LufthansaCustomerService is emblematic of Lufthansa disastrous IT ‘capabilities’. Why does a stand-alone app exist for Service? There is another stand-alone app for entertainment. And none of them are any good. They try to make it look nice on the surface but LufthansaCustomerService has no capability to do anything. You want to change your frequent flyer number?! - you need to call. Please Lufthansa- look at United, copy their app and start over. Whatever you are doing right now is so poor, it really doesn’t pass as an app.

Agent was fast on the chat and very nice. I was looking for special fare information for humanitarian aid teams working in refugee camp. His answer was they had no special fares for this but I should try their website or travel agencies??? I felt like if its on your website you should know about it. So really go no assistance for this question. If its no that’s ok but don’t tell me to search some place else.

Can you imagine a customer service app that provides no customer service? The chat didn’t work, the singular number provided was an American number and there was absolutely nothing in LufthansaCustomerService that provided me help with what was quite a serious situation. I could find no numbers online, nor any feasible way to receive assistance. If this terrible excuse of an app is the best customer service that Lufthansa can provide then god help us all.

My husband and I made a late booking on a flight from SAN to FRA, and online seat choices did not give us two seats together. My chat request was answered within 1 minute, and new seats together assigned within another minute. Great!

Had to make a quick change and was traveling in another country with limited cell connection. It was very easy and the agent got the request completed. I wish LufthansaCustomerService was integrated with the Lufthansa app.

LufthansaCustomerService is fine; it’s the service that’s ridiculous. After spending an hour on chat for an issue sending in some additional evidence for my situation via email. The chat ended and 40 minutes later i received a response to my email requesting I provide all the context I had already shared with the chat agent all over again and that my request had been canceled. What is the point of a chat capability with the customer experience is disconnected.

I had a refund issue with a double charge to my credit card. Agent (Jon) looked into it quickly and resolved in a few minutes. Love the Chat feature!

Lufthansa never had good mobile apps, but this one does not even work.

The screen starts with a search field and the keyboard does not even come up to enter anything. You can swipe to other screens, but the interface is distorted.

I really hope that Lufthansa has a different management for quality assurance in place for other parts of the company.

I installed LufthansaCustomerService and was connected on chat within 3 minutes and had my answer to my question in less than a minute. Very useful and easy to navigate!

I downloaded LufthansaCustomerService when my flight was delayed and easily changed our connection flight.

I used the service call number and the chat and In both cases the service was excellent and faster than any other companies . I really recommend LufthansaCustomerService. Good job Lufthansa!

I had a collection of family antiques to bring back from Europe. They gave me all the info to properly package and bring with me as a checked baggage

Besides the incredibly long wait times, when I was finally connected to a representative, the service personnel actually hung up on me. When I called back, my call was refused and no one answered. How can a flight be canceled or changed if service personnel act this unprofessional?

I was connected within a minute and got all the clarification instantly. Excellent customer service.

LH CS app is great. And the chat reps make things very convenient. A real stress reliever. (And I accidentally put a 1-star rating in — hopefully changed to 5 like i meant!)
