I have been using the mobile app for a few weeks now. I was originally given a small amount of points towards rewards for joining. It was stated that participants would receive points for completing surveys that can be used to purchase gift cards and other prizes. Unfortunately I never received any points after my initial sign up, even for completing surveys or the daily activities and questionnaires that would often end up on televised news broadcasts or used in nationally syndicated news articles. I submitted feedback with my email hopes of getting an answer if I could fix this, but still have not received a response after two weeks. I’m going to keep YouGov because it’s a qualifying pollster for the US Democratic primaries, but I won’t be participating in the ratings system for brands, lifestyle activities, and celebrity recognition, and subsequently deleting it after the election. I’m not interested in submitting marketing data that companies will use to make money without some kind of compensation.

this app USED to be good, but they no longer send rewards for points redeemed, nor do they think their users are worth any sort of response about it. I answered many surveys to accumulate 100 thousand points to get a $100 bank deposit. I submitted the points on Feb 1st and they said I will have the $ in 2 weeks time. I didn’t get it, so sent an email to ask about it. I did not get a response. I sent a Facebook message. No response. I’ve sent many emails and Facebook messages over the last few weeks. Zero response.

I signed up in a browser and then downloaded YouGov as the safari version has some bugs where I can’t type in to search for an option in the ratings without the page breaking and having to reload it. However now when I try to log in on YouGov it sends a security verification email to my inbox which is fine, I like that my opinions are secure, but without fail every time I click the link in the email to sign in it opens in safari rather than YouGov so I literally can’t get past the log in page. It is entirely unusable and very poorly designed if it can have such an issue. Honestly, trash.

I had downloaded YouGov after it being advertised by a social media influencer. (I will message her after this review to let her know that her name is being tied to a company that doesn’t deliver on their promises as advertised.) After earning points towards a gift certificate, it’s been 5 weeks and three emails to the company with still NO RESPONSE. I honestly think these people are stealing your own personal data with the promise of prizes and gifts for participation to personal surveys that collect info about you and your family. This company is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I get it. We live in crazy times. I’m more than willing to cut certain services a little slack these days, but no response at all? That’s not good. I signed up based on the glowing reviews of other users. Had an issue with the website stating that I live in Canada when I specifically selected the US when creating my profile. I love Canada, but, hey, I’m a New Yorker. I sent an email to CS asking how to fix the issue, etc. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch. I guess I’m not using this specific survey site going forward, which is disappointing since I enjoy taking the politically based surveys. One star & no cookies.

YouGov is designed to get your attention and give you the feel that you will be able to earn serious rewards but then the surveys you can do to earn points slow down and then eventually don’t come at all. Had it for about a month now and I’m no longer getting any surveys. They do have a lot of free questions you can answer but there’s no reward for those. They also made the cash out number so high that you are not likely to see an rewards after a year or two of use. Don’t bother if you are trying to get the rewards.

Well yesterday, July 21st I earned my required amount of points to redeem a gift card. So at that time before I keep participating in surveys, I wanted to see if this survey was legit as to others.
Nonetheless, it proved to not be legit or a bug is the issue. I addressed this to the support team but have not received a response back. Now I have received the opportunity to participate in more surveys but as a responsible thinker, why continue to participate and their end of the bargain is not as promised.
The issue was, as I try and press redeem, the bottom button stay as is. My email address is a iCloud address so if that’s the issue, I have no way of changing the registered email address although good as I receive notifications of surveys, that is not the issue because I could also receive my gift card information.
So in closing, I gave them a 1 simply because I feel as if I was lied to. I honestly answered surveys but now can get compensated for them. So if there is a bug, please fix it. But as of now, I just can’t continue with the surveys and haven’t received my requested confirmation of my chosen redeemed prize. Anybody would think and respond the same way as I am responding.
Thank you, Michelle.

this app used to be good—not so much anymore. When I first started using them a couple of years ago, they offered many more paid survey opportunities. Now, there are far more non-paid “daily questions” and very few paid surveys. In addition, their “opinions” section—which seems to be not at all monitored—is largely a place for bigots to spew their hatred, rather than a forum for thoughtful debate. Lastly, half the time I’ve tried to go into YouGov lately, I have to re-login and do this annoying enter-the-code-we’ve-sent-you-by-email thing. YouGov has become annoying, irrelevant, and not worth my time in terms of trying to make money on surveys. I am deleting it.

I used to be very content with YouGov and the service itself. I once reached 100,000 points and received the $100 after a few days. Now I’m at 100,000 points again, but YouGov won’t let me withdraw anything and just tells me “you are not allowed to perform redemptions”. I’ve been contacting support over multiple email addresses for five weeks now, and haven’t received a single answer. I’m very disappointed that nobody feels obligated to support panel members with account issues. I earned those points through giving a lot of my time to this app and now don’t get the compensation that I was promised. Sad!

It won’t let me get past the 2factor authentication. I contacted support they directed me towards their help article and blamed my internet or my browser I forgot which one. I stopped replying. I have been in IT for 5 years and networking 6. I have gigabit network with no dropped packets, low latency and they are telling me it’s something on my end that causing the problem. I’m giving it 3 stars because I like this app just disappointed that their app doesn’t work.
Edit: so it will let me sign into my alt account, but the main account I want to use it doesn’t even send the 2 factor email too. I didn’t even receive an 2 factor email for my alt account, and have not signed into this app on this device at all! Riddle me that?!

I like this app surveys. But YouGov seems to cause more problems than solutions.
I recently referred a new member to this app but the link on YouGov to get points for that was nowhere to be found.
Even worse, I got a notification that there was a new survey in my email- there was none . I then tried to log into YouGov several times but never got the email link to log in.
Not sure why there needs to be an email link to log in - !! Anyway, I finally had to just rejoin- and lost all of my already earned points! PLEASE restore my points and hive me credit for referring a new user.
Thank you!

I usually take the surveys whenever I’m bored at home. I have been fairly okay with YouGov but have noticed and few things. I’ve noticed that the same surveys and questions are asked over and over again. Another thing that I’ve noticed is that since I’m getting very close to being able to cash in my points I’ve been getting less and less surveys and instead of one survey a day it’s been one survey every two days. If it begins to take longer for these surveys to appear then I will delete YouGov .

I don't usually get any bugs and it normally gives me points after surveys. one suggestion I would make is the ability to type in new entries for the questions like "what music artists do you listen to?" because I think you are missing out on a lot of data this way. for example, I tried to select my favorite band for this question, and even though they are fairly popular they did not show up as an option.

This company has great surveys that are relevant and easy to complete. It is legitimate way to speak your mind and earn a
little money. I just cashed out for 100 dollars bank transfer. Last year I got it in 24 hours. Takes a year to get that much, but always helps at Christmas.

I have been a member of this app since 2005 and it is the best thing the best app and it’s true to form I have collected $100 visa gift cards or direct deposit into my account I can’t tell you howYou how many times. And I have referred others to this site. I will advise you if you join yoga gift complete true and honest answers

Really frustrating when you spend 15 minutes answering questions then, you have to set your phone down for a second and it completely resets. No questions available, all that time you just spent wasted.

I have been doing these for years and I have gotten quite a few gift cards (I wait till I have 100,000 points and get a $100 card; however I just got my next 100,000 points but find that I have to have a bank transfer and not a gift card I was looking forward to: I’m a little angry about that !!

I am in my retirement years and that allows me to look at things and see if there is a different way to viewing things. As a conservative Christian many if the things I see younger people believing in is hard to understand. Some days I see things that are maybe ok and others that are not.

I have used this app since May 2021, it is now July 4th, 2021 and I already got $50 just by doing surveys! YouGov is such a great experience for all and will guarantee you satisfaction. Nothing is more fun than surveys for points, but nothing beats the great feeling of being rewarded for your opinions! It is a great app for people who have common or uncommon opinions, and I’m so happy to be a part of the this app service!

this app has attained such a positive place in my daily activity. I enjoy answering the surveys, and more vitally feel my commitment helps us assess who we are and where we’re headed. The subjects and questions are obviously well thought out. The website is efficient. The rewards are generous. this app has its hands on the pulse of America and the world, and the effort can only help. As for me, I’m glad to be one of the fingers on this app’s hands.

Ive been a this app member for years so when I saw there was an app I was looking forward to using something that wasn’t web based. After multiple tries I still was unable to even get past the sign on screen. YouGov says you need to verify email as the last part of the process but when you receive the verification email, it logs you into the website. So you end up in a non stop loop in YouGov , unable to do the verification step. No thanks. I’ll stick with the website.

It takes a really long time to get points, but it’s legitimate.
However, I took a survey that offered thousands of points for giving your Twitter name and answering questions. I completed it, but I didn’t get the extra points promised. I contacted support, and a week later? No reply. I will definitely think twice before doing that again.
Additionally, it’s been two days and no email to verify app access. Guess I have to delete YouGov .

The new app layout is fine, but you can no longer access Opinions which was one of my favorite parts. I tried finding it on the website and it’s gone there too.
“App support” has never replied to a single email I have sent them in 2 years of using YouGov, so that’s useless.
I do love the daily polls, but you can no longer view answers by age cohort, which is a very important demographic category. So all that makes it pretty crappy.
by Miasereana
In the newest version of YouGov everything is easier to find and use, but the Rewards tab doesn’t exist anymore. All you get is “Check Internet Connection” no matter what. Guess not allowing users to redeem their rewards saves on the budget.

One of my many favorite survey sites. I have cashed out multiple times and it is the best out there. The surveys are kind of short and I enjoy the 2 minute surveys you get asking to thumbs up or thumbs down actors, writers, sports and so on. I enjoy sharing my view on this site and also the political stance about it.
by M2bma
This is my first time trying out a survey app and I must say that I’m impressed. I am able to get notifications on my phone as well as emails. I love taking surveys that “pay out” with points that can be used towards a gift card once you’ve accumulated enough points worth.
by VERY BAD START WITH APP
Unlike many survey related apps, this one is on point. Many start you on a survey but then tell you that you’re not qualified for the survey half way through answering the questions and boom, the survey and your time is over just like that. But this this app survey is great.
by Kohlbits
Five star rating. Easy surveys, relevant. I’ve redeemed several times, this last time I just redeemed the $50 dollar bank transfer. I’ve never had any issues with YouGov . Best survey app so far out there and I have a lot of them 👍🏻
by Irishgal54
Hey if you’re looking for a good survey app. This is the one. It may take time to earn the 25,000 points but it’s worth it. I just redeemed my points and now just have to get the email with the confirmation. So if you want a good survey app this is the one.

I put YouGov on my phone and signed in and all my points went up.. I guess it matters what kind of phone you have.. I have the iPhone 10.
