I subscribed to try out AudioFix and was under the free trial period. Did not like AudioFix and promptly cancelled it. However, they still charged my card. I tried with Apple to refund that amount and they denied that request and denied it on appeal. They wanted evidence of why I needed a refund but there is no way to upload photos of my evidence to do so. They ripped me off. So don’t fall into that trap.

No functions seem to work. There is no audible difference. Even volume booster doesn’t work. The only thing that works is the no audio function. Also, AudioFix is constantly asking for your iTunes password. So doesn’t work, but really wants you to enter your iTunes password. I’ll let you jump to your own conclusion about what that probably means.

Update for developer response: I am signed into my Apple account. Didn’t get the password pop up before installing AudioFix , didn’t get it when I closed AudioFix , didn’t get it when I deleted AudioFix . I only when it was open. So AudioFix was the trigger. Also, I’m using an iPhone XS on the latest iOS. So how about you make AudioFix work and not blame it on my phone. I’m not the only reviewer with that issue so it’s not just my device.

Beware of signing up for the free trial. I was charged for an annual subscription the same day I signed up for the trial. I was not supposed to be charged anything as long as I cancelled the trial before the end of the 3 days and I cancelled the trial the same day I signed up for it. I have seen other reviews that mention the same thing and apple has denied my dispute twice and won’t refund my money.

Beyond this, AudioFix is mediocre at best and barely improved the sound of the video I was editing. The different options for fixes either made the sound worse or made such a subtle improvement it is hard to notice. So I paid $16 for an almost useless app when I wasn’t supposed to be charged at all and am very unhappy.

It’s a scam, get both volume bars and match them up evenly it’s funny because it won’t let you raise the volume of the old are you that you’re comparing so drop the “new enhanced”Volume to match the comparing one told her even hold it up to your ears play it through speakers whatever you wanna do are used are you monitors because I have them and there’s absolutely no difference. I think that his one muscles a little bit but that’s kind of it

Used it to try and clean up some audio for a video I was making, it actually worked horribly so that my original audio was actually better than the one they had claimed to fix.

There are so many options for audio that it would be an amazing app if they actually fixed the audio. Not to mention the HUGE WATERMARK that covers 20% of the video if you’re not willing to pay $5 monthly subscription.

Honestly AudioFix was such a huge disappointment that it’s inspired me to write my first bad review.

The only enjoyment I’ve gotten from AudioFix was the ability to uninstall it, other than that it was a complete waste of time to use.

AudioFix just straight up does not work.
I have a video where there is a loud air conditioner in the background and AudioFix does not even touch that sound when trying any of the options. Low hiss, high hiss etc. it doesn’t change anything. The only change I see is just removing the audio altogether, you can do that with AudioFix, and every other video app. There is another app in AudioFix Store that lets you edit the video but tries to make you pay before you can export. That app removed the background noise from my video, I will just have to pay for that one I guess, at least it’s possible with that one even if they try to trick you to pay. AudioFix does nothing.

I purchase the 4 day trial to see how it worked. My goal was to remove noise from a video. AudioFix gives you options and you can compare the different sound removal options. But it doesn’t fully cancel all the noise or removes the noise. The main problem was when you export the file, it doesn’t export with the noise cancelation chosen. I tried a few times but nothing changed.

On Audio Fix app, after clicking on “contact us” a pop up appears showing text “Email is not configured on this device.” I used email shown on their website (linked from Twitter page) and email was invalid. Why not just show the email to make it easy?

I wanted to email support to try to problem solve why app isn’t appearing to better the audio I’m attempting to clean.

Disappointing experience.

Loaded in a 1-minute long video of some quiet outdoor sounds, AudioFix glitched in analyzing the audio and immediately started playing loud screeches into my Apple earbuds, I literally had to yank them out of my ears. When I tried again, the audio on all settings was just a max volume hiss, but when I held the “Original” audio preview button, the video sound was normal as it was. This might only be an issue with longer videos because I didn’t have my eardrums busted out with any shorter 20-30 sec clips. Only when choosing 1m+ videos, I get the high-pitched screeching.

I tried your demo. Does not appear to remove noise. Tried another app, which strips all ambience. I need to remove PA and stage noises from concert footage. I don't have the time, permission or crew to install duplicate full audio at every location.
TAKE TWO:
OK, I took the iPad into a sound booth so I could hear if anything was happening. There seems to be something going on. Filters seem overwhelmed by volume boost. There seems to be a weakness dealing with impulse noises like electric fans, which are a major problem at summer music venues.

The fact AudioFix thought i would pay a cent for things i can individually do in less then a minute manually was the funniest part make me watch a ad to export the video maybe 2 and we would be fine don't let me export one video and give me a false sense that theres a pro version with more features

Its not good enough for me to even pay a dollar for this woulda taken things by storm if it where early 2010s or better yet late 2000s though 😂

Original…I wasted my money! It will not download a 24 sec audio file from my phone. It just keeps saying analyzing video! Don’t waste your money. It NEVER downloaded the file!

Update…the developers contacted me after my review. I will say the above comment is a bit strong but I was agitated on the fact I purchased something that wasn’t working properly. What I am trying to do is important. I am trying to enhance an audio file of a loved one whom recently past. I finally did get the audio file to upload and went through some of the “correction” comparisons. For me it honestly only sounded like it adjusted the volume because when I played it back at max volume it still sounded staticy/hissy. I have a newer iphone and the audio file was taken inside of a house on my iphone. Apparently it picks up every single sound. I am just trying to reduce hissing in the background and get the person speaking to sound louder. It worked a little but not as much as I was hoping for.

Perhaps I was expecting more than I should from an app. I will say it’s very easy to use, but the benefit just didn’t seem like it was there. You start with a demo, that you can test reduction effects like removing hiss or wind. But all of them had such a minor effect, it seems more like they just increase the audio to make you feel there’s a real difference. The only setting I found half way decent for my application was audio smoother. Still not worth it in my opinion though. And with the demo if you want to export anything you have to pay as with most so called free apps. I just ended up deleting AudioFix without even checking the price.

So one thing is that can you make where we can rise the volume higher that than I’ll do a 5 star rating

I run every video through AudioFix before posting online and it’s really made a difference. My videos are louder and clearer than almost all other videos in the feed. I’ve gotten more likes and followers because of it. Thanks so much for making AudioFix!!

Cool app, very user friendly and simple. But at the same time that might be the downside of it for some users, I am missing a few things.
1. I would really like to have the option to customize and gradually adjust individual parameters, and play around with custom sound fixes.

2. I would like to be able to gradually adjust existing sound fixes, and be able to make them stronger then they are right now, so I don’t have to use the same sound fix multiple times on the same video.

3. The audio fix seems to remove high pitched whining sounds, which are not bad noise and I don’t want to remove them. I don’t know how the program works, but those whining sounds increase or decrease gradually, like a nice curve. The bad noise doesn’t do that, bad noise is irregular and not gradual like that. Maybe it would be possible for the program to detect the difference.

4. I would really like to have an equalizer.

5. The way you load new videos with the refresh button is a little weird but ok, a simple + and automatic refresh would do it if you ask me.
But it seems that it is buggy too and often I have to restart AudioFix to load new videos. Issues are either that it doesn’t ask me to load new videos, or that it doesn’t want to refresh after selecting new videos.
The first time after starting AudioFix it seems to always work.

I purchased AudioFix. The pro version. One time payment and now i went touse it and it wants me to repurchase it as a subscription. Way way way over priced in the first place. So I am leaving a bad review instead of being ripped off. Hope the devs are happy now.

I recorded my son to make homework videos for his school but I didn’t know my iPhone microphone was broken. I was so sad, I didn’t want to spend two hours trying to remake the videos again and I start searching for something to fix it. I found AudioFix and it normalize all of my audios in my videos... I’m so happy. Thank you Audio fix for making a mama happy.

Better than most of the other options. I wish there was a broadband equalizer but, it’s quick, simple and easy to use. The white nose doesn’t really go away, though. Some other applications are better for that tire is background noise. If it had the ability to eliminate white noise and amplify whispering, this would be the BMOC of audio scrubbing

I payed for the unlimited plan and not even 6 months later am being asked to purchase the same unlimited plan. What exactly does unlimited purchase actually mean??
