There are so many problems that it’s difficult to know where to start.

1. At least 30% of the time items shown as in stock are not in stock. Because PicknPayasap does an immediate credit card charge rather than an authorisation (which professional apps do), out of stock items require a refund. Which would be ok if they worked.

2. Refunds to (my) card don’t work and so they issue a voucher (days later). The only way to redeem this is via PicknPayasap, so one gets trapped in an endless loop of having to use PicknPayasap . Even if card refunds did work, because they are refunds, it can take days to get your money back.

3. Substitutions also don’t work. There is no apparent way to engage in a substitution process via PicknPayasap even though PicknPayasap sends a notification. Per point (1) - given the poor stock management, this really should work.

4. Driver tracking also doesn’t work. The map shows the driver marooned at the store, while in reality he is outside your gate trying to get in

In short, PicknPayasap is a great example of how not to build a shopping app. It does everything wrong and makes shopping more of a lottery than the sure thing you need.

I can understand that at first you only allow very basic items for selecting but you’ve been live for a while now and you don’t have something as basic as spinach under vegetables? Not good enough. I know PnP definitely sell spinach. Meat selection is also almost non-existent.

I was really happy with the driver’s efficiency and communication. But my order is incorrect and incomplete. I will never use it again. Absolutely terrible experience for my first time.

App functionality was good, but my first attempt at ordering was cancelled from Bottle’s side after waiting for it all afternoon, with nothing provided to make up for the bad experience except a refund. Left with no groceries too late in the day to make an alternative plan. Three attempts to contact customer service, over a week and a half later still no reply. Gave it more than a reasonable chance for them to redeem themselves so as much as i was looking forward to continued ordering, i’ll be deleting PicknPayasap .

I’ve ordered from them regularly and it’s great when it works.

They short delivered my last order, which I understand as mistakes do happen.

It’s what happens then that is disappointing.
The customer care line never answers.

The message is that they are experiencing very high call volumes.

To me, that means they are messing up extremely, hence the very high calls and they are under resourced to cope with it.

I’ve messaged them several times, left a voice message on their system where it assures me that they will call back.

To date, no response.

How to turn a good proposition into a bad one.

You are guaranteed that listed items will be out of stock and yes I know this happens but there is no way to cancel a order- the chat function does not work as responses are hours later. Email does not work either and delivery can take hours if not days. This is sad as I remember the incredible personalised service that was given in the early days when PicknPayasap was just launced

App is a hot mess. Customer service is worse.
This was my first time using 'ASAP', placed an order at 2pm, app said my delivery would be between 4-5pm. At 4:30pm I check for an update and it says 'delivery tomorrow morning 8-8:45 am'. Called customer service 3 times, no one has called back/responded. Sent an email, zero response.

The delivery aspect is so frustrating, they never keep time and always deliver the next day and for cancelled orders they take forever to get back. I would recommend that the store accept the orders and not PicknPayasap . It’s terrible.

Placed my first order today!! Only 2 items!! They completely messed up sent an item half the price and still charged me for the full item!!

Now they come back and tell me I must go to the store and correct there mistake!!! What the heck! I paid for delivery and for a service for what so that I could go drive back to the store to correct what they messed up!!

Where is the customer service offering in that what did I actually pay for😤😤😤😤

Just downloaded app and it keeps telling me I’m not connected to the internet🤬done a speed check and there’s nothing wrong my side

Had a number of bad exp with asap. Service unreliable & customer service below par. Pick n Pay clearly doesn’t have the capability to offer an online shopping service of acceptable quality.

This is a load of crap! You spend a whole of time loading the items you want. Once completed you try to move forward and it always gets stuck! Pure junk and waste of my time. Pick and Pay can surely do better than this rubbish!
