The second half of 2021, the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH created a platform to manage the COVID certificate pass, a documentary evidence that you have had a COVID-19 vaccination, have had and recovered from the disease or have tested negative.

COVID Certificate Check appThe other component of the platform was the COVID Certificate Check app, which enabled public places and event organizers to check the validity of the Swiss COVID certificate or any certificate being compatible with the EU Digital COVID Certificate.

SocialScan is authorized to use the FOPH check app API, to offer the feature of checking the covid certificate validity while maintaining the tracing feature when required.

COVID Certificate app In Switzerland, people who have been vaccinated, or who have tested negative or recovered from COVID can apply for a COVID certificate via this official app.

Presenting the QR code Covid certificate together with an ID became mandatory to access public places and events.

Visitor data can be captured by scanning the Covid certificate QR-Codes and the arrival time.

COVID certificate data is stored solely on the mobile device via the FOPH app.

Swiss constituents were able to store the COVID certificate in paper form or in the COVID Certificate app.

SocialScan allows organizations to comply with the 2 requirements in a single scan: registering clients on behalf of tracers of the Health Authority and making sure only those who have access are vaccinated, healed or tested negative.
