After having and loving DollywoodParksResorts for years I have deleted and reloaded it 3 times trying to figure out what’s wrong with it. I just gave up and deleted it for good.
It no longer shows the ride wait times, which is the only reason I had it to begin with.
On top of that, after you set the filters to show what rides/etc.. you are interested in, you have to keep doing it EVERY last time you get on DollywoodParksResorts .
When you’re at the park and want to ride something instead of just checking DollywoodParksResorts to see if it’s crowded, temp closed or whatever..you have to walk all the way across the park to find it’s closed or has an hour wait. It makes no sense why these features were messed with.

Every time I close DollywoodParksResorts it loses all my data. It would also be nice if you could access your tickets/season passes via DollywoodParksResorts . When I enter my profile information there’s a place to add a season pass number. I did that, but it doesn’t do anything and then just deletes all the information when I close DollywoodParksResorts . It also deletes any lists I create of things I want to do while in the park.

After creating a profile and saving lists, it is cleared out as soon as DollywoodParksResorts is closed. Wish this would link to the website profile with ticket information too (only option asked for is Sedona pass #. Again, no point of DollywoodParksResorts will clear out the profile). Waste of time to offer the option of saving and creating lists if DollywoodParksResorts does not store this information for later use.

I have season passes to KD and their app lets me link my seasons passes, keep them there digitally and access them as needed. Disney let me keep day pass info in theirs. I expected the same kind of option from Dollywood. We purchased season passes, but DollywoodParksResorts won’t even remember my name after I close it.

Please consider adding a place to store and link our passes. That way we can use digital options and have our info at our fingertips. It’s so much better when I don’t have to keep updating my info. It didn’t even save my trip list I was creating. At this point, I see no reason to even have DollywoodParksResorts.

The estimated wait times were way off. The wait time was 20-25 minutes LONGER than the estimated time! It is due to all the fast pass people who go ahead. They alternate the fast pass people with the regular line. Takes forever to get through the lines because of the fast pass holders
If I ever come here again I’ll purchase fast pass. It would be worth every $

I am just in the planning stage of going to DW and I’ve purchased two yearly passes. I downloaded DollywoodParksResorts hoping it would allow me to link my passes to keep that info there along with confirmations of when I’ve planned to visit the park. I’ve also set up my profile info. After I close DollywoodParksResorts , my profile info is gone. DollywoodParksResorts doesn’t allow you to store ticket info or confirmed dates of visits. So what exactly is the point of DollywoodParksResorts? A map and wait times? I’m not even there and I’m frustrated at reading other reviews where DollywoodParksResorts doesn’t work in those areas either. Someone get me Dolly on the line.

Lots of potential with DollywoodParksResorts but too many bugs to be useful. Purchased tickets on app but tickets never showed up in app or in purchase history. GPS lost lock on me in park many times and map became useless. Time estimates were usually not accurate for better and worse - many 30 min wait times were 15 minutes and one was actually 70. Refresh of map or wait times was not often enough. So I would close app and reopen it. DollywoodParksResorts would be awesome and very useful if it worked as it was supposed to. Was only negative experience of the park for me today.

The map and schedule works well, but the notice system has problems. I got a notification for a sale on upgrading my regular season pass to gold for a discount while in the park, and made my way to the front gate. I waited in line for about 40 minutes and as I spoke to her the notification went away all on its own before she could see it. She says the employees don't get notified of app deals and since she didn't see it, obviously she couldn't honor it. I was flat out told I was wrong and although she doesn't know what notices are sent out, she knows it wasn't that and I didn't see what I did. I was told it's my fault I didn't take a screen shot. It would be helpful if employees got a list of notifications as well as they're sent out so that these issues are easily solved.

I uploaded my pass information and email and spent time scrolling through all the options and created a list for an upcoming visit. Went back in a few hours later to finish and it was all gone, including my profile and pass as other reviews have noted. No place to log in. Would be nice if you could view your Dollywood account and passes on DollywoodParksResorts for easy scanning at the gate as well.

Tried using app. It does t deliver on most of what it promises. It glitches constantly. If you close it and reopen it you have to start all over and enter your information again to make lists. Rides that are closed don’t show as closed on app so can’t trust it. The ONLY thing it’s good for is seeing which way to go to get to a ride and the wait times, if the ride is actually open, are vaguely close to what they show. The park is understaffed so nothing opens on time. Disappointing

Was at the park and they said lightning was detected so shut the tides down. We waited around for an hour and decided to leave and come back but DollywoodParksResorts doesn’t tell you when the rides shut down due to weather. Other than that DollywoodParksResorts is alright.

I downloaded DollywoodParksResorts to navigate Dollywood for my first visit. The wait times were very helpful and worked great all the time. However the map and directions were quite poor. My directions once told me to go through at gated area and into a tree, very helpful. Also it is disappointing that you can’t view other attractions at the same time as having directions open (DollywoodParksResorts will redirect your view if you zoom out too far). Despite the criticism, I found the Dollywood app to be helpful, but I would be much better with some work.

I’m a season pass holder and live about an hour away. It’s incredibly frustrating that you have to be inside the park to see the wait times. It seems like it would be beneficial to allow at least season pass holders to see wait times all the time. If I logged in on a random Saturday and saw low wait times I would definitely drive an hour to ride a few things and get some food (aka give the park money).

I would love to say DollywoodParksResorts is great. The wait times is nice. Being able to see what is open on a given day is also nice. But ......

I tried to login and save my park pass, schedule etc. After all the work you close DollywoodParksResorts to save battery power, reopen it to find that nothing saved.

So long story short, it works great if you don’t close DollywoodParksResorts while you are at the park with DollywoodParksResorts open the whole time.

I’m a Dollywood veteran been there so many times I know the park no need for the map...but I loved DollywoodParksResorts when the ride wait times were on their so I could quickly check my next adventure destination and how long it would be??? But either I can’t find the feature or they don’t have this anymore??? Sooo Dollywood if you could please bring this back...I would love to know the wait times of each ride accessible by DollywoodParksResorts ! Thank you!!!

DollywoodParksResorts is nearly perfect, but it won’t show ticket barcodes after the first use. This is a problem if you buy a 2-day pass, for example. We had to stand in a special line at the entrance of the park so they could look up our purchase history. A minor annoyance, but still one that seems completely avoidable. You can export your tickets to Apple Wallet and they won’t be deleted from there. This is a must until Dolly fixes her app.

the map helped me get around the park easier... bc of covid they weren’t handing out paper maps so this helped out a lot. however to the lucky person reading this BUY THE FAST PASSES... it’s not worth it to spend an hour in the longest line to ride a 30 second ride( the coasters are super good ) buy the fast passes bc u will wait less then 10 minutes on a ride instead of waiting for an hour to get on. i didn’t buy them and i wish i did bc i wasted 7 out of 8 hours i was there in lines

DollywoodParksResorts to the park is amazing. Shows wait times, sorts by distance near me, lots of filters so you can only show rides / attractions you’re interested in. This is excellent use of technology and made our experience at the park even more enjoyable. Good bye paper maps

At first I was skeptical but we used DollywoodParksResorts a lot, it was helpful. I do wish you could add your to DollywoodParksResorts for faster entry to the park instead of having to look them up separately. Other than that, loved using it

My daughter slipped while we were visiting. Using DollywoodParksResorts, I was able to search for first aid stations. It showed the station nearest to where I was in the park, so that I could get help quickly. Thank you!

Please bring back the wait times. I used this religiously to decide if I visited the park. As a season pass holder for many years it allowed me to strategically decide what day to visit and miss the crowd. Ride wait times missing while off site along with Lightning Rod being closed will prevent my family from buying season pass next year. Come on Dollywood get it together.

Apparently Dollywood won’t give out maps anymore, so you’re supposed to use DollywoodParksResorts as a map, but it’s not user friendly, doesn’t pan out well, and guzzles power.

Show times are displayed so you’d think that would be useful, but none of the shows were running except the bird show. But it’s fun trying to get to an event, only to find it’s not running today despite DollywoodParksResorts claiming there are showtimes. Not!

I’m home from a fun day at Dollywood and DollywoodParksResorts finally loaded! We had server issues all day at the park. Never got to try DollywoodParksResorts . Also got booted from WiFi and then Pokémon Go. Sadly, that had been my plan for self entertainment while my teens had some independent time. Maybe it was just the full moon or it was raining in Nashville today.... I’ll try again. Still love your park. Just didn’t get any benefit at all from the memory space I devoted to your app.

Spent $800 for online season tickets including prepaid drink mugs. Front gate check-in said we could pick up mugs anywhere in the park where mugs were sold. After waiting in line for 30 minutes to get our drink mugs, we were told we had to get them at the sweetshop only. Very disorganized and very frustrating.

I use to love DollywoodParksResorts because I could see the ride wait times and we would choose which ride to go to based on that.. What happened to the ride wait times; they no longer appear in DollywoodParksResorts .. Really disappointed that they no longer show up..

If you know absolutely nothing about the park, it might come in somewhat handy. If you’ve ever been it’s basically useless. They took away the best feature which displayed wait times for the rides.

I figured out what happened with the wait time on DollywoodParksResorts . If you do not have location services on DollywoodParksResorts will not show wait times. I have yet to check it from outside the park to see if it works or not.

Nice app for checking Show & Ride wait times. Would love to see DollywoodParksResorts updated to include:
* The ability to add additional passes and scan for park entry—a dedicated location to see passes. Even considering adding Apple Passbook support.

It’s a great app to use in the park instead of carrying maps and performance schedules around. It’d be great if you were able to order food on DollywoodParksResorts so you don’t have to wait in the long lines!

Wait times for the rides only work when you’re in the park now. There are some sorting function that work off GPS that make DollywoodParksResorts jerky - but over - it worked for what we needed.

My husband and I bought a silver pass and a gold pass in December 2021. We were giving 6 "bring a friend" tickets. We were not giving any information about the "friend" tickets. In the spring we planned to bring out 5 grandchildren in Dollywood. We were told we could not use all 5 tickets at one time. We planned another trip to bring two friends from Texas to Dollywood November 30 and December 1 2022. We made reservations to board our Westie for those days. We were told we could not use our tickets for our friends in November/December. I tried to contact the kennel at Dollywood to cancel our reservations by calling, emailing, and any way I could think of. I was not able to reach anyone. We didn't want to leave our friends sitting in our motel room so we didn't go into Dollywood. We used our silver and gold passes twice. We are senior citizens and do not use apps and are computer limited. In 2022 we lost $50.00 for the kennel and wasted money on seasons passes. I went to the ticket information booth and they told me "we only sell tickets". I stood there for a while to listen if "bring a friend" passes uses were explained. Only after they have your money. A young lady bought a gold pass and was given 3 bring a friend passes; however she couldn't use one to get her mother into Dollywood, her mother had to buy a senior citizen ticket. Money is flowing now because of COVID and the country is opened up and people are maxing out their credit card. If inflation hits; will entertainment be on peoples list to spend their money? I called several people that I knew had had seasons tickets and they said they would not buy season tickets again. It was a waste of money because you couldn't use the "friend pass", too many restrictions. Disappointed in Dollywood.

Why aren't wait times on app? Annoying...
