This seems to have been happening for about two months now. Content starts (albeit slowly), so presume it is building up a buffer, and then just stops. Never starts up again.

Not a useful player of media if it stops.

I love SonosTube so much. I wish you would work better. I used it often to play sleep ambience videos for sound. Seems like most of the videos won’t sync up or won’t stream anymore. I’ve tried so many videos and only a couple work. They look like they’re going to start streaming but they just sit there forever hanging.

When I first got it, it worked pretty well. Pretty quickly your trial ends and you are asked for payment to get the apps service continued. Once I paid for the service it somehow got much worse. I’m not sure what changed but it struggles hard to load a full video especially if it’s a little longer of a video and it struggles to connect to the sonos. Similar apps that do the same do not struggle like this. Different sonos at friends or families and different WiFi’s as well continue to have the same issue. I’m using the Xs Max. I would wait for them to make it better before continuing with the payment post trial.

I really love my Sonos system, and I really love SonosTube despite some shortcomings. Lately, it seems that when I play my playlists that I’m connected to a 56k modem…the videos are choppy or just decide to freeze. It’s not my internet. I’d like for this to be my preferred app, but this makes it difficult for me to fully appreciate it…and this only started happening about a week ago.

April 15, 2020...Updates are fine, when they are notably beneficial. However, when they are pushed out too frequently, and are forced-placed/mandatory, SonosTube will become entirely inaccessible, within just a few weeks of Apple’s inevitable last iOS supported version.
Back in the day, when I had an iPhone 4, there was more time in between updates, and many were not “forced”, so I was able continue to use my [perfectly working] phone, for another 6 months, before being forced to shell-out another $1,200. for a phone, just to use my apps again.
Unless all of these app developers, are willing to contribute a small monetary amount, pooling together, to fund the need to replace a non-broken phone, just for app functionality, then please slow down the update pushes.

April 25, 2020...ANOTHER update push, released on April 21st, 2020?!?!?!?! SERIOUSLY?!
Suggestion: beta test your thoughts first, before pushing out, yet another “buggy” update!

May 12, 2020...Yet ANOTHER update!
Third “update”, in less than 30 days!
For the time being, this update is not a forced-push. We shall see for how long.

Really love SonosTube. After I purchased, connecting with Sonos worked periodically. Frustratedly, I attempted to factory reset the box. Happily it didn’t reset because I would have lost all my sonos settings. However, this app opened. I just hope this will not be a constant issue.

We love it! Worth every penny. Seamless integration w my system, love the playlist option! Wish it would show what is playing from another persons app and allow you to add it to the playlist. Some sort of cross communication between phones, using SonosTube at same time

i really like SonosTube, i am using it constantly! SonosTube is very glitchy at times though. i’ve had to redownload it, and even though my wifi is good it still won’t play. i really like SonosTube but it can get frustrating sometimes

I think, it would be nice to have a viewable station that’s playing, for when you move out and return you’ll know what station you have playing.

I’m enjoying SonosTube since I got the this app system in my house.

As of yesterday though I can’t download SonosTube on my iPhone, so every time I want to play music through Sonos tube I need to go to SonosTube Store and open Sonos tube

Once running SonosTube work flawlessly 98% of the time. The user interface could use improvement, especially controlling the volume (slide too small). Another suggestion is to improve room selection and possible make room scenes.

A life saver if you have older sonos speakers which wont work w the new apps.

-volume control...ability adjust room volumes quicker.
-home screen based on listen history not random songs and music.

I have been using this app on my IOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and recently on my Mac. I have Sonos speakers in my family room, bedroom and my study and I use it about 15 to 16 hours a day. It is my most favorite app on Apple.

is there a way I can share my playlists -- that I created on my iphone -- on my Mac

Pretty impressed how this works. Doesn’t require any setup. Just downloaded, and went to settings to specify the speaker group.
They give you a 2 day trial which is fair to prove it works.

Brilliant app so far! Why Sonos doesn’t make this part of their app is mind blowing to me. Decided to Google it this morning and found SonosTube! Works like a charm!
