Right idea, poor execution

2022-05-27

SNYPR would be great, if it counted consistently. It counts about half of the reps you do on the right hand, but if you switch to the left hand it barely counts any of them at all. I don’t know exactly what triggers a rep to be counted, but from my experience the way to get a rep is only be exaggerating the elbow movement greatly. I think a better system might be to simply teach SNYPR the sound of the ball hitting the wall, and then putting your phone next to the wall and every time SNYPR hears that sound it counts a rep. (Kind of like Face ID, how you train your phone to recognize your face, then every time it sees it it unlocks your phone.) The idea is great, but SNYPR executes it poorly and inconsistently.

Very Annoying

2022-06-28

Every time the apps makes a noise the volume on my phone goes all the way up and destroys my eardrums! The counter is very inaccurate and keeps sending me loud messages to fix my armband but it is in the exact place suggested by the instructions. I counted 100 reps in my own head and it only showed 60 on SNYPR . The idea is good but poorly executed. Hoping for an update that addresses these issues since my coach wants me to use SNYPR to practice.

worst app ever

2022-07-29

thoroughly disappointed with SNYPR. i have to do 15 reps to get it to count 10 reps in my right hand and about 20 to get it to count 10 reps in my left. good concept for an app, but PLEASE make it more accurate for counting. it’s very frustrating when only half the reps you do get counted. especially when i have to do a certain number of reps for my team before a certain time.

Credit card required to register?

2022-08-30

I registered for my 9 year old daughter and was redirected to Synpr’s website to enter my credit card. Really? This just seems so fishy... Even a PayPay option would have been better than having my credit card stored in another hackable location (which is stored who knows where)...

I’m so mad

2022-10-01

App is great so far but I wanted to look at the leaderboard and it told me to ask my parent to fill out a form. I started to fill it out and didn’t think putting in my location and full name was smart but I did it anyway. Then it went to the next part of the form and it told me to put my CREDIT CARD NUMBER but it wouldn’t charge it. Is it a scam because it looked like one. Can customer service please answer my question?!?!?!

Fix Your thing

2022-11-01

My first thing is I can not get in and it said the password was wrong but I just logged in with it and it sill didn’t work. I was here because of cascade and most people are trying to get there reps in to win the helmet but most of us can’t get in because it wouldn’t let us me and all my friends have tried over and over again
Second thing is it would not let me log back in when I just got it to work why does it log you out?

This app

2022-12-03

Would be good if it counted the reps every time like one time I was counting how much reps I did and I did 400 but it only counted 200 and and when I switch to my left hand it barely counts I’ll do 100 hundred on my left and it only counted 20 so if you can fix so it counts every time I would be a great app

Wall ball throw detection

2023-01-03

I had a lot of trouble getting throws to register and they would never register consistently. I generally only got around 4/10 to register. I also found it really annoying that you can’t disable the sounds in any way. I tried turning my volume down and going on silent mode and it still rings loud.

Needs fixing

2023-02-04

I’ve tried so many ways for it to count my wall ball reps but I will count myself to 100 and it gives me 17 but I’m throwing it the same way. Could you add a mic to hear the ball bounce against the wall or maybe have a video option and it counts the times the ball hits the wall?

I don’t like it

2023-03-08

SNYPR was a good idea but like most people I get very frustrated when you do 100 reps and it only counts about 40. It has one range of motion in order for you to get the reps to count and it is just plain out bad. You need to over exaggerate your elbows movement which causes me to have a hard time. Now this was a good idea but what I think the developers should do is have an option to basically record the motion of your throwing technique, then SNYPR can remember it so in the future it will be trained to count off your style other than a wacky way to throw

Great Idea, but only if it worked...🤨

2023-04-06

SNYPR is great but it doesn’t count all of the wall balls that you do. I’ll sit there and and be at 40 reps, I’ll do 10 throws and SNYPR only counts like three of them. This makes me mad because I’ve worked hard to do it but it doesn’t show me that I’ve done it. Other than that I think SNYPR is really cool but overall it just needs some improvements.

It’s great but....

2023-05-08

When I was doing my reps, I was aiming for 1000 and I counted in my head. But when I looked at my phone it was only at 900 or so. I think you have to make a certain movement for it to count one rep. I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.

Very Faulty

2023-06-08

Don’t get me wrong, this is a very useful app. But it does a horrendous job of counting your reps well. I don’t expect perfection, but everyone gets impatient when you do 100 reps and it counts 15. If you don’t have a lot of patience and get frustrated, then DO NOT use SNYPR.

I can’t listen to music anymore

2023-07-10

Every time I get 10 reps the music blast to max volume didn’t have the problem before new update

Good idea, but faulty counting

2023-08-10

I use SNYPR on my lacrosse team, and love comparing my reps with my friends, but almost every time it won’t work, I’ll do 30 reps and it will go to 10 then just stop counting. Also, I third the help menu and it told me to have the home button towards my shoulder, and it already was! It’s not a bad app, it’s a GREAT idea, but it needs some work.

Love it but.....

2023-09-11

I can’t deny I love SNYPR and it works great only misses a few reps but that’s fine. The one thing that does bother me is that when u have headphones in you cannot play music (apple music in my case) and begin the rep counter I don’t know if that’s a problem just for me or if this has happened to other. Keep up the good work!!!

Good but 1 problem...

2023-10-13

SNYPR is very good but it stopped tracking for a couple seconds and I wasn’t aware, so my phone shut off and I lost all 310 reps that I did

Great app!

2023-11-13

I really enjoy using SNYPR to count my reps when I play wallball. It's really simple to use. It dings after every 10 reps and lets you know that you've reached 100, 200, etc. I also like being able to see how my number of reps compares to other peoples in my region or around the world. It doesn't ever count 10 reps as 10 reps, but it gets close. I usually get 10 reps counted at 7 or 8. It's gotten better over time and I believe that it will continue to improve. This is a must-have app for lacrosse players!

Question

2023-12-15

Does SNYPR record you in any way. Like does it record from the camera when you play or take audio from when you play.

Excellent Customer Service!

2024-01-15

My son just started using this app and he loves it! We ran in to a technical difficulty on 1/9, so I reached out to the this app team and asked for help. Not only did they get back to me w/in a few short hours, they had the issue resolved the very same day (which my son was thrilled about).

Thank you this app!!!

Meh

2024-11-17

I have used SNYPR for my tram for about 2 years and the reps are never accurate. Obviously I’m not expecting for it to be exact, but it is VERY off, which is very frustrating for when my team has a certain number of reps to do. Please work on this

Great Idea, Horrible Performance

2024-11-17

I got SNYPR, pumped to get my lacrosse reps in, however it is extremely in accurate. Whenever I’d throw about 25 throws, it would log it as 100. Props on the thought, but not on the performance. Don’t waste your time with SNYPR.

Super useful... if it would load

2024-11-17

Super useful... when it will work. Mine often won’t load. It’s not that it can’t count my reps. It’s that I can’t even get onto SNYPR beyond the this app logo and the spinning wheel of death.

Great app

2024-11-17

Please make this available on the Apple Watch and I’ll change this to 5 stars!!

Not very accurate

2024-11-17

When I use SNYPR I’ll do like 100 and it will count 75 and also when I use it Bluetooth is disabled

Not bad

2024-11-17

Good app just doesn’t me count my reps well and I spent a half an hour doing wall ball and it counted 7 reps

What?

2024-11-17

I was using SNYPR to count my reps while playing wall ball, and it was working fine. After about 900 or so, I noticed that the dinging wasn’t happening anymore, so I looked on my phone. The screen had turned off, which is unusual, because it had not turned off at all while playing the whole 900 reps. I turn my phone back on and went back into SNYPR , and none of my progress had been saved. I am kind of ticked off about this, and I want to know if this has happened to anyone else.
