I really want to enjoy CINEVR, but there is no way to view movies that I have on my phone. You can only watch the trailers in CINEVR , but even some of those don't work. Even though the developer says they've added iTunes file sharing it's just not there. If you go into settings there's no option to allow CINEVR access to iTunes, TV, or Photo app ! I love the graphics and would definitely give CINEVR five stars if I could just access my movies. I hope this can be fixed.

CINEVR does not work. I give it no stars and the developer is rude and is not going to fix anything. It does not play your local videos it does not matter which format you put your movies in. it will not play the developer will not respond on this issue all he says it works and it does not. The quality of the videos that are in there are very poor the only thing that looks good is the theater but what good is it when nothing works. Here is an app that works it's just not a social theater but it plays everything that you put in MP4 format (Cmoar VR Cinema) CINEVR does coast a little money but it works. And I repeat the developer is very rude. To the developer I guess you're not going to post this for everyone to see.(PS don't be rude to your customers)

I tried using CINEVR and it did not work because when I tried using an MP4 it did not work, when I tried watching one of the trailers it did not work and the only thing that did work was the 360 videos.

Amazing app, but there’s one annoying issue about the player itself. When the video is playing, the player’s interface seeking at the bottom is too close to the video, so that if I’m looking straightforward at the video, the bottom of the player will keep popping/showing. The player interactions should be lower/down so that moving your head while watching the video won’t trigger it.

Only worked one time and when it did it was very thought out looked very well made and was very cool but not it won’t let me even use it anymore I can’t use it without it crashing and there were a lot of bugs throughout CINEVR ,idk if CINEVR is still getting support but if was cleaned up it would be one of the greatest vr app on mobile right now.

It looked like I was in a theater. But you have to fix this. Every time I go play a trailer or others I would just get kicked out of CINEVR . How do I fix this? Is there anyway you have to stop this? Or you can’t? Well make it better. One time can you please fix this so it won’t kick me out?

I could get it to work a few times but after that it just won’t work so maybe it’s just CINEVR but if you can please fix this

When I try clicking the Vr button everything goes weird like you start spinning forever unless you leave CINEVR but I still like the just need to fix the bug

Well done, but the 3D is awful! It's so bad it's embarrassing and pointless! It's bad enough the effect is truly non-existent, but because it splits left and right, the resolution drops to a pathetically unacceptable level. Now can you please add the capability to simply stream video from Safari web browser?
And these audience characters have got to be ONLY an option! Especially the distracting typed names!

I download this today and after many hours, I am still unable to watch any movies.

The trailers and 360° videos that are included are near.

However, importing your own videos using the link that the developer provided in some of the other reviews, still did not work. I suspect this is because the movies I purchased from iTunes are in m4v format.

I went through this process and I am able to click on the file that I downloaded to my iPhone via iTunes but all it does is play a blank screen with no sound.

Also support for Netflix would be an awesome option.

CINEVR is pretty cool once you figure out how to add your own movies to watch but it won’t let me invite friends I click on invite friends and it won’t show anyone my Facebook preferences has it on everyone and my wife has it as well and it’s doing the same thing for her

This is an amazing concept. Actually had an idea to create an app similar to this a while back. You can make a lot of money from CINEVR by focusing on making it social. My idea was to create a similar movie theater setting with good graphics. CINEVR will allow you to create your own avatar, link up your Facebook, and make it optional to watch movies with people that are friends or to go into a room with strangers when you have the option to click on their profile and meet them. It would be great if you could interface with Netflix to watch movies, or charge people to view a movie with either strangers or friends . If I was giving the option to rent movies or subscribe to a movie service, CINEVR would be amazing

CINEVR is amazing the only problems I’ve had with it is that the audio sounds weird and it won’t let me play local videos. Once this is fixed CINEVR would be perfect.

I tried a few VR theaters and this one is passable. There are a few quirks but for a free app it does what ut needs to and thats play movies. You just need to load a file to itunes using file sharing. Basically go to app icon on phone. Then a window panel is open with file sharing. Select what file to open and upload it.

Then in CINEVR go to files or something like that and choose the movie.

The quirks is that sometimes the scroll bar where you select the point in the movie doesnt disappear. The audio seemed like i was in a hallway after a bit. The audience spoke too loud but if u select mute audience seemed to stop that.

I wish there were more viewable aspects but if you choose a different seat you basically adjust the viewable landscape. If you select 180 or 360 I had to hard stop app since couldnt get it back to the original.

Also not sure how to reset calibrations so if you're watching a movie but need to reposition in real life, can't recalibrate the screen to face forward.

But like I said overall worked but sound was a bit odd and resolution wasnt too great. But for free I say give a try. This is a keeper for now! Using an iphone 7.

First of all a great app could use a little bit of fixes in Cinema there is though a problem when loading a MP4 video through ITunes file share I wish you guys can fix this don't forget CINEVR update it and it'll be a success!

Although CINEVR is very entertaining, it would be better if it were available to see actual movies and not trailers. Also in the new update whenever I launch a trailer CINEVR closes. And the 360 videos always close CINEVR when launched

I really like this and it's the best out there, but some things like not being able to do trailers is annoying. Don't give up on something only you have done right so far.

Really great looking movie theater. Some of the files I played the audio was a little distorted , i restarted and it seemed fine..it still looked really good. Hopefully the dev Can update CINEVR for the iPhone X and possibly look into the audio issue

So far this is the best VR app i got my hands on, but there is a small issue i hope that the developers could help with, the issue is that i can’t scroll down on the document tab to see all the movie that i have added through iTunes, i had to delete CINEVR and only add 4 movies at a time and then delete them and add 4 different movies and that was very annoying, if you could help me figure it out that would be highly appreciated.

It’s really great overall and keeps getting better but one thing you guys should work on is the audio so it’s more surreal. The audio makes me feel like I’m not actually in a theatre.
