this app has become unusable due to delivery issues. Food is routinely an hour or more late, or worse, orders are cancelled at the last minute. Customer service through the chat function regularly assures you that the food is on its way only to come back an hour later and say that the caterer has cancelled. They allow you to rank restaurants but don’t allow you to see which restaurants use DoorDash as their delivery service. The DoorDash orders are routinely late or cancelled. I am deleting ezCater and I recommend you find your catering solutions elsewhere if your business is important to you.

Don’t let this company fool you they do not have their own drivers they use door dash drivers and they rip the drivers off they don’t give the tip to the driver they keep it Christmas time I had a fresh to order from Cumberland mall to deliver it was over 300 meals and I had to drive 13 miles for $8.75 I did not know this at the time because with door Dash they don’t tell you the whole tip until you drop off and I saw the receipt from the customer there was a $50 delivery fee and a $50 tip I received nothing but $8.75 they keep all this money for themselves they are a bunch of greedy peopleI’m just trying to raise my children I am a single parent and that kind of money would really help me if I was to get it please do not order through these people door dash does catering also and I think they do a better job because they always make sure we get 100% of our tips

Look, you’re obviously a catering app for people who work in sales. How you can so consistently drop the ball absolutely blows my mind. I placed a large catering order 12 hours before an event, and EZ Cater let me know an hour and a half before the event the restaurant can’t fulfill it. To top it off, customer service found a “replacement” who could make it 15 minutes late, or so they thought. I didn’t believe this so I made the agent call the replacement restaurant and turns out it would actually have been 2 hours late!!

Being thorough might have just saved me my biggest client, despite the best efforts of this heaping garbage pile masquerading as an app.

If you value your clients and want to hit quota, don’t even download this nonsense. This is literally the only app review I have ever written. Heed this warning.

Spent 20 minutes creating an order for a large hospital luncheon on the afternoon before the event. Well before the restaurant I was ordering from was closed for the evening. Got a confirmation. Discovered this morning that the order was cancelled. NO COMMUNICATION from either exCater or the restaurant. I had selected “find an alternative” as this option was available. this app just dropped the order when the caterer wasn’t available (why list them then?!?) and didn’t bother to notify me despite having an email and cell phone on file. UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL & USELESS! I deleted ezCater . I can’t risk my own business by trusting it to such a terrible system. Run away from this app.

I am now on my 4th different caterer to try to schedule. I have submitted three already that are on the list as available, only to have them all cancel on me after the order was placed. If the sights can’t provide the service, it would be much easier to not see them on the list of options to begin with. I’m hoping something will come together, this is my 4th try for a sandwich tray order. Not rocket science catering, just sandwiches and cookies for an outdoor gathering. We’ll see how it goes this time, but if it fails I likely won’t be trying again.

In concept this is a great idea. Unfortunately from experience this is tougher on the employees that deliver the food. Many company’s charge a delivery fee and that is not a tip for the person delivering it. They don’t get any part of the delivery fee because that’s just what the company chargers for having to send someone out instead of being in the restaurant. Many people do not tip on ezCater because they never see the employee nor all the hard work they do to set everything up to make it easier and enjoyable for you. It’s like serving many people that deliver are also servers so they don’t get much of a paycheck if they even get one so when y’all don’t tip the employee doesn’t make money. Just a fruit for thought other then that ezCater is nice and convenient for both customer and company.

I do traveling pharmaceutical sales. Most appointments include a meal and ezCater has saved me time and given me a ton of flexibility. What would take 10-15 minutes on the phone with only 1 caterer would take me only a handful of minutes on EZ Cater. I can compare prices very easily and the 3rd party vendors have always been professional and on time. Expensing in Concur has been made a dream! I wish I’d known about this sooner!

Before I was told about ezCater, I regret catering. It took so much time, effort, and stress. No, it is a breeze. One time I ordered the last minute. The restaurant I picked did not accept the order. I got on the staff on the phone. They did everything possible to get me the food. I learned to order 48 hours before the event to make sure everything goes well. Thank you EZ Cater

I know that when I order a meal through EZ Catering I can focus on presenting my business instead of the food. When I place an order, EZ Cater checks to make sure that it makes sense; places the order with the vendor; confirms it and even let's me know the day of delivery that everything is on track. If I have any questions or concern, there is always a live person to speak with. A very customer service oriented company and very easy to work with.

I love this service and using it makes my life easier.
It allows me to proficient through my day and I am not on holding the phone with a vender trying to place an order.
A few clicks and submit and I know everything will be taken care of and on time!
Another added benefit of EZ Cater is it will Synchronize my receipts into my Concur Expense Reporting system. Making losing a receipt virtually impossible.
I highly recommend this EZ Cater Service.

This review is for ezCater itself and also the customer service. ezCater is so easy and quick to use on your phone and ipad. A real time saver. The customer service is exceptional. I’ve had caterers cancel on me and this app’s customer service have always been able to find me excellent replacements within a few minutes. Highly recommend this service to anyone that regularly uses catering services.

“Oh Crumbs, an error has occurred please try again”. If I had a nickel for every time I got that message with ezCater. I’ve reported that not only does ezCater NEVER WORK on my phone, it also Never works on my iPad, AND I can’t access the website via the internet. The response? It seems to only happen to me. I find that unbelievable. I’ve been able to place literally a few orders over the years because it it so glitchy and unreliable. Those reward points that sound so great...? Well, mine expired because I couldn’t place orders to get to a threshold to earn enough to cash out! And I’m ordering, just not through this app because IT NEVER WORKS! I am 20+ years in Medical sales. I spend a lot and I can’t ever get this service to work. On a side note, a teammate used them for a joint call we did-caterer never showed to a nursing staff meeting of 30 people. They didn’t get dinner because of EZC. I try it again every few months to see if it’s improved, but alas, I should just give up!

Has made my life so much easier as a pharmaceutical rep who caters lunch is often EZ cater takes all the legwork out of doing a business lunch and allows me to focus on making more calls and getting organized for my presentation versus running around trying to get the food that may or may not be ready when I need it and setting it up etc., gives me fewer things to carry into the office not to mention getting points is a nice bonus! I use them every time when I can!

I have had more late orders than I have had on time orders this is by far the absolute worst catering service I have ever used. I’ve been a user for 3 months now because of area demand and it has been the worst 3 months ever. Absolutely terrible customer service. Orders are always 30 minutes late. Restaurant and driver do not alert me or EZ Cater when they will be late. I have had to spend 30 minutes multiple times trying to track them down to see where the delivery was.

You should have access to the restaurant you order from and not have to wait on EZ Cater to find them.
There have been times where I am double charged and other times where I’m not charged for a month. I absolutely HATE this service and wish it was off the market.

I have had more than one lunch meeting get ruined because this app doesn’t do what they claim too do. I get confirmations that the lunch order is confirmed and will be delivered. Than it doesn’t show up at the designated time and I have to call this app to find out what’s happening! They do not communicate well at all. I have serious doubts if they even re-confirm orders like they claim. I had 2 lunches this week with order/delivery snafu’s. No one called me to notify me. I have to be the one that try’s to figure out what is happening. I would not use this service.

I cater for lunch several times per month and I knew about this app but really (thought) I wanted to be in control of menus, etc. When the pandemic started, I began using this app because I knew they could deliver and many restaurants were limiting service's because of reduced staffing. I have been thrilled with the level of service received. The support staff reaches out for quality checks, intervenes immediately if a wrinkle pops up like a cancellation or the inability of a restaurant to fulfill an order. The rewards program is awesome as well! I am hooked!

Selling is my specialty. It’s what my focus it’s on as soon as I leave my house. Catering is not something by wish to worry about. In our business, Emile is designed to get an opportunity to visit with our clients and an awkward or disastrous situation with a caterer is the last thing I need. Easy cater avoid the situation’s. At first, using ezCater was a little confusing, but your one 800 line and the kind individuals that immediately pick up late things so much easier to deal when the few problems did occur. Thank you easy cater!!!!!

EZ Cater is the absolute best app for group food ordering. I will never use anything else! I need to order frequent meals for a collegiate sports team and EZ Cater takes the pain out of ordering food. They handle all of the communication with the restaurant, reconfirm the order, and keep me updated. Their customer support is also INCREDIBLE. I get through instantly every time either via phone or chat, and they’re always so helpful. Also, the measures they have taken to make food ordering easier during COVID with individual packaging and their group ordering feature is awesome. Thank you EZ Cater for making my job so much less stressful! I have recommended you to so many people.

I don't write reviews, especially apps where there are already thousands of reviews, but this app has been so awesome, I want to add my 2 cents. I cater for companies 2-5 times a week, and that gets exhausting trying to find and order from different individual companies.
this app is brilliant and takes out so much stress, not to mention rewards for purchases.
I hopped on a plane today and realized right before takeoff that I had forgotten to cater lunch for 18 people tomorrow. In a panic I downloaded ezCater , grabbed a caterer that was available, and was done with the order in no time. Incredibly convenient that the whole site/app is designed the same way and there's no fine print to read.

I’ve been using EZ Cater for 10 years, and finally leaving a review. Obviously five stars, or I would not have been using it for 10 years. I felt encouraged to leave a review today based on my recent experience with one of the EZ Cater support team members. Time and time again, they respond almost immediately and help modify orders, or cancel, even if it’s past the cut off times. Best assortment of restaurants and of course the point system is what keeps me using their services!
