I used dictanote for less than an hour approximately one year ago and was grossly dissatisfied with the service. I cancelled dictanote several months ago. I am still being charged $4.00 a month for a service I have not used in over a year. I am requesting again to discontinue this service.

How to fix Dictation app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Dictation app on iPhone
Update Dictation app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Dictation iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Dictation on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Dictation network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Dictation Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Dictation not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Dictation App
1. On android, goto Settings » Dictation » click [Force Stop]

Update Dictation to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Dictation App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Dictation » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Dictation.

Fix Dictation unable to contact server/ Dictation internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Dictation » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Dictation » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Dictation
