KSLA 12 First Alert Weather Reviews

Any time you exit KSLA12FirstAlertWeather intentionally or not it has to do a ridiculously slow reboot. None of my other weather apps do this. Also the radar portion takes forever to load and run. Alert notifications have stared lacking. Have literally been in tornado warned areas, verified by other weather apps and weather radio and never got a notification from KSLA12FirstAlertWeather. It used to be better in this particular area. Have the most current version of KSLA12FirstAlertWeather with all notifications on and location tracking and it still misses most, if not all alerts. It is the same way on my wife’s phone to.

Love watching channel 12, it’s the only one I watch for news & weather because they are always on top of the news & weather & keeps me updated with what’s going on around me & in places everywhere, thank you channel 12, keep up the great work 😊

Great weather updates and forecast. Very glad that weather alerts are sent via my phone. I live in the country and this is my prime alert notification system.

After I installed KSLA12FirstAlertWeather, I started noticing a big drop in my iPhone’s battery life. After checking the battery history report, KSLA12FirstAlertWeather was shown to be constantly running in the background. I then started killing KSLA12FirstAlertWeather after each use, but the background power consumption continued. Aside from that, I like the layout and functions very much. I still decided to delete it.

The person giving the weather should have a very brief pause after introducing themself BEFORE launching into their report as it seems there is a race to get started on the report. It is hard to tell sometimes when their introduction ends and the weather report starts as it all runs together!!!

I've used the KSLA Weather app for a couple years now and I fairly give KSLA12FirstAlertWeather 2 stars because of the fact that I can't even open KSLA12FirstAlertWeather or watch a weather video without having to FiRST watch advertisements/commercials...
very disappointing and frustrating at times!
I deleted KSLA12FirstAlertWeather and will use the 'hey siri' feature on my iPhone to inquire about the weather... commercial free!

I’ve used KSLA12FirstAlertWeather for many years now and helps me keep track of tornadoes in my area when the satellite goes out. Very helpful for hurricane tracking as well.

More than half of the time I open KSLA12FirstAlertWeather KSLA12FirstAlertWeather does not load properly. For example, my 10 day forecast could be sunny and 77 for the next ten days. In reality the temperatures are in the 90’s with thunderstorms. I quit using KSLA12FirstAlertWeather because of this. It’s frustrating!

Since the latest update KSLA12FirstAlertWeather has been draining the battery on my phone. It is constantly running in the background. I checked my battery status and the background processing had been running for 2 1 HOURS. It drains my battery in a day. The same can be said for the News app. Deleted both from my phone.

The channel 12 weather app is extremely accurate and reliable. I use it every day!

Here lately I’m having trouble getting the radar to work. When it does it is very slow. I know it’s not my phone because my other weather apps work

KSLA12FirstAlertWeather sends excessive notifications. Several pointless notifications a day. It will notify me that there is NOT a storm going on. Why would I want a notification that nothing is happening? I was hoping it would notify me of important weather events.

It’s ridiculous. KSLA12FirstAlertWeather may be useful enough but the advertisements in KSLA12FirstAlertWeather make it unusable. Constantly disturbing you, you can’t get to the information. I hate having my time wasted like that. Deleted.

Its a good app but it only work about half the time & thats no good

Why is it taking so long to update?

I live in the Arklatex and liked the idea of a weather app specifically for my area. It would not stay on my current location however, I live in Texarkana and it kept coming up with La Chute, LA. I have no idea where that is, but it's not where I live. It kept coming back to that town by default. Very disappointed.

Love having this radar, being able to select the different layers. I also use it on road trips to keep track of weather we're heading onto. Have actually used the earthquake tracker more than a few times, too. Cool!

Hate this release! First thing I always want to see is the current conditions and the radar. Now you have to scroll through multiple screens or use the pull down to find the radar. It's extremely cumbersome to use.

I'm impressed so far with the quality of KSLA12FirstAlertWeather. Much better than those news apps that just have a weather tab.

What's the deal with not being able to change location or settings. When I hit done KSLA12FirstAlertWeather crashes.
