I've used many different types of wire transfer apps over the years and this by far is the best I've used. Only h**p*** has slightly lower rates but was sooooo slow and buggy I thought it had lost my money (since WU claimed it was sent days ago), but it took over a week to show .. the this app ACH transfers show up as pending in my bank account in 1-2 days!

The only real annoyance I've experienced is the referrals don't work robustly. I've recommended wire barley and they'd download WireBarley via my link, but even after they've used it I would never be credited, I filed reports before about this and they'd say something must've gone wrong on my end since no records of the referral show up (clearly not the case!)

I have been using WireBarley for a while and it saves me and other receiving end. I am a long time customer in Western Union because of its money in minute service allowing receiver to get money in minutes. But, it requires me to drive there and make a call to the customer service for about 10-15 minutes and the receiver also needs to go to the bank to claim the fund. I am grateful to find your service because now I can send money any time at my comfortable home. My elderly mom no longer needs to go to the bank any more. Keep up the good work. Five stars from me.

I wire money from Korea to USA or vice versa. so useful. I have been using WireBarley since I stopped wiring fund from KB bank(korean bank) to my Chase bank in USA. the reason why I stopped using Korean bank, Once Kb took me more than 2-3 weeks to wire. because my name got considered as a suspicious funds related with North Korea.
OMG I couldn’t believe it. I dun have even any relative in North.
well anyway since then it took me always more than 2weeks for the screening process. I gave up using that. I chose this app then Voila! so much easier so much faster of course!

I’ve been using WireBarley for months, and it is flawless from usability, low cost, to customer service. Back then, I had to visit brick-and-mortar banks to send money overseas. There were a number of fees attached to a transaction as well as some different requirements that makes it much more complex. When WireBarley came out, it changed the whole game. I am an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea and I often send money back to the USA. I don’t need to money to post in my bank account immediately, so I don’t mind that this app can sometimes take a few days to clear. I have made over 5 transactions so far ranging from USD $1,000-$3,000 and they have all posted to my US bank account within 2-4 days. You can’t argue with the fee (so small that it is of not consequence!) and the exchange rate is definitely better than doing it directly between the banks. The first transaction takes some effort as does adding new people to remit to, but subsequent transfers are super easy after a receiving account/person has been verified.

Overall, I highly recommend WireBarley.

I send money to my family in Korea for special occasions, such as parents' day, birthday, Christmas, and more, and WireBarley makes everything so easy! Once you set up a recipient, it is saved on your account, and all you have to do is select it. The recipient gets money in a few hours. Quick and easy! Also, this app eliminated the fee for Korea-America transactions. I used to use USAA or other methods before, there was always a fee, and the process always gave me a headache. Not anymore!

I was skeptical at first if WireBarley was going to instantly deliver my money from the U.S to South Korea as advertised. It really did and I can never be happier than now! I not only found a way to send money without any fee but also it happens instantly! I have used Bank wire transfer, PayPal, and other money transfer application but this app is far most efficient and intuitive. I strongly recommend any of you who need to send money abroad use WireBarley. You will be surprised how easy sending money is.

I live in the US and only 5 minutes after clicking complete button on this app App, I got an email from my Korean bank saying the process is complete! I was like are you kidding me? When I used WesternUnion the process would take a couple of days and someone needed to go to the bank in person to get the money. And when I heard the news that there will be no transferring fee forever with this app I had such a feeling that I was surrounded by the grace of The One who loved me so much and ended up dying for me on the cross. What a blaspheme!!

My family is currently living all over the world and this app has been the best method of making sure that I don’t miss anyone’s birthdays. I have been sending my parents and my sisters money using WireBarley and I am so happy with it and just upset that I didn’t know about it before! Recently, they removed all transaction fees which makes it even better (although the fee was only like $2 before which is still amazing!). I am living in USA and my family is living in South Korea. When I needed to send money to my family for birthday or anniversary , it was so hard and complicated to send money through bank. It took a long time and trans fee was so high.

I used TransferWise until I found out about WireBarley, this app. I was fascinated by how instant the transfer was and how I don’t have to worry about waiting a couple days to a week for transfers, especially in emergency situations. It not only has the best exchange rate but also no service fee. It shows a comparison between other transfer applications and their rates, and it updates the currency rates every 30 minutes. I love how they notify me via email and through app as soon as the money arrives. They even have events and coupons for signing up and inviting a friend! Such a great app! I highly recommend it!!

Since living in another country, there has been times when I needed to send money back home for my bills or some birthdays. Before I knew about WireBarley, I always had to go to a store to send money and whoever I sent the money to had to go to a bank to get it. Now nobody needs to go anywhere, which is a huge plus due to Covid-19. And the fee is cheaper. It was a little bit of a process for my recipient to be verified due to her age being young but the customer service was helpful. Once her information got approved, it was so quick and she got the money right in her account. I highly recommend WireBarley.

this app is the best wire transfer app I ever used! Before I started using WireBarley, I had to go to my bank whenever I wanted to send money from USA to Korea for all different occasions, and I wasted a lot of time at my bank. Especially in this pandemic, it is kind of dangerous to do so. However, I don't need to do that anymore since I can send money with WireBarley. It is very quick and easy!! I've been sending money to my familes and frinds to show my love for them with via app throughout the year. They receive the money right away and feel my care even when we am apart. I will keep using WireBarley in the rest of my life!!

Now I have been using this app for several months. I was in research of an app to send money to my parents who live in Korea (I live in the US). There were several different apps that came up but I decided to go with WireBarely as it had the best overall review. Also, when I compared the exchange rate among different apps, WireBarely had the “best-deal.”

The initial set-up was a breeze. All I needed from my parents were their account number and the name of their banks. My very FIRST transfer took a couple of days as my parents’ accounts had to be verified.

The subsequent transfers, however, took only like 1-2 hours when it’s done during the weekdays (or business hours in Korea). The best part is that there is NO FEES whatsoever (the amount of my transfer is usually 1000USD). I have mentioned about WireBarley to several of my friends already now and they enjoy using it too.

I will continue to use this app for a long time as I am highly satisfied with WireBarley .

I am based in the US and have been using this app for past 4 months (have made over 10 small transactions to my family based in Korea).

Once you go through the initial set up of verifying your identity and registering your bank account, sending money abroad becomes very easy and quick (literally 3-4 clicks and money is sent/received within 5mins). Also the money goes straight into bank accounts, so no need of making a visit to bank/western union. Exchange rate is competitive/fair plus no fees! I highly recommend WireBarley.

For users who need to make big transactions, WireBarley has a daily limit of $10,000 and yearly limit of $50,000.

Never use Bank wire transfer abroad because bank usually charges $30~40 for international transfer fee plus hidden fees in the recipient bank!! I sent $500 to Korea in Bank of America, they charged $35 and the recipient Bank charged another $20.
Then, I started to use this app because of a lot of recommendations and high reviews. This is THE most amazing app for transferring money. Basically, no hidden fees and it’s super fast!
I received two $5 gift card when I first time logged in, I did not pay any transfer fees. Even I was able to save $5 using the gift card!

I’ve been sending money From US to Korea for almost 20 years, using PayPal. PayPal took fee my side and take another few from the Korea side of the bank. Also not available right away money receiver. But this app no fee upfront or hidden neither. Also money available almost right away. You can see the exact amount you send to the receiver. If I knew this app a long times ago I use this service and save all fees I’ve been paying. I also want to mention customer service. Their customer service outstanding!! They help you if you have any questions and problems. I recommend this app to everybody and I already recommended my family members. Thank you this app!!

I have been using WireBarley for a while. Let me write why this is amazing.
first, Fast services. You don't have to wait for 2-3days. If you send money, it will arrive in less than an hour.
Second and third, You can send quite a big amount without fee. I sometimes need to send money because my sister got sick. But WireBarley covers me without any fee. I use BOA and they charge me a fee, 40-60 bucks but this is free and fast.
Lastly, I traveled a lot. Mostly Canada or Korea. But I don't have to worry about currency exchange. I just transfer the money.
So please try WireBarley:) you will love it

I usually don’t post reviews, but my recent experience with WireBarley compelled me to share. On December 24, I sent $100 to my sister overseas. The delivery date was set for December 27, but I later received a message asking for a review and missed a call from them. When I called back, after few times high volume of busy, I spoke with customer service in Korea and was surprised by the intrusive questions they asked: where I work, how much I earn weekly/monthly, why I was sending money, where the money came from, and details about my relationship with the receiver. They even requested my bank statement. While I understand the need for security, these questions felt excessive and should have been clarified before withdrawing my money. I’ve been using their service for 5 years without any issues, so this was disappointing. I strongly recommend staying away from WireBarley.

Do not use Wirebarley if you want customer service. The staff think that you work for them and bit the other way around. Their marketing staff look like they are straight out of the homeless encampment and they treat you like you are from the homeless encampment. Do not use this company if you value customer experience or even not experiencing hate from the staff. This is a very racist company towards Asians, even though they are Asians themselves. They are some kind of bananas.

My transaction done through wirebarley on 18 July 2022 and it got cancelled and money refund process started .. and now it's been so many days I keep calling for refund status , the answer I get from them is we are working on it ..
