Awesome Service

If you are traveling internationally and must receive a COVID test before returning to the states, you should use this service!! After researching the cost of getting one done in the Netherlands we started looking for other options, not only is this process quite a bit less expensive but also we were able to do this test at our own convenience. First, we got our kits in a quick 2 days, and had an extra kit (just in case we needed it). Then I was able to set up the appointment whenever we needed it to be done. The day of our actual scheduled appointment, was way easier than I expected. Our proctor, Randy B, communicated very clear and precise instructions, and was also very patient with our 2 young boys. We all got our results within the 15 minute timeframe with no issues, and easily downloaded them to our phones for check in at the Amsterdam Airport. The only thing I would suggest is to have both apps (this app and CovidHome test) already downloaded onto multiple devices (iPad or iPhone). You only need one account but multiple devices. We ended up downloading the apps while we doing the test. It would have made it a bit quicker if we had already done this....

Received a false positive test which was confirmed at a clinic two days later

I hate to give this product a bad review since there is a four percent chance that the results are incorrect. However, it basically ruined the last three days of our family trip in Iceland as my result came back positive while the rest of my family’s came back negative. We had to rush back to the capital and keep me in isolation for two days. I knew that there was a very slim chance it could be inaccurate and I have been fully vaccinated since March and wore a mask the entire trip. However the mental stress it put on our trip was not worth it. Has we gone to the clinic instead they could have done another test or even a PCR test which would have confirmed it was a false positive. Instead the last two days of our trip was a disaster.
Also despite excellent customer service during the observation, it took our family of four well over an hour as we had only two phones with Azova on it and each one of us had to watch the video instructions.
Our proctor Chandler was patient and kind. So the service was good yet the false positive was very upsetting.

I almost cried when I went to the clinic and saw the negative result. I would have had to stay in Iceland for 14 days!

Fast results with great communication

this app was wonderful! We ordered the test Saturday morning, then scheduled an appointment for video call right after ordering the test. Received the test on Tuesday, performed the video call early Wednesday morning at 740 am, only waited maybe 1-3 minutes to be helped, registered kit while on the video call, as explained in instructions. She was very pleasant & helpful, took maybe 5 minutes. Sent test out that morning at 11 am for overnight UPS, received message right when they received the kit, about 11am Thursday morning. Received prompt message around 5 pm Thursday evening with test results. Thanks to this app, we will have a peaceful & pleasant trip in Hawaii, as we leave Friday. Just remember to schedule appointment for video call right after you order the test, register kit ON video call & make sure the test is taken within 72 hours of the LAST LEG OF THE FLIGHT to Hawaii... Aloha :)

Frustrating

When it works this is a good alternative to waiting in line to be tested or even trying to find test locations when you are out of the USA. If you are using one device to perform the test and the video call then you do need to be pretty savvy with switching between apps and locating messages within the same app you are using for the video call. Of the 3 times I’ve used the service for COVID testing only 1 worked flawlessly, the others were a frustrating experience of calling customer care or texting in the message function within Azova . I did not find it explained anywhere but when you need a COVID test for travel, you need to get a copy of your test results that contain your passport number. Without this you are likely to be denied check in. It’s great when it works but leave plenty of time before you need your results just in case like me you have to wait for hours for customer support to respond.

Unsatisfied Customer

My school required us to order a COVID-19 test kit through this app and when I order the kit, I was immediately instructed to pay as I placed the order. I had placed the order on August 1 and needed the kit by August 7 at the latest. When I would call during the week to check the status on my order they would repeatedly tell me they were unable to track my order. On August 7, I called them and asked about my order and they said it was supposed to have been arrived but it had not. I gave it an extra day and on August 10, I called and asked for a refund due to my not receiving a test kit that they told me would have come days prior and when I reached a representative they told me I could not get a refund. I have not received the kit and therefore I have not used the kit but yet I and unable to get a refund?! Come one now, I needed this kit for school but due to they’re poor communication I had to go I out of my way to seek another provider for a kit. I am disappointed with this service and would not recommend.

I did not think this would be a review for other customers

The this app app is fine. Had a telehealth appointment for travel, the health professional who observed us was very patient and at the end, asked if we’d be willing to write her a review about how she did.

I thought it would be professional internal feedback, but no it’s a link to the apple and google play stores. XD

As for this app itself, I had issues entering birthdates. When I made our accounts, it asked for American format specifically, but then recorded it in English format (so the month and date were wrong). After I fixed both accounts, our practitioner still had to update one because it was showing as backwards. Since the birthday is part of verifying your identity, this might be a semi-important bug to fix.

Beware of PCR testing for travel

I submitted a saliva sample for a PCR covid test to travel to Hawaii. Upon submitting my specimen, it was sent to the lab and I should have had my results prior to my flight. After being advised I would be okay to travel and my results would post, I arrived in Hawaii. I am currently sitting on a 5 day quarantine essentially paying 1000 dollars a day to watch tv in my room. After contacting this app, the pharmacy that conducted my test and the lab it was suppose to be sent to, I was advised my test had been processed but there was no results and they were unaware of where my actual test was sent. Apparently this app switched testing labs and did not notify their contractors of the change so my sample was sent to the wrong lab that no longer services this app. After hours on the phone with several people, there has been no resolution and I have not received my results. If you’re going to need a test, I would highly recommend using a different company so you don’t get put into the same situation.

On the fence

I absolutely appreciated the availability of this service to get my family of 5 covid tests to return back to the US. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as seamless or easy to use as I had wished. I set it up before traveling which I was glad for. It took some back and forth to get it set up. To have the actual tests proctored, the proctor was lovely and knowledgeable. Getting the results was a little bumpy - I made full use of the chat function to ensure that my test results were submitted correctly as there were few instructions. Overall, I would def use this again but with the knowledge that it’s a bit klunky to get it done.

No one answers the video call and a wait of four hours

I spent $180 on the testing kit with this app and Ellume because I was linked there by the Virgin Atlantic site. It’s for the 3 tests needed when flying to the UK from the US. When I logged in at my appointed time, no one answered the video call. I was on the line for 10 minutes. I rescheduled and called again later, again no one answered. Customer service was unresponsive to my inquiries. Four hours later, I got a message from customer service that told me to stay in the waiting room, and someone called me to tell me that I missed my appointment. When I told them I didn’t miss my appointment, they said you just have to keep waiting in the waiting room because the wait can be long. There was absolutely no communication of any kind from this app about that. I ended up having to book an test at an actual clinic. The concept is good, but it doesn’t work at all. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Lucira CheckIt + Azova = travel peace of mind

I recently took a trip to Mexico and brought a Lucira CheckIt PCR test with me… right when Omicron made its presence across the globe known and the US changed its policy for re-entry from 72 to a 24 hour policy for testing results.

Thankfully I found this app. 5 minutes filling in info and making an online appointment for a supervised test in my hotel room was a breeze. To idiot check myself, I also called this app.. and low and behold… a human on the other line picked up who went step by step with me on the website and app to ensure I did it all correctly.

Azova has a simple clean set up with flawless reminders that came through it and to my phone itself as texts. The online supervisor was kind and professional and the entire process was flawless down to the pdf of my results that was shared with me which I printed and brought to the airport with me…. All without a hitch.

Couldn’t recommend packing your own FDA EAU PCR test (like Lucira for one example) for any international travel and using this app… best $20 and stress / time saver I found to simply enjoy my last day of the journey without stress.

Flaws with scheduling and time zones

Overall, I’m pleased with the Ellume test kit and the proctored results; it makes the test requirement for USA reentry super simple. That said, there is something wrong with the scheduling system at least as it relates to Italy’s time zone. I chose my appointment time in Italy’s only time zone but the actual appt time was off by one hour; I only figured it out after waiting 2x for more than 30 minutes at my scheduled time only to have no one show up. For my third appointment, I joined 1 hour earlier than the appointment schedule showed and my proctor promptly appeared. Once I was connected, it was great but very frustrating in the meantime trying to guess why it wasn’t working (and unfortunately, customer service was not responsive to chats/phone calls while I tried to resolve).

Stress free process and quick result

I used the service to get the proof of negative COVID test result required for US entry. I could book the time slot I choose (basically, any slots - 24/7- were open the day before), and all I had to do is to prepare the test kit and photo ID. I performed the nasal swab in front of a proctor (virtually using a camera on my phone), completed the steps as I usually do to get the result, then kept showing the test kit to the camera while waiting to get the results. Once done (in 15 minutes), take a picture of the negative results. I received the pdf document within 5 minutes. I will absolutely use the service again.

Super Helpful

I was nervous since this not only was my first Covid test I had ever took, I had to administer it to myself. We were traveling so I was on a time crunch. The kit came in time and I had my appointment. Unfortunately my call dropped in the middle of the process and since I had never had a test before I was completely lost at what the next step was and thought the test was void. Thankfully Jessel G called me to help finish the process and then Virgelio T called me back and helped me to put my test in the Hawaiian travel app. I appreciate all your assistance and help since I was so stressed out not to get my results in time for our travels. Frustrating

The test and scheduled proctor worked great for me. But my husband had another experience. Customer service is incredibly patient and kind but we were totally burned out by the process of trying to remedy the issues with his account. We were on the phone for over an hour and the problem was not solved. Luckily we were in a country that had excellent testing sites and went there for my husband’s test. Had we known that testing was extremely easy and quick in the country we visited I would not have bought the kits. As one of the other reviewers mentioned this was challenging using 2 apps and 2 customer service reps. Please streamline the process a bit more and work out the kinks on Azova to make this a better experience

Unbelievable

Azova partners with Alaska Airlines so we used it for Reentry into the US. They are in NO WAY affiliated with an actual test kit so you must register both on this app and Ellume, and register between them, in a multitude of time zones which is baffling. No customer support, and when taking the test you need two smart devices, so if you only have phones you’re borrowing someone and constantly logging in and out of three accounts. The person watching you isn’t really, so one of our tests was done incorrectly in a way that the viewer should have spotted and corrected immediately. This “15” minute test results in over 2 hours of time to register and take your test. If you mess your test up you have to call customer support on each service, redo the link between them and start over from scratch. Killed a whole day for our crew and was insanely frustrating.

Makes travel a little easier

Got these as a back up just in case I could not get test results back in a timely fashion when we traveled out of the country. Very convenient, took about an hour total for both my husband and myself.
Proctors were so kind and helpful.
Will use this again when traveling.
My only complaint is I do wish that more places accepted this type of testing. Seems they would pass them out (for a fee) upon your arrival and not only could it be lucrative, but would relieve the local facilities of the burden of travel testing and allow them to take care of their own population.

Best customer Service Ever

Nick was amazing he stayed on the phone with us through the whole process until we had ordered the product installed Azova showed us where to go to send the results to Hawaii. I would highly recommend this company if you need a Covid test to use for travel. They have thought of everything and our biggest concern was timing and we had no issues with timing we ordered the product the next day it arrived that night we did the test and was supervised online they created a report and I had it in my email that night.

Good product

Had to use this company for a recent trip to proctor a Covid test as it is the only company approved for home testing for the country I was visiting. Azova is decent although I couldn’t add passport information within Azova and had to go to the website. The messaging feature worked well, the reps responded quickly. The notifications worked, and it was great to be able to use my phone to do the video call for the test. The results were ready and in the format I needed within 20 minutes.

I had my own test which was not one that they sell, but by using a generic link that I learned about by calling them I was able to schedule my appointment.

The test appointment was scheduled for EST but with the recent change to EDT the time was confusing and I got pinged to show up at 9am and again at 10am. They should allow you to pick EST or EDT.

Other than the few little hiccups, overall it was a good experience and the pricing for the tests is very reasonable.

I saved 3 hours today and didn't have to leave my house to see my doctor.

I made an appt with my doctor through the this app app. The doctor was able to do a video call and diagnose me based on my symptoms. I didn't have to sit inside the waiting room for 20-30 minutes and then sit again in one of the patient rooms for another 20 minutes only for him to see me and diagnosis me in 5 min. It's a one hour round trip for me to drive to my doctors office and then another hour at the pharmacy just waiting.

My doctor sent my prescription to the pharmacy through the this app app and my prescription was ready for me when i arrive.

Very convenient

As far as I can determine the On/Go and this app partnership is the only proctored self test that is available without a prescription. The test went well and our proctor allowed my wife and I to do the tests simultaneously even though her appointment was scheduled after mine. The proctor was available on time and she provided good instruction. The only drawback is the method of sending in a picture of the passport and test results. It is not intuitive or clear and Azova should be revised to improve this aspect. Still, we intend to use this process again on future trips.

Thank heavens, it’s about time for this app!

I had to travel to Seattle for work and had a rash on my back. I was able to use Azova to connect securely with my Dermatologist.
I sent her pictures and was able to have an online visit, receive a diagnosis, and procure the right prescription within a short period of time. This was a lifesaver for me on this trip and saved me the hassle of trying to be seen in a new city.....and I was quickly able to start treatment.

Good app for patients

I use this at work to message with our patients for prescriptions, pharmacy communication, and pathology results. Our patients absolutely love it. It saves so much time because we don’t have to play phone tag with our patients and can communicate with them while we are in the room. The patients are much happier because we can respond much quicker

Best healthcare app

I messaged my doctor’s office, sent photos, got diagnosed and a prescription in a matter of four minutes. Holy cow! Then was able to message with the pharmacist and get my prescription delivered. This is the way healthcare is supposed to be.

I scheduled two covid test appointments and neither one was fulfilled. A doctor never showed up, I waited for two hours. I ended up having to go to a clinic where I was staying. I was hoping for an easy way to get my test done and get back to the US. This proved to be insanely stressful and a waste of money. And the customer service has been awful. It was basically non existent.

Update: 11/9/21: they called me, and after having me on hold for 15 minutes or so, I was told I wasn't going to get my refund. The first attempt to explain had to do with my purchasing an Ellume kit. When I told them that makes no sense, they proceeded to tell me that it was too late now, because the last representative I talked to, who had offered a refund, actually didn't file the refund. So they screw up again, and I waste my time again. Great! Oh, they also had the nerve to doubt that I had told the truth about waiting that long the day of my appointment, although they backed up quickly. I had an appointment for a covid test, while abroad. I arrived a few minutes early for my video call, and I was placed in the virtual waiting room. I waited around half an hour, but no one showed up. I decided to go and have the test elsewhere. Well, a few hours later, they started contacting me by email, phone call, and text message, saying that, since I was over half an hour late for my appointment, I would be marked as a no show. Using the in app chat, I let them know that I had, in fact, showed up for my appointment, but I had been stood up, and that I no longer needed a covid test, but that I would like to have a refund. The person offered to have the appointment then, but I told him that a) I had already taken the test somewhere else, and b) I didn't have a reliable wifi connection at that time. He still insisted, so I explained the situation again. He had me contact customer service, which I just did. They told me that they couldn't control the volume of appointments, so that is why I had to wait. I do not understand that: if they cannot handle that many appointments at a time, they should block that time out. I was able to make an appointment for that specific time, so I should have been helped at that time, or at least, they should have let me know that they were running at least half an hour late. They agreed to give me a refund, but that won't change the stress I was under, and that I lost the second to last morning I had to spend with my family and friends abroad.

Trying to get covid credentials confirmed. Site starts with "takes 3 minutes". No it doesn't. Waste of time! I did chat and Nikki A disappeared?! Going direct to Safe Hawaii got results. What's the purpose of Azova? Pay and get nothing done?

Azova is a scam. Never came on for the video call for 3 of us. One of the tests did not work at all
