I would understand if MotoGP was $20 for the year, but it’s $130. For that price, it should work flawlessly EVERY time... nope, won’t let me watch the races, just keep taking me to the login screen for VideoPass even though I’m logged in already! What it will do though, is spoil all the results for you on their feed! First thing to pop up! I know the results so far for Brno 2019, and lost interest in watching the rest of the weekend. Matter of fact, this will probably be the last time I purchase this. If I could give it zero stars I would. And the fact they try to charge you for everything, like the timing or the live tests... greedy greedy Dorna... at least make your stuff work right if you’re going to charge for live timing separately... Besides, this app has become boring, just change it to the Marc Marquez show and call me in a couple of years when it gets exciting again... maybe, just maybe, by then you’ll pull your heads out of someplace dark located behind you with the performance of your “app”

I am a huge this app Fan, and having the subscription is absolutely a must. However you’d think with that kind of funding. They would create an outstanding app. This is so far from that as it could possibly be. The whole user experience is a joke and the interface a mere disaster. No option to view timings on the phone while streaming to Apple TV. (Still no Apple TV native app either) no multiple camera view while keeping the commentary. No digital implementation of the current standing graphics, so I can read them on my small device. And there has not been an improvement or change in years... so sad! Don’t expect anything from this developer, I noted this and wrote them about this in the past. Their response was a joke! They said they would improve - this is two years ago - nothing happened.

I don’t know why but every time I move from one screen to another MotoGP requests me to “update my profile”. You cannot move past this or close it out. It takes you to the screen to update your preferences and when you do, click save, it says it cannot be done. Not sure if this is their way or sticking it to “Us Americans” or what but it’s quite annoying. I have even gone in and updated my profile and email preferences from a computer in hopes to avoid this to no avail. Other than that MotoGP works pretty well.

MotoGP seems slick. Almost as cool as the main version. Navigation seems straight forward and you can set the home screen to the No Spoiler page if you have to watch the races after they’ve happened. It’s easy to cast to your television but my only complaint is that there’s no control of the video content. If I want to pause the race or a FP session that’s a no go. Once you start a video you can close MotoGP and the stream continues. That’s cool because my phone will conserve battery. I hope that streaming controls will be a proper option soon.

It looks really nice MotoGP but I am suffering often problems to watch the races. I have my subscription since some years but the recent races it has been a nightmare to watch the races because there is no way to log in. The recommendation from the support is to log off and log in again, or even reinstall MotoGP . In spite of doing that it doesn’t work. You open a case with support and the first answer comes three days after. So there is no interest to watch the race by then. MotoGP is not working properly The support is extremely bad This subscription is more expensive than F1 TV and MotoGP is far and beyond worst than F1TV

Very poor navigation, very poor playing of the practice/race sessions, works on and off. And no, it’s not my phone, I watch races and practice on the F1 app without the same issues. Maybe Dorna could start to produce certain things outside of Spain? The level of MotoGP is amateurish at best

The developer keeps spending time here telling everyone they will work on improving MotoGP but reality is that it’s years they are failing and nothing is changing. I stopped using this ridiculous app and use my laptop to watch the races. If you only have a phone and no laptop/desktop, save your subscription money, MotoGP will only drive you insane.

MotoGP never worked correctly In order for me to view the content I paid for I constantly needed to “ restore” my purchase. In addition I was never able to view paid videos on my PC which I should have been able to do. MotoGP support is terrible the only thing they could suggest I do was log into MotoGP with my Apple ID then log in on my PC which according to them would link the 2 accounts this didn’t work. Dealing with them was made extremely difficult because they are in Europe and I’m in the USA so it took days for them to even respond. I’m a huge this app fan and it wasn’t worth it don’t pay for the video pass

I'm paying Dorna 150+ usd to get frustrated and mad for the last six years! Every time I complain they tell they are working on it, blah, blah. For this price, which I would NEVER pay for anything but Moto GP, MotoGP should be the most flawless app on the web! But no, just the same crap service, year after year! What exactly is the problem there? Do people in Europe not know how to make a high quality app? I’m sure you could hire some American talent to make app flawless, like it should have been years ago. I would appreciate a partial refund if you can’t get this together for once and for all. Us Americans deserve good service as we are a big supporter of this app. GET IT TOGETHER!!

MotoGP is so buggy that one can’t help feeling that Dorna puts as little money into it as they feel they can get away with. It’s a shame because the high cost of the VideoPass ($170) deserves a better platform (as do the customers who pay the high price to watch a quality product that seems very well funded in every way apart from their app and internet offering. I’ll keep paying it because I don’t have any other options but I’m not happy about it. As a customer (and more importantly as a fan) I feel taken for granted and under appreciated. Dorna must do better although they seem unlikely to do so.

I have the pass and have watched 4 races from 2020 season streaming from my phone to my TV. I’ve yet to experiment any issues. Layout is pretty much like the website. Take other reviews with a grain of salt. I also normally never leave reviews for anything but I felt compelled because i think MotoGP is worthy of at least 4 stars. Haven’t watched live yet so can’t speak on that.

Kind of furious that this is the only way to watch my beloved Moto GP. MotoGP is not badly designed but it doesn’t work well. My main problem is the audio goes out of synch with the video about 50% of the time making the races unwatchable. The other audio options don’t work well either. The price is outrageously high and there is not option to have alternate announcers. Hearing them fawn all over certain riders and use the same stupid British cliches over and over is maddening. Trying to get support is laughable - like calling the tech guy who only knows to say, “have you tried re-booting.”

There should be no excuses after all these years for such a buggy app. There are so many issues with login - failed passwords, not loading on Apple TV - yet it never fails to charge your account with $130. The latest is a message that will not allow you to log-in unless you agree to the terms - yet there is nowhere that you can click to agree on the terms. C’mon guys you must be able to do better.

Second year, worst problems. I emailed the support yesterday telling them that the live video is not working from the ios app. They responded with a few lines of instructions which have nothing to do with what I reported to them.

Come on, its only a first race of the year and you are having such problems. Also while I am here, you could fix the Apple TV app too. While watching a clip or one of your interviews, the audio track skips and is not in sync with the video. It does it all the time.

This will be my last year subscribing to your service. Thanks but no thanks.

This is a great app!! this app in High Def video...truly stunning! Oh did I mention they have an Apple TV 4k App too...they Do!!! There are also slow motion High Definition replays...truly stunning on a big screen TV!!! No bugs, don’t believe the haters on cheap equipment, MotoGP works perfectly!!! Also, all the rider interviews you would ever want and free practice and qualifying footage!! They have done a fantastic job with MotoGP and the Apple TV 4k App is a racing fan’s dream come true!!!

I dream of a day that they take MotoGP seriously, and work out the glitches and update the feel usability of it. I am Currently stuck on the “update your profile” prompt as others have mentioned and have abandoned all hope that i can use MotoGP until they come out with a much needed update. They also have a Fantasy this app league option on here that allows you to create or join a league, which sounds amazing. I enjoy playing with our league but sadly this is also an area that could use some improvement and enthusiasm from the creators.

Works nicely enough, although suffers a little from essentially being an iOS/iPadOS app ported over to Mac. Would be nice if formatting would be tweaked to properly fit and fill the computer screen. Most functions for managing account can't yet be done through MotoGP , only on the website. All in all, despite a few formatting glitches, it's nice to have available as an alternative to accessing via the web browser.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. MotoGP works at best, 10% of the time, and that is after spending $130. I am lucky to ever catch a live race because MotoGP constantly crashes moments before the race starts. I’ve tried to provide feedback via email, but that won’t even work. I just keep getting a “something went wrong” message. $130 for an app that doesn’t work - with no other option should MotoGP be down. Total waste of money and wildly frustrating to wake up early for a race to find out MotoGP , yet again, doesn’t work.

This is reviewing the iPhone app, as well as the TV app.

A year or two ago, MotoGP did not work very well. When the race would start, the video would get glitchy.

Now, I turn it on my TV at race time and it works flawlessly. The picture is very clear as well. I think Dorna invested in improving MotoGP and it shows.

Not only does Dorna charge $130 for a subscription, but more than once this 2021 season their servers go down right before the main GP race. Latest one is this weekend’s Silverstone race. Their authentication server locked out I don’t know how many fans 5 minutes before the race. Removing MotoGP , re installing, logging out nothing worked. Those who logged out could not log back in. Dorna rapes us for their coverage.. this is why pirate streams become the alternative. Dorna needs to to get their act together. Write in with nasty emails! Demand partial refunds etc.

One would imagine that having payed not so cheap subscription for the content, you could actually enjoy it. But, noooo, it doesn’t work.. And the message from Dorna: f you are experiencing difficulties to access the VideoPass content with and iOS (Apple) device, please logout and login again, or even reinstall MotoGP before trying to access again.

Logs out frequently and when you log back in the filters which filter out the post-race content is exposed, often revealing the race winner.

It also doesn’t auto refresh content with filters in place, meaning you’ll have to unset filters to update content, again revealing all post race content.

If you tend to watch the race after it has happened, avoid using MotoGP. Otherwise it seems to work well for streaming races and other content.

About two weeks ago MotoGP just stopped working. No updates or fixes - it just does not open so I no longer have “no spoiler” access. While I know Marquez won - it is still frustrating to see it when I go to the website to watch.
I feel I am a subscriber and part of that is to have access to MotoGP and with that not working and no app on my tv - it is becoming obsolete much like the sport.
Truly disappointing Dorna. Not sure how you will get or keep US fans if the basics don’t work well.

MotoGP hardly works, it crashes all the time. The company will not help, I’ve tried contacting them multiple times to get help with their services and I cannot get a response. They will however automatically sign you up for auto renewal and of course their website is broken so I cannot update my preferences or payment info and I cannot get any help from the company so my only option is to cancel the card they have on file. This company is a huge hassle!!!

Dear this app, sadly as always in the beginning of the season application is not giving its maximum ( Rossi’s interview has no audio) !!! a company like this app couldn’t handle- update a tiny app? Or the audio team has screwed up or some other issues?🤔after couple of years of support I allow myself to write it down, I don’t understand why you don’t deliver such a quality as the riders, why is always an issue, technical problem or other disturbing issues?

Charge premium prices and yet can’t watch the races or practices this weekend.

Endless “Response Error - Unexpected response from server” and “An error has occurred on the server. We are working to fix it, sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later.”

The frustrating part is when contacting their customer service they pretend that their is no issue and refuse refund, cancelation or acknowledgment of issues. Yet, everyone on the forums and here experience same issues.

I’m the sucker for signing up again this year hoping things would have improved. This is what you get when DORNA has a monopoly and there are no other providers in the US. I guess it’s time to stop watching this app.

Given the size of the organization and how much you need to pay to have access to the content, I’m still very disappointed with the quality of MotoGP.
Slow to load, the live stream often interrupts and mediocre UX are my main complaints.
Please make MotoGP more iOS like, faster and easier to use.

Qatar Test timing was reflecting 2018 for 2019.

App works much better and is stable. the new time sheet beta format is very good. I wish it had a extra tab next best timing that says top speed for each rider. That will be very interesting and people will really enjoy knowing how comparative the brands they follow are and how reliable.

See the title. The racing and other content is work-class video. MotoGP , as well as the website, are amateurish at best. Expect crashes, incomprehensible navigation, random needs to log in even in one session.

Because I want the content I have to put up with MotoGP , but think hard before you plunk down the usury $$$ annual fee.

This isn’t even an “app”. Terrible design.
I thought the spoiler free option would allow me to enjoy watching the race (not live) without knowing who won first. Wrong. I saved the link for spoiler-free, but it asked me to login. So what happened after I logged in? It redirects back to the home page which shows who won the race. Are you kidding me? Come on guys - MotoGP needs some serious work.

For what we’re paying the product is at times borderline laughable. Frequent logouts, poor organization, clumsy navigation amongst other technical issues. On Roku MotoGP is unusable. Many of the videos fail to play and take you back to the menu without offering any explanation. Love this app but the quality level of this service is absurd.

Frequent crashes. Inexplicable need to re-login and/or restore purchase. Unbelievably frustrating when trying to watch something as spectacular as this app. When everything works the content is second to none and by far worth the exorbitant price.

The last update of MotoGP was a massive upgrade. The video finally works well. Thanks for hiring someone who knows what they are doing.
