Three weeks ago my boyfriend and I rented 2 bikes for 3 hours because we wanted to visit the lighthouse, when we got there and we tried to lock the bikes to walk around, we realized that the rusty bike lock didn’t work properly and one of the keys ended up breaking so then we couldn’t unlock one of the bikes. We had to wait for 45 min to get a replacement and then we had to ride very fast to return it before the 3 hours. We ended the rental 3 minutes later and we got charged for extra 3 hours. We have been since then trying to contact the company to refund the money to us due to it wasn’t our fault, they answered the first call and they said it’ll be solved but now they have stoped replying our calls or messages. I would not use this again and also I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use

It was pretty easy to rent the bike and unlock it and start going, and we all came back to end the rental at about 55 minutes. Movatic said 0-1 hour was free, so we were expecting it to be free since it was under an hour. But when we tried to lock the bike or end the rental, it refused to work for any of the 4 people we were with. All of us but 1 had iPhone 12s so it wasn’t like our phones or connectivity was the problem. We noticed that after the hour had passed, every one of our bikes locked and we were able to end the rental but since it was over an hour we all got charged the extra $3. So basically it was a scam as it waited until we had to pay to rent for over an hour to end the rental. I would not use this again as we should have not had to pay since we all parked our bikes and tried to end at about 50-55 minutes in and had to wait until we got charged for renting over an hour.

Movatic does not work well. I returned a bike a few days ago. Locked it into place and then clicked end rental in Movatic . It would not register that the bike was returned. I made sure the bike was securely locked and tried again several times with no luck. Over the past few days now Movatic sends me notifications warning me that I have a bike checked out. Until this issue is fixed I will not use this service.

Please fix those bikes outside of the leasing office soon. For people who don't have cars, they are essentials to us to go to grocery etc. Thank you.

If you face the leasing office, among the six bikes, the three on the right hand sides never worked. Because they are under the shadow, the scanner can never get the signal of Movatic . I am sure you have the data to show the low usage. The issue has been there since the beginning of the program. Is not acceptable that you don't monitor and fix proactively.

Among the left three bikes, they all have issues - chairs are moving left and right nonstop, handle are moving in and out nonstop, the speed change is broken, the hand area was assembled upside down, the chair was stuck and couldn't move at all and more. We tried to still use them when necessary but is very dangerous, annoying and inconvenient. The issues have been there for weeks and getting worst every day. Please fix right away. A good program is not just "we have it", is about ongoing maintenance. If you ever spend ten mins to check it every two weeks, you will know immediately that those bikes are broken.

Movatic seems to work one time when I use it and then it doesn't work the next time. Doesn't seem there is a lot of product testing that happens before a release to ensure new functionality doesn't impact existing functionality. Before they continue to extend functionality to things other than bikes they need to get bikes dialed in.

When this system works, it works. But it’s basically a coin toss whether a bike will successfully unlock. Sometimes several racks will be totally down, sometimes it takes several minutes to connect to a bike, or just as long to find out that the bike will never unlock.

I want to love this system but it is just not reliable enough yet.

Everything was great except the lock part. Once you unlock it it gets stuck on the screen and doesn’t register that it’s been unlocked right away.

I dropped my car off to replace my tires and did not have a way home. I remember reading about a new App based bike rental in town. Movatic was easy to install and the bike easy to rent. The bike was decent and has 7 gears, a basket, bell and kickstand. Over all a good experience. I gave 4 stars because the first bike ride rented had a flat tire and another one had trash in the basket. Not sure who is taking care of bikes. I would rent again.

Can’t beat the price, but be advised there are no gear shifters. After a 16 mile bike ride you’re gonna feel it; I don’t care how in shape you are lol. Take it easy out there✌️

Whenever I try and rent it just says please enable Bluetooth but I have verified I have Bluetooth enabled

Update: deleted Movatic and redownloaded it now it works

It’s very useful and very convenient and the fact that is close to my house makes it even better.

We enjoyed our impromptu bike ride after lunch! My only suggestion is to allow more than one rental per person since some riders may be minors who are riding with parents.

Thanks for making the trip easy. Took the bike from downtown to uptown and back in a flash. Highly recommend!

We stumbled across carmel bike share when walking on the Monon and it was the best way to explore the area! Two hours of fun and exploring for less than $8. Highly recommend

Using Movatic to unlock the bikes was easy, I had to try to unlock 2 different bikes at first (1st bike wasn’t unlocking easily idk why) but I got finally got it. I rode as far as I could and had a wonderful time on the greenway trail

This is really amazing. This bike service is freaking realistic, I put my phone up to the bike lock. Automatically opened up. Knowing that my bike is safe & sound while I’m having a good time with family downtown. Great job who ever came up with this idea!

Just took a spin and it was super easy to use. Careful that you return the bike a couple minutes ahead of time or it will charge you for another hour. You have to clock out on Movatic also, not just lock up the bike.

Uber was going to take two minutes but then was delayed 40 minutes. I went download Movatic upload my information got my bike rental rode the bike from one checkpoint to the next check back in cost me $1.50. I got exercise and I got within a half mile of my house overall very easy to use and because of my location is very easy for me to get access to.

I had a blast riding in Blue Ridge on my fun bike! I was kind of bored of hiking. Movatic was easy to download and use. It’s took a only a few minutes. And I was off enjoying the mountain trail. It was like a fun rollercoaster! I would suggest a helmet for younger or older riders. Blue ridge bikes made my vacation!

Once you add an email account to Movatic you cannot change it any more. I need to change this because I am trying to join a private group and I have to use my work email account if I want to be accepted. In addition, I cannot recreate a new account since my phone number is link to this account. Not a great app.

The UX is super unfriendly. I and my families couldn’t figure out how to use it. Have you ever tried for the first time when you are at the location? The nothing shows on the map, what’s the call to action? It took us and entire leasing office staff to spend thirty mins to use the UX and find out how to sign up to submit for approval. UX designer, a real one, please hire one or fire your current one.

Easy to use and easy to do. We will see if any charges come back from the comp they gave me. The bicycle was good for cruising. Most cars watched out for me so not bad place to ride.

Some bikes need a lot of air and some screws are lose on other bikes. Definitely need to checked more often.

Didn’t have to wait in line to get a bike from concierge. Was able to rent on my own. Very efficient. Great experience!

Took my 85 year old father for a walk. We found the bikes. Dad loves bikes! But transporting bike is not so easy. The bikes are 7 speed and worked great. Thank You

My apartment complex got these bikes for residents to use for free with the this app app. It’s easy to use and the bikes are good quality and provide a smooth ride.

Comfy, cute and care free! Rode several miles all over Miami Beach and had no troubles at all. My bike was the envy of all the other bike rentals out there, I have to say.

It was great but this bike when you change gears kept skipping and wouldn’t stay in a gear.

Nice, easy to use bikes. Check out and return were easy as well. Nice lunchtime break!
