4.2 out of 5
Eiffel Tower

If you want to stare at the Eiffel Tower WebcamsWorldView is great!! Nothing else works..oh I guess you can also look at a little green screen in the upper right of the screen that has a circle going round and round

Where is the restore purchase!!!

It is a great app, however I will give it a one star until they fix the restore app feature. So far I paid $25 for ad free on my Apple TV and another $25 for my iPhone, and now I get the ads on my iPad and I cannot restore my purchases.

This is just not right!

Nothing Free at all! Don’t download unless

you got your credit cards out and ready! False advertising and fake rating and reviews.

boo for false advertising

This is not a free app. As soon as you open it, it tells you that you have to subscribe for it to do anything.

Can’t restore my purchase

I purchased offer I received and now it don’t work. After it updated I can’t restore my purchase.

Do not buy for Apple TV

Do not buy WebcamsWorldView for your Apple TV. It freezes all the time and then you have to delete WebcamsWorldView and reload it. The controls are pretty much non-existing. A total waste of time and money. Total scam.

JUST ADS

Every cam I choose required a purchase Pages and pages of ads FOR WebcamsWorldView pop up and when I closed them a survey popped up asking me why I didn't want to buy, I played along and picked 'not ready yet' but 40 seconds later there was another ad I had to reject and another survey asking me why. Not fun at all.

Great app but now almost no webcams work

I loved WebcamsWorldView. Recently, however, almost none of the webcams work. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn’t solve the problem.

Most webcams links are broken or required paid subscription

Cancelled my subscription. Owners of app don’t seem to want to make an effort to maintain live camera status.

Too Expensive...

WebcamsWorldView is way too expensive just to watch cameras on a screen. $35 a year is over board. It should only be $10 a year. It’s an app. Not a piece of jewelry.

No map and no way to search

I’ve had a few world webcam apps over the years and the ones I liked the most had a map and a way to search for a particular place. Without that, WebcamsWorldView seems pointless to me.

Free seems better than paid

I used the free version of WebcamsWorldView for quite a while and loving some of the free cams. Decided if the free ones are this good the paid version has to be better. Yet nope. Now I can’t even see a lot of the free ones I was seeing prior to signing up. Dublin, NY, Copa and many more. It says live and shows a signal strength moving but all it shows is the wallpaper prior to the live footage. Also noticed a few “live cams” weren’t exactly live. Started one and it showed a woman falling down, switched to a few others, went back to original and she’s faking down again. I know they can’t control all the cams but it makes me fear I’m paying for majority of replays and down cams. FWIW my home net speeds are fast and even my Apple TV is using cat5 not wireless. So I know it’s not my end. Hop it gets better because the wife and I really enjoyed the free version

This app is disappointing.

Maybe it’s just they need the free version, but I’ll be damned if I buy into the subscription culture and pay a monthly fee for something like this. I’m so sick of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE going the subscription route. It’s dumb, NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE A FREAKING SUBSCRIPTION! It’s not worth it. That rant aside, the cams almost never work. They’re either always frozen or just won’t load. Don’t bother wasting your time.

Not working on appletv

Guys-I love WebcamsWorldView so much. It’s provided me so much comfort during lockdown being able to feel like Incan travel and be with other people. But in the last month since I purchased the full subscription, WebcamsWorldView doesn’t work on appletv anymore. I can turn it on and choose only one city, and after that it gets stuck. I can “go back” to the main menu. To exit WebcamsWorldView I have to actually hold down the menu button instead of backing out by tapping. Then when I turn WebcamsWorldView on again it’s automatically still at the last city I was in. In order to see another city I have to restart the entire appletv. It’s frustrating and it makes me want to cancel my subscription. Thanks for listening and hopefully this bug can get fixed soon. Cheers.

Good, not great

WebcamsWorldView on the tv could use some tweaking. White letters on a white background is kind of ridiculous. Search feature could be improved, and it seems like a lot of the feeds I try to watch are offline. I know that’s out of their control, but I wish there was a way to see if it was offline before clicking on them.

High potential — many rough edges

Definitely layout, favorites, labeling, etc. work well. How it presented was “fun” and “enticing”. My compliments.

The feeds that are interesting and have sound are a win. I already found some of the feeds without sound on the net elsewhere.

The rough edges:
Presenting a sense of time of day for world live streaming would be a help when looking at close to black or oddly monochromatic pictures of “beach” or other low to no light scenes in the country.

Impatient and easily frustrated to the point of getting rid of WebcamsWorldView part is not getting “Sorry, the webcam is offline now ...” for a busted camera. Hit that a few times with “Please, wait for HD quality”.

Free trial status, purchase and what to do next is a mess. WebcamsWorldView is called “Webcam World View” and many places it is called “CAM+”. Don’t know from the language or view when my free trial ends.

Googled WebcamsWorldView to try and understand this limited time offer that presents no price. Bumbled around to purchase this 80% off of something $25 instead of $9.99 per month. The purchased failed.

I may go a month and cancel. I may cancel tomorrow. The $10 a month is fairly steep price point compared to my other subscriptions.

many webcams around the world

I like WebcamsWorldView , I would love to get a free trial longer than 3 days!
The open webcams are in good quality

Love these camera locations.

This is a great app! Always adding new locations.
Never boring, and the developers actually respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Best Webcam app available!

This great webcam app is working again and has the best HD cameras from around the world of any app available. It does require a monthly subscription (or a one-time) fee to unlock all of the features but is well worth the price.

Back on top!

I was frustrated that WebcamsWorldView didn’t work for me since four updates ago. I’m happy to report that the team finally nailed the problem with the crashing. Not only did they fix it, but they stayed in touch with me during their problem-solving process. They kept me informed as to how they were progressing; they asked me questions as to the nature of the malfunctions, and generally assured me that they would not give up til they found the problem. This is by far the best developer involvement I’ve ever experienced. I’m glad to have use of WebcamsWorldView again. And with all the cameras, views, and features, in my book, they are again the very best “live camera” app out there. Thanks team!
