Wordle! Status

Several times now when I am playing the game with the hot air balloons, I get cheated out of a win. My last word that is correct does not get credit disappears. I need to reenter another word and lose, with 2nd place. Feels like it is rigged.

Playing Wordle tournament last night around midnight and nudging up to #1 (which was at 1181) when the game froze. Back down to 0. Sigh. . . Just needed to vent. Wish there were a recovery process.

I have been playing with a friend for quite a while, 176 rounds and all of a sudden his end says I am guessing my end says he’s guessing and we can’t play anymore. We tried deleting the Match and sending an invite and it the new game still doesn’t work. What happened?

Screen freezez when I hit share

Several times I have found the right answer only to have my streak count start over at 1 the next day. I started writing down the answers everyday including which try I was successful on and my streak count (starting 12/28/22). The answer I found on 1/19/23 was FLEET and it was indicated as correct on my 3rd try. But the correct answer was MUCKY. Were there two different puzzles available? These answers are extremely different!

Freezing on Wordle

I am also stuck on March 2022. I have the Wordle app. I don’t use the New York Times one. Therefore I have already missed 6 days.

just started playing WORDLE! yesterday...hooked...my IOS (iPhone X) screen just froze while playing the game...the iPhone is working as are other apps

Every time lately that I try to play the game freezes my phone. I enjoy the game and would rather not have to delete it.

I am 84 and not very good solving problems. Really like Wordle somehow ended up paying no adds, last couple of days will not let me into the game, just to where they want more $ points. Would be very happy to cancel app and start over again. Please help a old man, thanks for any advice, Keith

For some unknown reason, I keep getting a message saying that I am bot connected, although, I am connected to the internet and it will not let me play??

I’m playing in a Wordle tournament via the app on an iPhone. My score had stopped climbing even though I keep solving new puzzles.

Won’t move past the ad.

I get an ‘error’ on the Wordle page and tells me to try again later. I still can’t get in after many tries.

When I am in a tournament my numbers do not increase no matter how many times I play!

Unable to open or start a game in Firefox. Works fine in Edge. Have cleaned cookies and cache and it's not resolved the problem.

When I solve the word in today's tournament my points never change

The Wordle page won't scroll down. The wordle screen is in the middle of the web page instead of the top, and I can't scroll down the page, and I can't see the keyboard at the bottom. I've used the same browser for months, this just started a couple of days ago. Using a Mac laptop running 10.10.5. Very weird.

Bottom two rows not showing. It is as though wordle loaded in a split screen with the top half starting at about mid screen and the blank bottom half is loaded above it. Unable to play it this way. (This is on my PC).

I have the Android version of Wordle on my phone, and paid to get rid of ads. Sometimes though, I'll still hear random audio being played from an ad, even though there's none on the screen, and I can't play the game until it's complete.

On Mac after entering five letters hit return/enter the boxes start vibrating or jiggling and message in black rectangle appears at top of screen saying "Not in word list." Same behavior on Chrome and Safari, and on Desktop and iPhone.

Today's Wordle......Did NOT accept the word DEBIT on my fourth guess.... Why not? I just finished Wordle and do not understand why the word DEBIT resulted in staggering non acceptable word....debit is a word......

I have tried the safari fix several times but continue to get a blank screen. The safari fix is to delete the cookies from safari using the advanced tab. Is there another fix I can try?

For Jean MacMillan. A friend also had either completed wordle games or partially completed wordle games. I've been troubleshooting and it appears someone else is using his nytimes account. He may have left it logged in on a computer that one his his adult children use? Or his account has been hacked.

For the past 4 or 5 days, when I access "Wordle today" on Chrome the "Wordle today" has already been filled in. Someone else has done it using a first word I have never used. No one else has physical access to my computer. Can you help me?

loaded free version on my android phone and android tablet. works great on the phone - but - extremely, extremely slow on the tablet. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it three times on the tablet, and I've rebooted the tablet three times hoping that would fix the glitch - nope! Still very, very, very slow to respond on the tablet. Tablet is a Samsung Tab E running Android version 7.1.1 with 1+ gig of Device memory available and 3 gig SD Card memory still available. Any suggestions?

I can't do Daily puzzles anymore. I accidentally did a daily plus (six letter, which I do not like), so it wouldn't let me do anything but past plus puzzles. Now I'm stopped in plus on the 24th, and can't do anything. Am I going to have to remove the app and reinstall it?

My first word guess is “adieu“ but after hitting enter, it tells me it’s not enough letters. It is frozen, I can’t even backspace.

When I enter letters on the first line they are not changing colour. I cannot proceed beyond that point. My stats are still showing. I have tried clearing my google cache and cookies and rebooted several times. This is happening on both my android phone and tablet and started happening about 3 weeks ago; before then it worked fine.

I have been playing Wordle for quite a while. However for the last few days it won’t open.

The normal setting to input my words has shown up in parallel boxes. I can only see one box. We tried everything to get rid of the boxes but can't figure it out. We have it on our tv. Thanks

After solving wordle, I am unable to share it!

Wordle puzzle is cutting off too word. I can barely see the bottom edge of my first guess but no way to tell what the guess actually is. It has been so annoying since the Times took over!!

It is past mid-nite in UK so should be a new Wordle problem(for 19th June) , Instead I get yesterdays correctly solved in 5 showing on screen - also it appears as number one in current streak when it should be around number 25 (or thereabouts) in my current streak. Nothing I try corrects this. At present I cannot start on todays wordle problem. What is the issue causing this?

I didn’t solve yesterdays wordle ( Tuesday) and I opened it this morning with yesterdays wordle still on it. I figured since I didn’t finish it I would put the word in as my husband told me the answer this morning. It just froze after saying” whew” and I can’t get out of yesterday’s wordle. It's not accepting the correct words requested

First, two crashes, one on a 3,280+ streak when using the “try again“ feature. Said wait for ad to load and the screen froze and erased my streak. Because I was out of state, my streak is stuck on the leaderboard where it was when I left my home state. After getting home, it happened again, same exact circumstance. Contacted NYTimes and they said we can’t reset streaks. Period. Was seventh in the state. Now, starting over, leaderboard will not reset. Up to over 1000 wins (Would put me at 273rd in the state, thank you very much); does not show on the Leaderboard. What do I do? Can’t even get into the streak I had when leaving Home state to crash so I can start over. Will not let me change name on old streak, nothing. *@!! Any help, much appreciated. Thank you

app on iphone says not connected when I am clearly connected to the internet and gets stuck on some ads. I would pay for the ad free version but I have way too may prolems to believe that would solve the issues....
