gynoii camera that only showed her crib from the same mounting position. Great product and thank you for the improved WiFi connection !!!

I have been using this software on three cameras inside my house and I have been able to monitor my house from all over the world daily without any problems. Having tried other cameras and software I have to say this software surprised me with its performance . No major hiccups and fairly straight forward to configure . Good job to the developers.

I very unfortunately use Tend for monitoring my babies nursery. However, since I got it, I have to reload TendSecure because the video freezes but the sound keeps playing or the video skips around, or continuously loads. Lately the video won’t load. At all. The only way that I can see my baby is watch the recordings. And sometimes those won’t even load. I’ve deleted and reinstalled TendSecure multiple times and the issue still continues. And unplugging the camera takes about 10-15 minutes for it to connect to WiFi. I don’t plan to do that while my baby is napping. Should’ve went with “Nest.”

Nice and inexpensive , have had for over 6+mons. Occasionally it goes offline but pretty sure its our spectrum internet causing the problems, otherwise we love thus gadget. We live home knowing that at anytime we can check on the kids by logging in, its great we can use 2way radio to speak with each other.

There are too many errors with recording. I can not hear the volume well when I am away from home. The volume goes in and out too much even when I am at home. Every time (100%) of the time when I begin to view live footage; I must turn volume on each time, because it automatically turns off when I stop viewing from camera. I have 5 cameras set up throughout house and it is difficult view from one to the other quickly due to the amount of steps it requires to navigate from one camera to the other. System will give error can not record a lot; when I’m at home connected to internet.
