I’m only around 9 weeks so I guess I shouldn’t get my hopes too high for this even working at my early stage but I read so many positive reviews from people earlier than myself. I honestly thought I could make out a heartbeat (maybe even two!), but when I compare my sound with the sample sounds it ... Show more sounds completely different. Even my own heartbeat sounds different. I really hope what I’m hearing is a heartbeat as the only reason I tried this is because I feel like I may have silently miscarried but I don’t even have my first appointment to see a doctor for over two weeks yet.

First off all, BellabeatShell actually works, it is not a fraud! I’m barely around 22 weeks pregnant and if I get in the right position I can hear the heartbeat without a problem! I like the option to share recordings, but it would be even better if it shows the beats per minute.

I’m a second time mom, I know what a fetal heartbeat sounds like, however it’s been 12 years since I was pregnant. I know BellabeatShell is for late pregnancy, but I figured, what could it hurt?

Woke up this morning and just decided to play with it again. I kept hearing a faint noise that sounded too rhythmic to be anything else. So after about 10 minutes of playing around and moving the phone I heard it loud and clear. Sweet precious baby has a strong heartbeat and I was able to find it several times after that.

I was skeptical that it would work at all, so I did several tests. I checked my own heart rate against the data of my Fitbit. I then checked my husbands and rolled it around his abdomen to see if it was a trick. Picked up nothing but his heart beat when I was at his chest.

Tips for ladies who are just a few weeks, especially you first time mommies:

Lay flat on your bed or couch. Make sure your phone case is off. Watch the guide video, I was holding the phone wrong. Also remember that your uterus is still small and is low in your abdomen. I found the heartbeat between my pubic bone and hip, and had to push in some.

Now it took me a min to find my baby’s heart beat, but when I did I said “this is awesome they have apps like this.” The heart beat was so fast and nothing like mines that’s how I know it’s real. BellabeatShell is the truth I would recommend it to any fellowing upcoming moms. ☺️ #TeamShell

BellabeatShell is really cool! I’m 15 weeks and have been considering buying a home Doppler. To be sure, I also tried my arm, pillow and other areas around my stomach, and was met with silence. I dont know what other people heard, but I wouldn’t call BellabeatShell a scam. I think it’s a great, free alternative to a $40 home Doppler and we get to keep the recordings! ❤️

I am 23 weeks and this is my first baby. I’ve been going through so much that I was scared my stressing would harm my baby. I downloaded this when I was a little over 8 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and I have heard a lot of bad feedback about apps.. mixed reviews really. I decided to download this one after seeing so many good reviews. It works great for me. I tested it to see if I could get a random object to have a heart beat like people are saying but no luck her... Show more e.. nicely enough, I tried it the day the doctor found baby on Doppler at 12 weeks and there was a heartbeat in the same area. All I’m saying is don’t knock it until you try it. I looked at the reviews to see why some said they thought it was fake. I tried different pressure points on different parts of my body to ensure I wasn’t just getting a fake heart beat I never got a heartbeat unless I put it to my chest for mines or my tummy and found the baby. I never really review apps. I’ve found several apps like this and a lot of them had bad reviews.. The reviews BellabeatShell has inspired me to buy it and give it a try. Iv been using BellabeatShell since I was 9 weeks and everytime has been successful!
At first it took awhile to find it, but it was because the baby was so little and still growing, the further along I get the easier it is to find the heartbeat! I tried for about 5 mins with no luck. Then placed it on my chest and heard my heat which was rhythmic to what I felt so I decided to try again. Using BellabeatShell has brought a lot of comfort to me and fiancé. It’s great for peace of mind. I had tried another app before called “my baby’s heartbeat” (it’s a pink icon) and I could never find the baby’s heartbeat with it! I found it almost right away with BellabeatShell. I love how BellabeatShell shows you the best way/positions, and even gives you sample... Show more sounds so you know what you’re listening for. Another great feature is being able to listen before you start recording. BellabeatShell is perfectly made!!

Okay so confused..... someone please answer me. I have taken millions of tests because I just don’t feel right. I’m very in tune with my body. Every pregnancy test NEGATIVE! Blood tests.... negative. Back In November I got a pregnancy test with the faintest line... so I went to OBGYN she confirmed n... Show more othing was there with a sono. Saw a different gyn she confined nothing...I’ve been bleeding every month but my period is usually heavy and has only been super light the past couple of months. I’m gaining a crazy amount of weight and have no explanation as to why.... I get nauseous, I’m drained, always hungry, moody, stretch marks, etc. A couple of days back I got my period super late. Took a test while I was late NEGATIVE! Took another one after the spotting. POSITIVE with the faintest tiniest line.... went back to the obgyn pee test negative blood test negative... so I decided to download this app called bellabeat by shell because my stomach grows every day. My fiancé said why not..... welp guess what?? I heard a HEART beat. And before you say anything yes I checked mine... this one was 3 times as fast as mine.... did it on my fiancé NOTHING! I have taken several sounds and they’re all there. I YouTubed baby heart beat sounds on an ultrasound and it sounds exactly the same.... I have a demanded ultrasound in 2 weeks. Someone please explain what’s going on I feel like I’m crazy :)

This app is bomb!!! I thought it wasn’t real or it was giving me a fake heartbeat sound. But nope. It’s accurate and I LOVE IT. I heard my baby heart beat starting at 9weeks. I’m now 13weeks and I love it
