Worst Cleaning Service Ever

I have used this app twice now. The first time using this app I did the this app + for 2.5 hours of cleaning for $90. Extreme waste of time and money. My cleaner left way before she was scheduled to and said she had completed everything. Well, sad to say she did not complete everything and the things she did do were sub par. I had to go back over everything and do it myself. I contacted this app to tell them of my experience and they offered to give me a $90 credit to try their services again. The second time I had a much better cleaner, but I was supposed to receive this cleaning for free (my $90 credit) which I emailed ahead of time to confirm would be applied to my cleaning. Today I noticed they charged me the $90 for the second cleaning. The most annoying part is they have no phone numbers or over the phone customer service so I have to spend my time emailing back-and-forth with their concierge. I do not recommend this cleaning service or app as it is a complete waste of time.

Unprofessional scam

The cleaner literally moved a few objects around and nothing was cleaned. I talked to support and they offered a 55$ credit to have someone come back. I had already paid $160, I wasn’t about to throw more money at their business. The said I could buy “insurance” next time in case there is an issue. That sounded ridiculous. Why should I have to pay for insurance to make sure their company did what they were paid for? Sounds like a scam.
The cleaner was super unprofessional. I asked him to communicate via text but he continuously called me at work to tell me he couldn’t get all the work done. (My house wasn’t that dirty, I thought maybe he was just stressed..but no he literally didn’t do any cleaning. No vacuuming, the toilet was still dirty, the surfaces in dusted). What a waste of money. I hired them because they were available the same week, I should’ve realized why they weren’t booked out as far out as the other companies.

Housekeeper Didn’t Clean, Sat on Phone

Paid for 1 person to clean for 4 hours @$135. Went through our home after she “cleaned” and noticed whole sections untouched, ie showers still have pink tile scum and dirt on the floors, toilets uncleaned, floors not vacuumed, dust balls still found in corners, empty trash cans and in kitchen unmoved and found lint behind them, kitchen table untouched (neither the chairs nor underneath/still crumbs/dust/dirt remaining). Had to clean ourselves, because we had guests coming, after having paid $135. By far the worst “cleaning” we have ever had of any company. Complained to customer service and sent pics of issues and their only response was an automated reply saying we could “blacklist the cleaner”, so she does not come back again. Does not fix the issue. Sent another email repeating all details and the company’s response was that we should have purchased insurance with pictures in order to get a refund???? Not sure why we should pay extra to get a job done. I am not saying it needs to be perfect, but at least do what we paid for. I recently read other customer reviews and this seems to be a common problem, ie cleaners not showing up and issues with customer service etc. Will never use this app again.

SCAM!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I tried this company and they have been nothing but problems. There is no customer service line to call when you have issues, you can only email them. I made the mistake of hiring this company to clean my house at the beginning of June. On June 11 they charged my account a $75 to hold my time slot for June 21st. June 21 comes around and 20 minutes before my appointment is supposed to happen I get an alert from their app that my scheduled housekeeper is canceling my appointment. They give the option to request another housekeeper for a same day, I go with it. No housekeeper shows up. I’m now in the process of trying to get my $75 backs as I don’t want their services any longer. They are unreliable and I’ve found someone else that can do my house for less and sooner. I’ve been emailing them back and forth for several days and they keep saying I won’t be charged for the visit. I check my bank account multiple times a day waiting to see my money pending in the account. We are now going onto June 24th and am still arguing with the company about the June 11th charge on my account. I advise all to never use this company. They are appearing to be a scam to get your money and not preforming services that were paid for

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

My husband and I utilized this app twice, we should have learned from our first experience. We schedule a Sunday morning 9:30am cleaning the first time. Their most expensive package with two housekeepers. At 9:00am we get a message saying one housekeeper isn’t coming so they will either only charge us 50% or we can have a credit for later use. We decided to go with one cleaner. She was just ok but there was no way she could complete the task of the house. We decided to give it a go again. This time on a Wednesday afternoon. My husband left work early to be available. Our clean up time was for 3:30... you guessed it at 3:00pm we get the dreaded email only one housekeeper is coming and they didn’t even give us the option to cancel the service! We don’t want a half clean house. And the fact that both of the emails came like clock work 30 mins prior to the scheduled time means they knew the 2nd housekeeper wasn’t coming and waited to notify us. This time the reason was, “you cleaner doesn’t service that area anymore.” It seems as though that is clearly something the service new well before 30 mins prior to the appointment. I will never use TIDY again and will make sure no one I know bothers wasting their time!

Horrible Cleaning Service - don’t bother using them

If you want to book cleanings but love people canceling last minute every single time, this app is the best company for that. In the last 2 months I booked 3 cleanings. The first time the cleaner canceled last minute due to a family emergency. That wasn’t a problem for me because I understand things like that happen. I rescheduled and a new cleaner even texted me saying she was on the way. She no showed. I contacted the company and they gave me a $10 credit. I then attempted to book another cleaner and 30 minutes before the time the cleaner was to arrive I get another cancellation. This company has been an extreme disappointment as of late. I used to use them when I was living in Los Angeles and had no issues with cancelations or no shows. I actually was happy with their service so I thought it would be fine to use them again. After moving to Phoenix, AZ my experience with this company has been horrific. I’m done using them and I strongly advise everyone to not use them. This company should go out of business. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere.

Incredibly disappointing

I understand that every cleaner is different and you take a risk with the human element of the process when booking a cleaning, but the “cleaner” did not complete a single item on my to do list. I had to completely re-clean both of my bathrooms because of how poorly done the job was. When I tried to dispute this with the company, I was offered a credit for another service, but due to the terrible work the first time around, I requested a refund instead. Each time I have tried to contact the “support” team, I receive a scripted email telling me to open a dispute (which I’ve already done), and no other way to contact a real person to discuss a refund. I would never recommend this service to anyone and highly suggest booking a cleaning elsewhere.

Would not recommend

While the actual cleaning services I’ve received from various cleaners has been fine, I’m not a fan of TIDY and probably will not continue to use it. First of all, there is no warning or even mention on their app about being charged a late cancel fee. I have been charged several times, and only realized after looking at my credit card statement. They did refund me the late fees charged, but only as a credit on their app, and they weren’t nice about it. My second problem is that, while they are evidently strict with users cancelling, they are not strict with their contractors cancelling. I had someone cancel 30 min before an appointment. You would think I’d receive a call or text, but they only send an email with no solution, not even an apology. Their customer service needs a lot of work in my opinion.

Please look for another service....

I booked a house cleaning within 24 hours they assigned an individual for the cleaning which I was comfortable with and without notification was switched to somebody else so I canceled. I received no communication from them and the worst part is they took 50% of the cleaning fee to pay the girl that they assigned for 10 minutes via TIDY . Nobody came to my house or even cleaned and there’s no way for me to get a refund. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from TIDY it may seem convenient but you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into. Whoever owns this company is an absolute thief and a coward for stealing people and not performing services. The only eligible amount that I am able to use is 1/2 of what I paid. Apparently assigning a cleaner for 5 to 10 minutes is appropriate and taking over $60. I will advise all of my friends and family that currently use this to stop. It is 2019 people need to start having ethical business practices and I will not stand for it.

No one shows up!

After a horrible first experience that resulted in me not getting my house cleaned and this app charging my credit card all kinds of fees, I decided to give them a second chance. I am in a pinch and have this one day to get my house cleaned. “Claudia” agreed to my Friday at noon appointment just over a week ago. Thursday at 6:30pm she decided she can’t clean my house and is going on vacation. So now someone else is being sent at 2:00. If she shows up… I get to waste me whole day off now either cleaning myself in anticipation of another last minute cancellation or I get my house cleaned a few hours later and my day is still shot but at least the house is clean. I left several alternative times despite not being convenient for me. Last time I didn’t and just kept getting canceled on. I even upped the service this time to a $150 cleaning to make it worth their while for an hour and a half or whatever it is. Customer service is slow and aren’t keen to solve issues, especially not in a timely manner. You can’t call them you can only message and wait. I have a small house and they don’t even have to clean one of the rooms and one of the baths. It’s a cake job for the person! Ugh do not recommend

SHAMEFUL

I was going to go on this tremendous rant about how bad they are but I got side tracked and put that energy into my review over the cleaning, well attempted cleaning...actually, if we are being straightforward there was NO effort at all.
If there was a way to post pictures to show you how half assed some of the cleaning jobs are there’s NO way you would bother with this service. I’d say maybe 1 of every 4 cleanings is up to snuff.
This morning was not half-assed it was downright neglectful. Because of past cleanings I wanted to have verbal confirmation with the cleaner upon her arrival this morning as to what is on their list to clean and the manner in which they do it just so I know what to expect.
Welp, it turns out that conversation must have made her want to sit on my couch and watch Netflix which explains why the Apple and TV controllers weren’t organized and out of place from where I left them the night prior.
Anyways I’m getting off track and this is turning into the effort towards a review I DIDN’T want to administer but I hope this shows my frustration for this service and I highly recommend you guys look elsewhere for another cleaning service.
DISCLAIMER: IF YOU DO go forward with this service have a mop and a broom at the front door because you’ll likely have to do it yourself when you get home from work. Cheers!

Unreliable

This review is based off my experience scheduling this app for 1 hr to help clean an AirBnb. The housekeepers have all been great when they show up- friendly and fast working. Unfortunately, there are cancellations ALL the time. Sometimes I have guests checking out and in on the same day (4 hr window to turn over), so cancelling last minute really puts me in a jam. I also can’t browse for a substitute cleaner until the scheduled time has passed even though I can see that the housekeeper cancelled. They almost never provide a substitute. Lastly, housekeepers that have cancelled on me 3 or 4 times always get scheduled with me again and I can’t weed them out unless they’ve cleaned the place at least once. Be warned if you are a property manager, you’ll definitely be cleaning the place yourself on many occasions.

Be prepared to not have housekeepers show up, but you’ll be charged $40 to cancel within 24 hours.

We had several months worth of cleanings every two weeks, and 9/10 turned out great. Due to the human element, there were a few cleaners who just did not clean as thoroughly as others. All in all, the times they actually showed up, they got the job done. My problem is with the company and their policies regarding cancelling and being cancelled on. I had several instances where cleaners would confirm that they would clean, even report that they were on the way, and then cancel minutes before they were supposed to start, or not show up without any warning. After reading the fellow reviews, this seems to be a common issue. Again, I want to be as understanding as possible of the human element. this app attempts to reschedule the clean, but I never had this work out. Only once, after I reached out to them about this causing our household issues, did they offer a $10 coupon to our account. Yet, when I cancelled a clean about 24 hours ahead of time, I was charged $40. Not only that, but there is no warning that you’ll be charged on TIDY . The discrepancy between these numbers didn’t sit well with me, considering how many times I had been hung out to dry last minute by the cleaners irresponsibility.

No one will show up ..

I booked a 4 hr cleaning with Tycoria only to receive a message the time of the appointment that she is “taking time off”. I rescheduled and of course, again, stripped the bedding and got everything ready only to receive a message at the time of the appointment again from Nicole stating they could not come due to a family emergency. I requested a back up as I really needed the help and never got any response, only that they would be searching for someone. Of course, no one came. To top it all off they charged me fees for cancellation and took my credit away from the first cancellation in which they did give back, but a portion of the returned money was returned to the credit portion and not my payment method. Once again, they did fix it but it just has been a bad experience start to finish. I gave them 2 stars because I like TIDY /the idea of this but it’s just a shame they can’t get anyone to actually show up.. now I have a $50 credit on my account and I don’t even care to use it.

Satisfied Customer

We’re moving and needed someone to come help us clean up. I couldn’t find anyone and decided to try this app. I love that I was able to book someone the day before. The day of the cleaning was hectic and things did not go as planned. I tried to call and message Teresa through TIDY , but was not successful. Teresa showed up on time and I asked her if she could come back in an hour. We were so glad that she was able to come back. In the end, she did a great job of cleaning up the house for us. If we were not moving out of the area, I would use her again.

Tidy cleaning with Carly

I’ve been cleaning homes for almost 20 years and love what I do. Some home owners would say that I take pride in my work and it shows in my cleaning. this app has helped grow my business by allowing me to keep my current customers as well as adding new ones to join. They take the hassle of the payments and scheduling off my plate but still let me control my rates and schedule which is a huge relief. When I see a job added to my schedule for the day I’m motivated to go to work and impress my clients that way I see them on my schedule as a repeat client in the future. The biggest compliment is a client that leaves me a review and one that comes back to book another cleaning.

After reading the negative reviews, I was really nervous, but I needed a next day cleaning before a dinner party and decided to take a chance. I have now had my second cleaning and I am very happy with this service.

Maybe because I live in a major city with a large labor pool, I have not had problems with no-shows. My assigned housekeeper texted me the morning of, then showed up right on time and did a thorough job. Same thing for cleaning 2. TIDY assigned me a different cleaner for the second one, but I was able to check availability of the first lady and select her again since I know she did a great job. I like how TIDY lets you “favorite” or “blacklist” a cleaner and also add options for alternate times of your fave cleaner has a conflict.

I’d recommend this to anyone in Houston, but I do believe the negative reviews as well since every city is different. Some people are flakes and TIDY can’t magically weed them out in advance.

SO, if you are wanting to take a chance on TIDY, do what I did... put the form of payment as a major credit card and if you have a crappy experience or a bunch of no-shows, dispute the charge with your bank and they will just reverse the charge. LucKily I haven’t had to use this option so far. GOOD LUCK!

First off, I would just like too say every other cleaning company I have ever hired came to my home and cleaned, but when they left… It looked like nothing was even moved, touched or even dusted. I paid $300 just for nothing! Now when i looked online I was still skeptical but i needed someone who was professional and actually going too take care of my issues and CCCleaning services did just that!!! I mean i really felt like my home was a complete different home when i arrived, too the point where I even made a call too my cleaner and thanked her and I wanted too review her ASAP (I never leave reviews btw). So yeah, look her that company on TIDY you will not be disappointed I guarantee you, if you want a difference too be made then this is the company too call!
