I’ve uploaded all my relevant identification documents multiple times - drivers license, resident card - and bitFlyer continues to deny me access to buy/sell without any explanation as to why. My address and all my personal information match my IDs, so no reason to reject. Furthermore, I’ve been asked to withdraw all my funds as account will be closed, however, I’m still being assessed a transaction fee (should be waived in my opinion). The fee makes it impossible to withdraw as it’s below the limit. If I’m being forced to withdraw out my balance, however small it is, I should be allowed to withdraw without restrictions. The platform and app are not user/gaijin friendly and the support/customer service is of the poorest quality I’ve ever experienced in Japan. They can keep the measly ¥4000. I will make sure to tell anyone who ask to avoid BitFlyer at all cost. There are plenty of better services out there.

Mechanically malfunctioning the site since February 14 and have never corrected no matter how many times I’d request fir the correction. I must complain this issue to somewhere legally. I know this company has expanding to many other countries and I must notify them as much as possibly. Saddly I was ignored with any reason.

High spread, high transfer fee. If you support decentralization, do more research and don’t use bitFlyer. Just my 2 cents.

App charges about 3% in fees when buying and selling crypto so about 6% round trip. Not worth it, keep researching wallets this one is a rip off.

it might be zero fees but when you buy, they inflate the price and when you sell, they cheat you with lower than market price offer. immediate loss of ~$3.33 before you lose more trying to sell later. at least they DO allow transfers of the crypto but that costs .0004btc which is about $22 rn so no thanks! best possible use is for serious hodlers to beat the huge spread. but then there isnt any interest rate being offered to earn on your balance like blockfi does which is a lot better.

The service of buying crypto is okay if you use bitflyer lightning, but altcoin prices are always higher when purchasing than the advertised price. The UI is pretty bad, I.e when withdrawing crypto, you are not provided the total amount withdrawable considering the transfer fees (which are unique to each currency).

I’ve been using bitFlyer for some time. They focus on offering the things that investors really need: Access to the large coins (bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin etc), free and instant bank transfers via ACH, a user friendly interface, and robust security. Their trading fees are pretty solid compred to other exchanges as well.
It took me a while to find a legit exchange with so many scams out there. They’re licensed almost everywhere in the US including new york, so that was a good sign. No major complaints so far. Looking forward to more features

I made a review of bitFlyerCryptoExchange a few months back suggesting a few changes in their UI, after the most recent update, I have to say you got it!
bitFlyerCryptoExchange has not disappointed and I’m happy to see an improvement in the experience I have with it. Coins are easier to track, I can hide my holdings in case someone around me wants to peep in, and the overall feeling of it is much better.
