This is beyond frustrating! I keep getting in app notifications that say “You are approved for $100 advance, accept it when you need it” so I try to accept it and every time. It says “Your Wells Fargo account is not eligible. Please connect a different account.” So, it approved me with that account but it’s not eligible to receive the approved amount? Umm yea ok. The account was sure eligible for them to take their monthly fee out of. I think it’s a scam. They tell you you’re approved to get you to pay the monthly fee to qualify for cash advance then once you pay the fee and try to accept, suddenly your account isn’t eligible. Wow

I can't accept my cash advance it keep saying An unexpected error occurred

My payment came out today instead of 3/21.

It says "Unrecognized property exception - bad request error" and I have tried it like 15 times today to request a loan from my 401k

I try to draw money off my app and it says unexpected error.

I cant find the app on the play store anymore

Just discovered that since September, my wife and I's social security payments are not transferring from our bank account. It appears that everything else is transferring OK.

The app stopped working with my credit union after 2 advances. Funny thing is it didn't stop working until after they got their money back. Seems suspicious to me.

I have been using empower for the past 3 months and everything worked great now when I try to get an advance it's telling me I need to update my bank account because it can't be used as a primary account

Empower was linked to my bank and was working great. The past 2 times I tried for an advance and a message is telling me that I have to link a different bank account? How can this happen. I use the same bank and it always worked. Please help. Thank you

My empower app won’t open

Empower keep showing that I have unread messages. I have read all messages

After enter the card associated with my Flushing Bank account - I rcv a status message which says " I must enter the card associated with my paycheck from my institution

The app said it needs an update but it keeps showing an error in Google Play. App won't open at all.

Invalid confirmation Won't let me get advance

I get between 500 and 600 dollars direct deposited into my Dave banking account weekly on Thursdays and that account is the only one linked to my empower account and it worked fine for months, I used every week paying back and getting increased a little more each time. So, out of the blue- less than 1 month ago, i had payed off like a 125 dollar advance I think and the next day or so when I checked it, my advance amount had dropped down to like 25 bucks or something crazy. Checking back that afternoon it had gone up to like 75 and then the next day around 1 it was at 125. Thought about accepting it but really needed 150 or even 200 so held off. Late that night into the next morning it had DROPPED down to like 25 bucks and I was like wtf? It stayed like that until I checked it again that evening and it was back at 125 so I took it immediately lol, I didn't wanna miss my chance again apparently... So frustrating bc I depended on reborrowing that amount or more right back and repaying again next week as was my established pattern for weeks by then. This has been the 4th or 5th weeks doing this now but nothing changed on my end and I wanna know why?? What can I even do to get the legendary 250 amount lol? Seems sketchy at this point and I wonder how many actually are ever approved to get the full 250 each week 🤔

Empower will not let me update my bank information. They are added to my bank but they keep saying it’s the bank. I’m tired of their crap I’m deleting!

Any time I try to withdraw my advance, it gives me an error message stating the server is unavailable and to try back later. It's been doing this for 4 days. I've tried clearing data/cache and reinstalling, still nothing.

Hello I have used empower for awhile now with no problems but a day ago it said I needed to update account connection and when I try it says institution not supported? my advance payment & member fee came out of my account yesterday but it’s saying it can’t connect? How is that even possible?

Empower will not let me pay my fee! I know this is a weird thing but it freezes on the pay back swcth. It doesn't even give me a "pay back" choice anymore. Am I doing something wrong? Is this an "on purpose" type of thing about not letting me pay?
