So I’ve never left a review but this is actually pretty serious. I am a teacher and downloaded StoryDice to use with my 4th grade class. However on the first use I realized that banner advertisements of bumble and other dating app sites were popping up, saying “are you single?” “Do you want to meet up?” Etc. Immediately I paid the .99 to get rid of advertisements. But every single time I am using StoryDice the banners still pop up. I honestly don’t even know why these ads are popping up on a children’s game in the first place but they are, and they continue to even after I’ve paid for them not to.

What are the dice supposed to mean? There are a lot of dice and stuff but what is it? What does the black cat mean? Does the gun mean you get shot? Or you’re doing the shooting?

It needs some jazzing up. The ability to re-roll individual dice, and turn the dice so that the picture are facing the right way if you want. Locking select dice would be welcome.
Other than that, a good free alternative to the storycube app.

I was looking at story dice on amazon then thought I’d look at StoryDice Store. I saw this among the others and thought I’d give it a try.
Only problem is the dice seemed to tilt a lot for lack of space.
I love the concept and the price range options.
It’s great for getting your creativity moving.
I’m currently going to try them with a RPG.

Kudos to the author for making a functional, free version of a useful tool for writers and storytellers. That said, I am on an iPhone SE here, and the screen is quite small. When I use 10 dice, almost invariably one or more of them ends up on top of another, or lands and settles at an angle which makes it difficult or impossible to see the picture(s)
Hope to see this fixed in a future release. Also would love to have the ability to input my own images.
