Ever since Nebo introduced the AI function and the icon at the bottom right, the app started crashing. I wish I could turn it off. I’ve had long email exchanges with them, sent them the full report of what’s happening during the crash, and did not have a reply. Then I uninstalled the app, waited for a few weeks and installed it again. The AI won’t work without an account, and surprisingly the app didn’t crash for a while. But to synch I had to log into my account and it started all over again. Such a pity, Nebo was a joy to work with, and I hope they fix it.

On one of my note pages I can erase once, when l erase a second time the screen goes black and it kicks me out the app. I thought it could be an update issue but the app has been updated and so has my iPad and it still keeps happening

Nebo on an iPhone 14 Plus Max. Track is not being continuously updated. As a result the displayed track is a very coarse Approximation to the actual track (crosses land etc). Using it in a double kayak. Paddling buddy has Nebo on an iPhone XR and the track is accurately displayed on his phone.

Common dislikes about Nebo app

- The ship may disappear on occasion, but there are workarounds to find it again

- No forum for users to exchange experiences with one another

- Outdated login method caused a problem for one user

- The latest update caused issues with searching for specific dates beyond two years ago.

Close and restart the Nebo app on iPhone

To resolve Nebo network issues, Reset phone network settings:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Nebo app issues:

Force Stop the Nebo App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Nebo app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Nebo to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Nebo App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Nebo app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Nebo.

Fix Nebo unable to contact server/ Nebo internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Nebo » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Nebo » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Nebo on android.
