Apparently I'm the only reviewer... Why? Because you can't do anything with BlackBerryAtHoc unless your enterprise has deployed AtHoc's larger system.

AtHoc's website and expo booth describe the many cool things one might do. Instead of $17k on one conference show, I suggest AtHoc spends a few grand on a server and its own service. Then AtHoc could offer this free app's users (i.e. potential customers of AtHoc's flagship enterprise system) a demo of just what AtHoc can do. With such a demo I'd raise my 1-star rating. And I suggest AtHoc would increase sales.

Don't bother with BlackBerryAtHoc it won't notify you of anything except maybe ONE weekly test notification.

So we had to download BlackBerryAtHoc for COVID-19 updates or status report for the base, always got authentication errors, been doing it for the last 4 hours consecutively just trying it, out of 29 people my account can’t seem to go through, tf, I can’t go to sleep unless this is done!!? How tf do u expect me to fix this????!!!!!!!

When you open an alert, it makes a loud annoying siren sound. It doesn’t matter whether your phone is in silent mode or not. It doesn’t make the sound to ALERT you, only makes it when you’ve already opened the alert which makes no sense. Please turn off the siren!!!

Why, oh why, does BlackBerryAtHoc not give the end user the ability to delete notifications that are no longer relevant? In this day and age, not giving the end user that simple ability makes this entire app useless due to all the clutter. Please consider adding this one function.

There are notifications I have acknowledged, but I can’t delete them or mark them as done. So BlackBerryAtHoc shows there are new notifications

App badge is set (count is wrong) but no notifications in Notification Center or sounds. Open BlackBerryAtHoc and items are in inbox.

First thing you have to do after install is register. No problem, used work email. Still waiting for the confirmation email after 5 hours.

The authentication process needs to be fixed. It shouldn’t take 20 times to get into BlackBerryAtHoc . Please fix this problem and BlackBerryAtHoc might get a better review.

Absolute pain getting registered. Waste of my time. I was really hopeful because it sounded like a great idea however I kept getting errors registering with the code given to register. Then I was instructed to use a different email and couldn't load the register page from my work computer. Spent way too much time trying to figure this out....

Complicated registration process that often results in errors. Alerts still come through after app is uninstalled.

While alert announcement notifications show up on the apple watch, the only option is to dismiss the notification, and without acknowledgement the ad his system continues with follow up phone calls, etc, which are redundant after notification.

App crashes with iOS update 14.2

BlackBerryAtHoc works decently enough for its intended purpose but it feels like something you’d find on an original iOS device. The biggest feature shortfall I’ve come across so far is that it doesn’t allow users to connect to multiple organizations. That single change would dramatically increase utility...

My employer contracts with AtHoc for emergency notifications. When the system works, it works well, with timely notifications. I requested notifications to BlackBerryAtHoc, several phone numbers and email addresses. Not every notification is delivered every time. I do not know if that is an app issue or an AtHoc issue

BlackBerryAtHoc works great, however it only works if your organization has the backside system in place. I use BlackBerryAtHoc to receive and acknowledge notifications applicable to my organization, which is what it was designed to do. The backside system holds the ability to push notifications, etc. and will push notifications to all of your registered devices/means of contact (email, text via cell phone, BlackBerryAtHoc, etc.) Once the event is cleared in the backside system, the notifications will be deleted. Again, BlackBerryAtHoc is used to receive notifications and report accountability as pushed by the backside system, which it does very well.

When used as a part of a corporate mass notification system BlackBerryAtHoc works flawlessly. Of course having an enterprise system in place before having BlackBerryAtHoc will work wonders for its usefulness. BlackBerryAtHoc is for emergency personnel, first responders, or any other emergency related field that uses the AtHoc Corporate Mass Notification System.
