This is only my second time trying to use Riide. The first time I used it the cab took about half an hour to get to my location. So when I saw that it had a prebook feature, I decided to prebook my next ride to avoid the long wait and the possibility of arriving late at my destination. So I prebooked a ride a whole day in advance and even selected a pickup time. The time came went and there was no car. It kept saying that it was getting me a car for more than 20 minutes after my pickup time... then it charged me a $5 cancellation fee when I cancelled due to the fact that it had taken too long and there was still no ride in sight. I tried contacting them but that to was impossible. No email and the phone number is a UK number; which I called but was told that the number was not in service.

I honestly am trying to be patient and nonjudgmental with interaction with this application and personal experience utilizing the "services"; however it is of my opinion that there is a HUGE deficit in COMMUNICATION and meeting the expected results. The "must haves", "needs", "severity", and "priorities" have been clearly defined and reported, and based on comparative comments and reviews whom ever is doing the tracking are capturing the details are almost certainly spot on. The major deficits are in the "service level performance and overall delivery of service", because the end user is not efficiently nor effectively achieving successful results. Continued mismanagement, lack of communication, and disregard will surely prove and continue to be a objectives dividing the balance between Cost+Benefits vs Waste+Ineffective Infrastructures.

I scheduled a ride to go to the pharmacy after having surgery, my driver showed up 10 minutes early, helped me and my walker out of the house and drove me to the pharmacy. The driver was kind and courteous and helped me get out of the cab along with my walker. I will definitely recommend them as well as use them again.

Been using it for a bit now and I'm very happy with it! The drivers have always been polite and professional.

I prebooked a cab using Riide because it’s what the website of the cab company I’m used to booking through had me do. When the driver arrived the next day he was complaining how he had to come from across town and take a toll road to get to me. When the ride was complete he had me pay with my credit card even though I prepaid. He assured me if I got double charged he would clear one of those transactions out later in the day. He never did. Don’t waste your time and money with this one

Booked a taxi to take my girlfriend home so I could have a drink instead of drive her home myself. Half an hour later (after said drink!) the taxi driver phoned and said the cost would be £85, instead of the £55 Riide had said. Talk about bait and switch!! 😤 He said it was because he was starting in Oxford and would have to drive to my house first. There is absolutely no reason Riide could not have calculated that - I clearly stated the pick up and drop off points. This would absolutely not have happened with Uber. Appalling service.

I tried to input my home address in Riide and it wouldn’t recognize it. I did the same thing when just setting a destination, and that didn’t work, either. I’m sure Riide could be useful, but I literally can’t use it if I can’t even input my address. It’s a good idea in theory for those with social anxiety related to calling to scheduling pickups; if only it worked.

On may different occasions I have booked a ride and Riide will tell me my driver is 1 min away, it will say that for 30 minutes till I cancel my ride. Honestly I think it’s a scam because if you cancel while the driver is 3 minutes away or less you get charged. Riide was a good idea but it’s not very reliable and I haven’t been able to take the last 8 rides I’ve tired to book.

They start with a fake view of many drivers nearby and a low price, only to reveal after you “accept” that their are no nearby drivers, the wait will be 45+ minutes and the cost is double the estimate.

Total bait and switch garbage! Wish I could give negative stars.

I registered for an account and every time I tried typing something in I kept getting pop ups (at least 15 in a three minute time span) saying “Oops, something went wrong” and when I tired to search or add a home address, same notification.

Every time I prebook a ride from Riide there always late every single time it’s so aggravating trying to get to work or appointments with Riide

One of the worst parts of travel is how do I get to the airport at the right time? Riide takes away that stress with the prebook option and letting you choose which type of cab you’d like to book. Will use again.

The cab smelled horrible, the driver liked to argue, and the fare was over $10 more than Riide said!! Sticking to lyft and Uber from now on!

Absolutely horrifying. A confusing mess that doesn’t work. Don’t even bother.

Driver went to wrong address. I was left stranded.

I ordered a cab but Riide sent it to the wrong location. The driver canceled and told me to contact dispatch. Riide has no way to contact anyone for recourse. This is an absolute scam. I have now been charged a $7 cancelation fee, but I was the one begging the driver to pick me up at the correct address.I am going to make it a mission to put these crooks out of business. Deserves zero, but ratings won’t allow that.

One of the drivers for this company recklessly cut me off almost hitting my front passenger side, only turning on his signal as he did it. When I honked he waved his middle finger out the window at me. Unprofessional, dangerous driving in rainy weather, his car number was 510 and it was a white van. Would never use this company after that >:-|

The only thing cabs have going for them over ride sharing is that scheduling in advance, I think we can all agree on that.

I scheduled a ride 4 days in advance with Riide. Time for pickup: ‘no cabs available’ ... this actually happened!

Closed app, opened Lyft. Seriously don’t waste time with this, at all. Job well done ‘this app’

As usual I booked my taxi in advance. As usual, I got updates as to the location of my taxi and it’s progress towards my home. As usual, the taxi arrived a few minutes early, loaded our luggage and had a nice ride to the airport. I have used Alexandria Yellow cab for 30 years and they have always been on time. The set the standard!!
