You have been warned!!! do not risk your services for this company... immediately you have to pay $50 in order to become a provider with no guarantee of ever receiving a job. I personally went several weeks without ever receiving a job. Sometimes the jobs they send you could be 70 miles away and then you will have to decide if it’s worth the drive though the pictures are almost always miss leading, So determining that is always difficult. The only line of communication is through text and there is a delay because tackle acts as a middleman to monitor all text so you never get an immediate response if you get one at all. The customer is never banned or kicked from the Platform. However if you arrive to the job and the job is more than what was described for instance, you show up for a one person job that is actually a two person job and have to cancel or have to ask the customer to cancel you will be immediately suspended from the platform with an uncertainty of returning. I do not recommend wasting your time, energy, & money to become a provider there are other platforms that I am sure are a lot better and more Advanced than this one. One last thing I should’ve mentioned if you do become a provider in need help or need to speak to support, give up! they have no way of communicating other than text, you cannot call someone to explain the situation and Takl does not trust their providers which was clearly mentioned throughout an issue I had with a customer who was trying to receive more work for less money which is a common situation I have dealt with and have bit my tongue long enough!

I’ve been a very successful ‘provider’ on a different platform for 4 years and wanted to branch out and try some others as well, I got booted off this one on the first day. I accepted a job that had the description ‘I need help moving a couch,’ which I was selected for, but no other information was provided. I also couldnt contact the client bc their system prevents you from doing that until one hour before the job was to begin. So I contact the help chat to get more info, at which point she tells me I need a vehicle for this job which I don’t have. I told her I didn’t see anything in the description about needing a car, to which she replies “it’s the provider’s responsibility to know what to bring.” How the hell am I supposed to know that from that description, and especially when I can’t contact the client beforehand for more details? So I had to cancel the task, which automatically suspends your provider account, at which point you’re prompted to email the company and explain, which I did, and I never received a reply, nor was my account ever turned back on. This was in April of this year, it’s now August, I can’t believe even the most incompetent of companies take 5 months to read and reply to an email. I’ve done almost 2000 jobs successfully on the other platform, with a very high rating, and have never had a problem like this. And the app also forces you to look at a warning to not accept cash in any form every-single-time-you-open-it, which becomes a lot more annoying than it sounds if you use the app a lot, and it’s also vaguely condescending as they appear to think you’re an idiot who needs to be reminded of that 35 times a day

Had a bit of a slow start with Takl. Finally got enough jobs to have a rating. Got about 20 jobs in and all 5 stars. Got to one lady’s job and she paid for me to be there 3 hrs. I got there and started the job. After I had been there a couple of hrs I went to take pics and noticed the app had dumped the pics I had taken and gone back to the navigate screen. The job started at 9:00 and I was there before that. I had to start it in the app again at 11:00 and left at 12:00 to head to another customers place. In that 3 hr time the lady went to get hardware taking one of the brackets with her as a reference. She returned with hardware that wouldn’t fit through the holes in the bracket. She also changed her mind on where holes were to be drilled after drilling began. Before I left she was gonna have me come back after she had gotten the proper hardware. I left my personal hardware kit that had a couple of what she needed there so she could get the right studs. After I finished with my next client I contacted her to set a time to come back through the app.(she had asked me before I left to come back for cash instead and I declined saying that could get me deactivated and she would need to set it up through the app) She then informed me that her and her boyfriend had gotten the hardware and finished the job themselves. She then contacted Takl the next day complaining that I had drilled in the wrong spot and left before the job was done. Takl deactivated me and charged me 50$ for this lady’s inability to properly plan or find hardware that could fit before the job was started.
