No longer maintains GPS

I was using this happily for a couple of weeks to try it out before subscribing but since the last update, if the app loses the GPS signal at all, it fails to reconnect and consequently doesn’t track the route. Even when ending the route it won’t update to the current location, instead defaulting to where it lost GPS. The phone tracks the GPS location fine (as verified on various other mapping tools) but Nebo seems unable to reconnect to GPS. As such, it is now useless.
What happened?

I’ve been tracking a close friend of mine doing the great loop for the last six months. NEBO has been great until about a week to 10 days ago when NEBO apparently changed. The format is different and I no longer can track my friend aboard “Seaview”.
I’ve tried reloading the app but it’s still not working like it used to.

I used Nebo to see when Great Loop boats were headed my way. Then I would reach out to see if they needed anything while in my area. Then the app changed. I can no longer look at the maps to see where the boats are located. Maybe I dont know how to use the new app, but it has been very frustrating for me. Nebo has become virtually useless to me. Also, I dont know anyone, who can help me with it. Any help would be appreciated.
