Sure, the camera works great, HOWEVER, you must disable notifications (which truly defeats the purpose; for don’t you want to be notified if motion is detected when you are away!?) or you will be HOUNDED multiple times during the day to activate your 30 day trial membership for iCloud storage. I have a memory card in my camera. I don’t need iCloud storage! Contacted email support twice to resolve this issue and they never responded. Here a clue ‘360’; if you need advertising dollars from iCloud so badly just charge me more for the camera instead of harassing me with notifications, which I was forced to turn off- making your product useless!

I tried to buy the package for the year and paid 16 dollars. It said it was successful but wasn’t showing up. I went back to the purchase page and a message popped up for like 2 seconds that said “purchase failed, contact App Store for refund”. There was no way to contact anyone from IPC360 to see what went wrong or how to fix it. I doubt apple will give me a refund for something that wasn’t their fault. I checked and I have cloud storage space so I don’t know why I wouldn’t be able to complete the purchase Unless it’s just a way to get more money. I would love for someone from IPC360 to contact me and figure this out.

1. IPC360 disconnects from the camera and goes back to the list of available cameras constantly. This happens regardless of WiFi strength of the camera or device using IPC360 .

2. IPC360 will freeze while in camera mode without any obvious signs that it has frozen. the only way to tell if the camera view isn’t frozen is by the little time stamp in the top left corner.

3. The sound feature will randomly turn off without notification. This is an especially big problem when viewing the camera in landscape mode, as IPC360 icons that would alert you to the sound being turned off are hidden from view.

4. The motion notifications don’t actually do anything in IPC360 itself. IPC360 while send you a motion notification when you aren’t in IPC360 , but clicking on the notification will send you to a screen in IPC360 that should show you a screen shot or at least have a log of “motion detected at x time” but I have never seen an actual notification or log on this screen of any kind. It would be better to simply take me to the camera screen when I click on the notification.

5. I said ignore to the free cloud storage upgrade, so stop giving me a pop up about it every time I open IPC360 .

I'm using the camera to let my cats come in. My husband and I live in the second floor whereas his family lives in the first. We have 3 cats - 2 family cats and 1 is mine. They don't get along very well, which is why we had to install the camera to prevent from any potential cat fights.

Sometimes IPC360 doesn't alert at all when there is a motion detected. I often have to turn it on and off. Not just that, but adjust the notification settings as well. And just this morning, it completely stopped working in terms of notifications. The alert of motion detection would show up in the timeline, but it doesn't record in the alert history. I have both micro SD and cloud service. I'm mainly using the cloud one, and it simply doesn't alert and record. This is so disappointing.

When I first got the camera almost a year ago, it was super easy to set up and use. I use the camera to check in on my dog, and I hadn’t had any problems in using it.. up until the last update. I haven’t used it in about a month, and when I went to use it saw there was an update. I updated it, plugged it in, and nothing. It was offline. I tried to reset it, and that didn’t work. I deleted then reinstalled IPC360 , and that didn’t work. I deleted the camera from IPC360 and re-added it, and that didn’t work. Now the camera does not work and is useless. So disappointing. I’m not sure if a new update to fix the bug would work or if I should just scrap the camera entirely.

I am so vastly unhappy with this product. I have 2 cameras, one in each of my children’s rooms. I like the fact that I can watch them even if I am not home, however, there is so often that the camera doesn’t actually connect, or freezes in the middle of a viewing. My internet is not the issue, as none of my other devices have any connectivity issues. They are supposed to be HD and one of the cameras only shows black and white, and they are both on a delay of several seconds. One of the cameras stands broke while I was setting it up. I don’t know if I just got defective cameras, but if I had known then what was going to happen I would NOT have gotten this product!!!

I haven’t even gotten much use out of the monitor and now it doesn’t work at all. Tried resetting it, deleting app and reinstalling it, it just says it’s offline which it’s not! Now it doesn’t do anything! Nothing has worked and I’ve tried reaching out to the developers and no response via IPC360 ! Not good business or good product. I bought this as a baby monitor for my daughter who is now 9months old now I can’t even use it. Waste of money and it should be a recall on this product for sure! I actually paid for the cloud storage which I have to change now if IPC360 will work long enough for me to do that smh

With the new iOS 14, you get an alert when apps are reading content from your clipboard and violating your privacy. IPC360 is constantly doing that and it doesn’t seem very safe as passwords or other sensitive information may be on the clipboard. Please fix this! Also, asking me to subscribe to their cloud service every single time I log into IPC360 is getting old. I don’t want to use their cloud and given that people have paid $ for the camera, it’s intrusive to keep asking. And beyond annoying having to dismiss an alert which takes up the entire screen. There needs to be an option to turn this off!!

We have been trying to use this as a baby monitor but have given up and now only use it as a back up. IPC360 is not set up well to be a monitor as you have to have IPC360 open and the screen on in order to get any notifications or hear the video. The video will also close after 5 minutes sometimes And then default to sound off when you go back into the video. You can only view one room at a time and it does not scan between rooms. The settings are confusing and make noises through the camera when using/adjusting sometimes which ends up waking/scaring the kiddos. The picture is great and I can log in and see the kids from anywhere which I like. I feel like a few fixes could make this a much better system. The main thing would be for notifications to go through when your phone screen is off, honestly, it does no good if you can’t get a notification unless you are already in IPC360 !

The software works fine for viewing. You can zoom in and turn your phone sideways to do a full screen. Unfortunately, it has some serious flaws. First, you should change the camera encryption from the default. But ever since I did that, the camera's performance has been laggier. Then, you have to type that in every time you want to view it, which is something you don't have to do when you leave it at the default. But by leaving it at the default, the camera is going to be vulnerable to hacking. A more minor complaint is the video time on screen. You see it on the top left corner but it's too small to see. You have a graph below the video with the time too but it doesn't show the seconds like the one at the top left does. This software needs a lot of work.

No fine tuning via “cells/grid” for motion detection, just 1-6 for “sensibility” (verbatim). That setting doesn’t seem to make a difference. On 3, it occasionally triggers upon a distant headlight or passing truck (quite far away). But I can pass 20’ away pulling in/out of our garage and nothing. Or, someone walks onto the porch 12’ to right in front of the camera & nothing. And too often, the trigger is way too late, only catching the end of whatever movement or nothing. I have an SD card always recording, but it’s way too difficult to scroll back in time a little bit to review (IF there’s an alert at all to let me know to look). No playback speed options, so no zipping thru Fwd or backwards.
Video quality is good.

It’s always lagging and won’t load at the most important times I need it to load!! Like when my motion detector is going off and IPC360 won’t load my camera feed fast enough for me to see what’s going on! Should at least add a feature to make the camera record automatically once it picks up motion!! I even have a hard time reviewing previous footage. It just doesn’t load! I have very good cell phone service and Wifi so I know that’s not the issue here. It doesn’t matter where I am. My other camera app never gives me issues. Please make an update!!

Although I have been using this app for over a year, purchased several outdoor cameras, and would have been generally satisfied with the value of this product, I am unable to renew cloud service through IPC360 , and there seems to be no technical support or customer service to help. Making the cameras useless at this point. Also, video doesn’t save when you’re watching unless you save it using the record feature. Its easy to lose footage.

I am currently using this camera and app for a baby monitor,as the Wi-Fi in our house causes disruption with regular baby monitors. As a baby monitor it is OK, except if I have a WiFi disruption. Are use the video option the entire time my baby is asleep. If I have a Wi-Fi description, IPC360 doesn’t bring the video back up the way that it was. Also it automatically defaults to sound off. So my suggestion is that if there is a connection problem IPC360 automatically puts you back the way you were when Wi-Fi is reestablished. I live in a bit of anxiety every night that I am going to wake up and the video is off. And I wouldn’t have known if my child was crying all night. Maybe I should choose a different camera and app, but I already purchased this one and I don’t really particularly want to choose a different one. Fortunately our Wi-Fi is pretty good, so this doesn’t happen often. However it does happen.

I ordered these after my baby monitor crapped out after a year of using it! I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews and testimonials and decided on this brand of camera to use as a baby monitor. That being said, I KNOW the intent of these cameras are not baby monitors- they’re security cameras! So their set up is quite different than a baby monitor would be. However, the night vision is incredible, you get a WIDE angle shot from wherever you station the camera, you can take pictures (and video if you have an SD card), you can log in and watch if you have a babysitter for the night, and you can adjust the alert settings to be notified when there are noises and/or movement in your child’s room. All things that we wanted and love!
I do sleep with the camera pulled up on my app, and I keep it plugged it so it doesn’t die. I also keep my volume up so that if my phone does “fall asleep” or anything like that, if something were going on in my baby’s room I would wake up from the alert notifications!
My son is also 18 months old- this is NOT something I would recommend to use with a newborn, because you need to have a much higher quality of sound and reliability of the video coming through without your phone falling asleep.

This camera works, yes, but today when I plugged it in, I heard (more than once!) a siren sound that lasted about 8-10 seconds! It has happened before. I searched the settings but cannot figure out WHY it does that. It’s extremely annoying when trying to put a child down to nap! Any suggestions on how to figure out why it does this and how to stop it?

I use IPC360 in a shop and anytime something happens and I want to check, unless I watch the whole recorded video else I might miss what I want to see trying to make the video go forward. Please please please add a fast forward button so we could see everything that happened in the recorded video but not trying to skip to a particular time where I might miss what I want to see. Would really appreciate it.

Update: the issue was fixed!!!!! thank you for the support and response! The developer reached out to let me know that the problem had been resolved.

I have been using this camera as a baby monitor since last year and i love it! Great with notifications but since the recent iOS update it is not sending methionine notifications pleaseeeeeeeee fix!!!!!!

This is a nice Camera and price is definitely something to consider when you want to add extra security to your house. Security doesn’t have to be expensive. Camera works fine, day and night I get alerts when there is motion detected in certain range.
I would say that the sensor is good but it detects flies and bugs, you can decrease or increase sensitivity though.

The camera is great, IPC360 itself is probably a 4.5/5. I use it for very basic purposes and it works quite well. The only downside I see is that when I get a notification on my phone and I try to tap to see what it is, IPC360 does not record what the reason was. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it was fixed.

We initially were so happy with the ease of setup and quality of images, we bought two more. After months of having them, within a week, we heard clicking sounds when the camera was off, my daughter heard it talking to her in the middle of the night ( we thought nightmares), my son thought we told him to turn down his music, (it wasn’t us)...until a man actually called to us, as my husband and I were in another room, and followed the sound to the camera in the hall.
This is NOT a security camera. It’s a SURVEILLANCE camera. Indeed, this has been a nightmare.

Had less than 24 hours, tried to use as a monitor in my 3 year olds room that sometimes still wakes at night.
First, the alerts it sent for motion detection were so loud and strange I thought someone was trying to break in the house in the middle of the night.

Second, and more creepy - it awoke my son early with a loud police/fire like siren blasting. Naturally he woke up sobbing and when he left the room the siren stopped. Minutes later when I went back in the room with him the siren started back up again.
Neither my husband nor myself were using IPC360 at the time, so some creeper was watching my son. I unplugged it immediately and I won’t be sleeping tonight.
If you don’t know how to encrypt it - and of course it doesn’t come with instructions to do so - please do not get this product. Even with secure internet, it took less than 24 hours to be hacked.

Slow to ship from China had it for two days resetting after resetting still have NO BLINKING RED LIGHT to even start to connect warns not compatible with latest 5g I have Xinfinty high speed dual band best service going with fiber optic speeds yet this junk can’t even connect I tried wireless and wired both still no red blinking light red light solid but clicks every 10 seconds tried resetting still same if I would have known beforehand it was China junk I would have stayed away now just a waste of 70 bucks I bet they won’t even refund but I’ll try

For some reason IPC360 was not able to get the WiFi name my phone was connected to. It showed “null” and there was no way to proceed. I was only able to set it up by using my old iPhone 6 on same WiFi network. The instructions do not tell you what is supposed to happen but the phone is supposed to audibly communicate with the camera to help it connect but it needs the WiFi ssid and password first. I would rate the instructions inadequate (poor) when things don’t go right.

The camera quality was surprisingly good and night time viewing was unbelievable. With the lights almost all the way off, I could still see the room in pretty good detail. The issue I had was with the installation. It took at least 6 tries before the installation took. I kept getting an installation error to check the router password or two other settings that I checked and confirmed multiple times for accuracy. I came close to returning the product back to the retailer.

A lot of people can’t seem to figure IPC360 out. It’s not rocket science. It’s easy to share the camera with another account, the picture is good. There’s a minor lag moving the camera remotely, but zoom in and that’s minimized. If you expect a support staff to take you by the hand, don’t use FREE software. It does what I need and didn’t cost me anything. What’s not to like?

Like all new electronic gadgets I had to try a few times to put it in operation. Once it was working I was impressed by the features and clarity.

My only disappointment is it appears you can only have one camera per account. If that is not true, I couldn’t find a way to share one camera on two or more phones.

Otherwise, I have no complaints.

We have security cameras at work that were way more expensive than this. Yet Victor has more features and abilities than the ones at work. I have bought two of them and have recommended the product to several people. The connectivity is spotty at times, but it still is a great product.

i use this camera 9 of them they are good the app is pain in ass. it auto logout and login for no reason. and when multiple people login in same account then it happen too. server upload is low it is always around 200 kbps max and download is also same. app can be must better

Constant connection problems months after working just fine. Now constantly unable to load camera feed, having to check back later, reset device, etc. very poor product quality.

I downloaded the app and about 800 icons went into my photo album. Is there a reason why the app downloads that many icons?
