Frequent crashes and undelivered messages

Still seeing frequent application crashes and often having messages undelivered with no ability to fix. The overall performance from China is very poor and unreliable on mobile. I wish there was a way to run a troubleshoot to measure performance and check diagnostics and logs of client so I could see what is wrong

Still broken for HSBC - no option to reply to messages

Doesn’t work on iPad

When I try to run this on my iPad, messages download but whenever I try to respond, it slows down to a crawl.

Essentially, you type 3 works, then wait 3 minutes while the characters slooooowly populate. Then you observe which characters got dropped along the way, and you spend 15 seconds trying to move the cursor (since that also has a lag) to add them back in.

In 7 minutes of use, I managed to type out a single message to a colleague. Over that 7 minutes, I lost 10% of my brand new iPad Pro’s battery life.

I’ll wait for the next version before trying to reopen SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry.

Crashes on iOS 14

After upgrading to iOS 14, every time I try to launch SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry , it crashes after a few seconds. I need SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry to stay connected to work. I’m surprised this wasn’t tested using the developer preview of the new OS, and it’s unacceptable that it’s still not fixed now.

Badge notification bug

I still get badge notifications for chats I have muted. This has been ongoing for more than 2 years. Please fix this.

Buggy

Stutters every five seconds, plus having to log in via the work app every single time is incredibly annoying. Would prefer SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry stand on its own two feet

Crashes everytime

Not enough fail safe is built. It crashed 20 times already regardless of deleting and re-installing SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry .

Crashing on ios14+

Symphony was working great until my phone upgraded itself to ios14. Now it crashes on startup. ios14.1 is out now and symphony still hasn’t been updated/fixed.

Incompatible with iOS 14

User beware, still not iOS 14 compatible. App will run for about 10 seconds then just close. Every. Time. Inexcusable not to be compatible with latest iOS version.

Barely loads...so slow

SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry is practically unusable...and the time it takes to load messages is annoying

Requires Blackberry Work for Authentication

The mobile app seems like a kludge that is tacked on to BlackBerry Work, which I no longer even use.

Crashes on iOS 14

Are there any plans to fix this? After installing iOS 14 SymphonyMessagingBlackBerry launches and then just closes

Can’t see people’s status

Desktop can see everyone’s status, but the mobile version cannot

Unstable, but it may be usable

At first, it only seemed to work in two ways: Crash or Hang. So many choices......how do I pick?

Several hours later, it mysteriously worked.

Maybe someone read my earlier gripes?

I’ll update this as I continue to unwillingly “beta test” it, as it were.

Needs iPad Trackpad Support

App works fairly well, but there is some strangeness when a trackpad is used, for example, to click an chat in the left column. It may take several clicks to select, or may not work at all, and then the highlight state is inconsistent. However, if you use your finger to tap the same chat item, it selects the chat as expected.
