Love that I can watch me some RSL games on KSL!! It has the casting option but has never been able to Cromecast, which is sad that I can’t see RSL on the big screen 😢, but I have the Channel on Roku which has been a great alternative. It is awesome that we can watch games that have been missed but it would be delicious if there was some sort of schedule of when you are playing previous games so that I can get on a watch when you are playing missed games and not hoping your playing the game I missed, or jumping into the middle of the missed game and have everything spoiled. Love that we can watch RSL for free, thanks this app for making this happen 😀.

I have an iPad Air 2. I have several issues with KSL . First, every time I open KSL , it will rotate from portrait mode to landscape mode, but will not stay on landscape mode. It is very touchy, and drives me crazy. Another thing that doesn’t work very well is the ability to airplay to an Apple TV. With that I have a third generation Apple TV (I think, its the one before the first Siri remote), and the screen is not a wide screen. It is only doing mirror play. While in mirror play, it will not load very fast, and slows to a crawl or just buffers.

If this is how it was designed, without these old devices then I’m sure it is working correctly. But for me and my devices we will hope for the best, and hope for some improvements in the future. I have tried it the last 3-4 RSL Games and nothing has worked.

Blind: For the RSL Streaming one has no idea what will be currently playing or what is up next. If you do not watch live. You then have to guess and hope you find it at the right time. Many times if you do not accidentally see the score for the game you want to watch you can calculate when the next replay will start, but which game is not known.

Buggy: Also if KSL crashes, which is does often you have to restart and watch the same ad before you can continue watching. I have missed manny goals because of this.

I have used KSL for years and has been my primary source for news. But ever since they made their new update it is virtually unusable. Most the videos don’t load and there is now an advertisement between every single video segment, I am fine with a few ads here and there but when you watch a 30 second video segment and then a 30 second ad and then a 15 second video segment and then another 30 second ad it gets extremely painful. I also used like that it would automatically go from one video segments to another when you went through the recent newsfeed. But now you have to click on each one.

I tried to watch the game on Apple TV tonight. It would not let me select the game at all. Then I pulled it up on my phone. I was able to watch the first half with several pauses in the video. At that point I selected the Chromecast option. It transferred to the Chromecast—and restarted from the beginning. this app treats recordings as a live stream and doesn’t allow fast forwarding. Four out of five times I give up. It is not worth the hassle.
KSL has been bad for years. It doesn’t seem to be improving. You can stop paying the programmers.

If you get a notification for something important and you tap it, you go to the home screen instead. Then you have to remember the title of the notification and try to search for it. Most of the time it didn’t work and you have to go to google to search.

If you want to share an important video, you cannot do it from KSL. You will have to google it on your computer and do it there.

It’s great to have this app on iPhone, but KSL needs an overhaul.

I’ve been trying to use KSL with my Chromecast for about a month now. I reported my issues via Twitter, and was asked for my device details, which I gave them. Since then I can’t get any kind of help or response for a feature that they claim works. It might work for some, but it doesn’t work for me, and I’ve seen others reporting the same issue. It’s a shame because KSL seems to work pretty well besides that.

Aside from the issues previously mentioned (overabundance of ads, lack of capability for AirPlay, landscape mode problems), there is actually only one thing that severely aggravates me about KSL.

The issue that bugs me is, when selecting a notification about a specific story, not being led to that story. It instead drops you to the main screen, where every story BUT the one I selected is being shown.
Sometimes I have to go on a figurative goose chase to hunt it down, and even then it doesn’t necessarily yield results.

Please, please fix this, this app IT team. I love your news source, but I give you one star in the hopes that—much like many others hope—you will pay attention and deal with it. Quickly. Thanks!!

Half the time it freezes. Doesn’t respond well to play and pause. And why no option to rewind or fast forward the news? You just have to watch it from beginning to end. And if KSL crashes, you have to start over from the beginning and watch all the stories you just watched. Today… no sound on ANY device!

This new app is great! Thank you this app. We have both the iPhone and Apple TV versions. This new version of KSL has so much more stuff and is much more stable. I’m looking forward to watching all of the Royals games this season.

News, Lifestyle, Sports, and live streaming. This is a great local app! I can come to this app TV app anytime to get my fix of Studio 5 and to listen to or watch past sessions of General Conference sessions. I can tune in to local news any time. It’s easy and I love the convenience!

Very unstable in horizontal position. Very annoying.

What is wrong with all these reviews? Seems like a bunch of anti techies or government spies... I got this to watch yer boi smash some rugby and it’s worked like a dream. Live laugh love.

Much better than the old app. Feels like a Netflix app. Very easy to use and lots of live streaming video.

KSL only works once. After that it won’t boot up, it has to be deleted and then reinstalled. This is the cycle you have to go through every time you want to watch the 10:00 p.m. news. I have Apple TV and that is what I do to watch anything on KSL.

It’s says it supposed to be live but it’s not. It’s at least an hour behind and keeps playing the same news over and over. I downloaded KSL so I could watch The Voice and other new series shows. No such luck!

This is the dumbest app. The notification tells you about a story but you can't find it when you go to KSL .

Stick with other news sources.

Easy to use app with lots of streaming options including this app tv, this app radio, uvu sports and the this app roof cam at the station.

I just downloaded KSL tonight. You’re going to force me to watch an ad prior to EVERY SINGLE story I want to watch? And the ads were all 30 seconds long except for one - and they were almost always the same ad???
Forget it. DELETED. Probably not the effect you were going for.

I never saw anything on KSL. It was always adds. I couldn’t watch them. I got fed up and deleted it. It looks nice. But the volumous ads ruined the experience for me. Go ahead and try it. See if you have all day to wait through the adds. My first review ever. That’s how much this apps adds bothered me.

This was a beautiful app that I absolutely loved when it first came out. However, now it only comes on for a second or two and then goes off and returns to the Apple TV menu. Nothing I have tried seems to make any difference. It just will not work.

I am appalled that this app never even acknowledged on the news etc. that there was no sound, except for the adds, for the whole hour.
I hope in the future that we’ll be able to see and hear the Kelly Clarkson show.

Works when I have WiFi, but when I use my data it is slow and the broadcasts play for a few seconds and then freezes. Please fix this as I enjoy using KSL to watch RSL when I am away from home.

KSL is worthless. One week I’ll be geo fenced and unable to watch the RSL game and the next week I won’t be from the same house! Not that geo fencing matters because it can’t stream a game without buffering every 2 seconds. Don’t even get me started on its inability to chrome cast. 0 out of 5 stars.

Being a directv user (soon to cancel) I was hoping the this app app on Apple TV would let me watch this app live as stated....but all I get is a feed that repeats the same news over and over. Nothing live, nothing other than the news broadcast being replayed. Very disappointed 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
