Conservative News - The Report Reviews

Since Matt sold one of the most read websites in the world and apparently the editorial staff and proofreaders left with him. The new owners are the ad agency that sold advertising for the Drudge Report but know little about maintaining editorial quality. Nobody there proofs or edits the comments section. That section is an abysmal display of offensive comments that are machine produced neo Nazi comments that have little or no value to the stories being posted, The staff’s story selections are not really stories but thematically inconsistent that contradict the stories ahead or behind. This is what happens when ad agencies oversee the editorial department or what’s left of it. The current Drudge Report is only a splinter of itself. Shame on Matt for selling out to to a bidder who knows nothing about quality journalism and tearing down versus building up the property. I hardly read it anymore and DR is never cited.

I love ConservativeNews! Now I can get brief summations of topics that are expanded on the American Thinker website, which I value for not only the excellent writing but also for the comments. I tend to trust well written letters to editors more than the writings in newspapers & magazines, but using The Report app gives me brief insights & intros into American Thinker’s essays when I’m not able to log in. Thank you!!

This is a great site. ALL the conservative news with the ability to formulate a response and feel free to say what you think. Love this ability to do this without the site asking for too much personal info. Also you are able to choose the News from the sources you like. Thank you!

My relatives who only listen to national and local public radio, read the New York Times etc. are not even aware of most of the news. My sister from Boston is a prosecutor and my brother-in -law is a medical doctor from Portland, Oregon. And their views mimic the Democratic Party talking points. Their news sources have a bias. This website enables customers to round out their information sources.

Each article gives readers an opportunity to leave a comment. While mostly fair discourse between users, there are also multiple racist and ignorantly hateful comments posted on every single article, whether or not the article has anything to do with race. Meanwhile, perfectly normal and even insightful comments have been fIagged for moderation - the double standard here is obvious. Shame on the developer for allowing this crap to happen. I am no longer using ConservativeNews and moving onto better news apps with less vitriol and more intelligence.

With “R” I don’t need any other source. I get the latest and most reliable information anytime I want.
Ii gives me the ability to delete some news providers, and also to determine which I want to appear first. I only wish I were able to rearrange the order in which the organizations are listed.

The only issue I have with it is that pictures and videos do not seem to be available in the body of the articles. I really like being able to comment on them. Those who complain are the left whining about fee speech and gettin their feelings hurt. Too bad deal with it snowflakes!

Too much liberal trashing the president. The Washington mindset is totally left. Trump has made countries that had their hands in the US treasury’s pocket pay their own way. He also used tariffs to level the field which forced other countries to renegotiate trade agreements. Economists will tell you that tariffs are bad but Trump showed how they can be used as a tool. I had my mind changed on this economic rule and many other things. It is obvious that Trump thinks outside the beltway and those inside the beltway cannot.

The Report saves me so much time by aggregating all of the “real news” in one convenient app. I am actually going to drop my WSJ subscription because it has such a leftist narrative. After spending time on The Report everyday, I am informed and knowledgeable on the day’s events.

I love ConservativeNews for my news updates. However, something has happened to the connection with The Blaze. New stories are popping up, only to become a blank screen when I try to read them. Frequently takes 24-48 hours before I can read them, which is really frustrating.

It has so much Real News in One App.

My IPhone is going to Update itself overnight tonight and I hope and pray that ConservativeNews will still be available afterwards, had that happen with American Thinker before, and couldn’t read it on my phone till I found ConservativeNews

So what’s up? Why so many clearly wrong and ignorant links the last few months? I’m fine with links to cogent articles from both the left and right, but lately there have been many links to articles that present the left’s position using flat out wrong information and data. Looks to me like there’s a new editor in town that is trying hard to present both sides but is failing miserably. I used to be a daily reader, now I go to other news sources first.

I am done with this site it is obvious that the underlying agenda has changed. I see inflammatory titles and more importantly I see this site avoiding the truth. Tell me how Mitt Romney faking a Twitter acct isn’t news but him voting against Trump is? I can give many more examples but I won’t waste anymore time. Good luck with your base. I know a lot of people deleting your app. I’m one of them.

This by far the best app for conservative news sources and it just keeps getting better. I very much appreciate the fact that you can submit recommendations to add new sources and they add them within a reasonable time. Thanks and keep it up!

When clicking on the original article—to see videos, for example—the pop-ups on the website cannot be blocked, re-popping again and again, blocking the content I *want* to see. No matter what I do, even actually watching the ad, stops them. I have three Safari ad blockers, but the do not affect The Report’s browser. A little help?

I searched for Drudge (not to be found) and downloaded this as a substitute. I had my filter set to only show “iPad” capable apps. This one looked good but only displays in “iPhone” size on my iPad Pro (which is worthless).

I gave it 3 stars because it looks like it has great potential to be even better than my now non-functioning Drudge Report App but if they show it as working on an iPad, it needs to be an iPad capable version.

Please develop this for the iPad!

This is a good drudge reader.

The problem is that every time you open ConservativeNews , it shows all the stories as unread. I want links to stories I read to be gray.

Also, it would be nice to have a “mark all read” so when I come back, I can easily see what is new.

Awesome no frills app.
Just information and the ability to select which source you are getting your information from.
The only thing I would change is to add Rantingly as a news source.

I appreciate the wide selection of reputable news sources. Gateway pundit has proven very reliable as well as several other listed sources. For up to the minute accurate news The Report is hard to beat!

I like ConservativeNews a lot. Wonderful being able to see all the headlines in whatever publication without having to go there. One improvement you could make is to allow us to copy the individual article shortcuts for sharing with other people.

Nice to have a place to read about actual news. No fake bull. I love how I can unclick drudge and not have that even on the list. I used to love Drudge. It was the place to go for news. The last year it’s slowly been turning into an altleft liberal fake news app. I’m really surprised and disappointed. But with ConservativeNews I don’t ever even have to see the word drudge. Thank you. Breitbart and Liberty Daily are great!

This new version is fantastic on the Iphone. A great replacement for the older version that stopped working on the Iphone and Ipad, with IOS 11. I am presently using this version on the Ipad, as well, but would love to see a new version, optimized for the IPad in landscape mode. Great work!

Also it appears to provide information that the corrupted “New Media” slants toward their propaganda and therefore leaves out.

ConservativeNews is fantastic! There is no easier way to get all the headlines you want in one place without searching through several websites. Offer a purchase for being ad free and it would be perfect. So long Drudge...

I have an iPhone XS Max and after the new software update that allows “dark mode” which I prefer, I can no longer read the stories they are too dark (the words aren’t white they are black) meaning not compatible with the update please fix!!!

I did not know about this wonderful app that gathers real, not fake, news from other prestigious publications. I am already addicted to it. This needs to be released more to the American public.

I have downloaded ConservativeNews from the Apple App Store and use it on IPad. It is very frustrating because I see that some users have found a way to reply to comments even there is no setting in my version of ConservativeNews that allows me to reply. I have googled this to find a solution but to no avail. I am wondering whether users who post replies are able to do so only by hacking ConservativeNews . Hope App developer will respond to this review.
