this app is a leader in high school digital ticketing for several reasons. First, the customer service offered by this app is second to none. They are constantly working to stay on the forefront of the needs of the high school and fans in the high school space. Also, the multifunctional method of receiving your tickets via email, app, or in real time makes purchasing simple. Costs to purchase online is comparable if not better than the competitors. Payment options from credit card to Apple Pay allows buying tickets to go smoothly especially after the original purchase. And finally, the ease to validate on site makes getting into the events a breeze. Great product + Great Customer Service = Winning Team (this app).

We pre-purchased tickets for a game at a school in a different county. Upon arriving at the school we were told that the school NEVER sells tickets online and does NOT have an account with this app. We ended up having to pay (again!) cash to get in to the game. We immediately contacted this app to try and resolve this issue and we were told that they have a no refund under any circumstance policy. I am not sure how this app gets away with selling tickets to a school that they don’t have an account with. So buyer beware!! Don’t purchase this app tickets in advance because EVEN if they advertise the game tickets on their site, they may not do you any good when you get there. Lesson learned, money lost— we will never pre-purchase tickets on this app again. We will wait till we are at the ticket counter to ensure the school actually uses this app. Also, I will be petitioning for OUR county to stop using this app or at least offer a cash option so that I don’t get my money stolen again!

I used this service to buy tickets to an away game for my son’s baseball team. The service was fast and easy to use. What I didn’t notice when I purchased the tickets is that there was a softball game scheduled at the same time between the same two schools and I accidentally bought tickets to the softball game. I emailed customer service and they were able to cancel my purchase the following day. After I purchased the correct tickets, the baseball game ended up being canceled because of field conditions and the school issued a refund without issue. I prefer the ease of use of this service over the system that our school athletic program uses.

I didn’t realize the school was only selling tickets online. I was told I could either buy through the website or GoFan so decided to download GoFan . Super easy to create an account and search the school. Once I bought the tickets they were saved in my account and easy to access when I got to the gate! I even “❤️” the school so I can search events faster!! Told all my family members to download and use moving forward!

After the last update, Only half the events listed for my school have shown up in my app. To get the tickets, I have to find someone who can see the event listed on their app and have them send me the link. This was never an issue before, but now it’s a huge inconvenience, especially with limit ticket sales.

***I have updated. Refreshed. Tried the website. Deleted and redownloaded GoFan . Everything. I’ve called the schools directly to make sure they are available on GoFan when I don’t see them. There’s currently a game available now with tickets that I can’t see through GoFan, but someone sent me the purchase link to from their phone.

I got GoFan and paid with Apple Pay for some tickets. Not once did it ask for a login or email. Paid and waited for something to happen or prompt for an email. Nothing. Checked the apple wallet. Nothing. Checked my bank. Charged for the tickets. Go back to GoFan and it wants me to buys tickets again. All the reviews that say great customer service must be old because I can not find any contact info to get customer service. I tried Facebook and the automated message is says they are away. Looked for refund options and how convenient, no refunds allowed. What a terribly designed app and non existent customer service. Absolutely avoid this if possible.

The only way to communicate with them if you have a problem is email. I have asked twice now for someone to call me and they have not. To pull up the passes my son used his student email and we paid for 2 all sports passes for over $150 only then did GoFan prompt you to create a login and my son typed an invalid email address. I have been emailing back and forth with them. After numerous attempts they sent me the “incorrect email” and told me this is the only way to login to see my sports passes. They are not able to resolve the problem on their end. I do not understand how an app can not fix the problem on their end.

I cannot believe junk to come from this pandemic. GoFan has been sold to high schools as a safe way to manage entry fees. While slowly robbing the poor parents. It’s already bad enough that the schools charge an arm and a leg for entry to every game in an attempt to fund their programs. Now thus app takes its slice as well.

GoFan doesn’t work great, then on top of everything you can’t leave the building once you’re there because, I don’t know someone might not get their cut.

I wish we could just say no but you have the perfect storm. Cant very well tell my kids I’m not going to watch them can I. I hope the high schools will smarten up and put this app in the trash!

I find it ridiculous that schools are using this and in turn charging parents/fans even more money through the apps fees - charging an additional 15-20%. Parents have to pay for the kids to play school sports, then they have to dish out even more money for all the extra things they need, then they have to pay to watch their kids play the sport, then get it up the backside in the ridiculously high app fees.
I also find it crazy that you can’t save a credit card to your account and have to plug it in Every. Single. Game.
Schools should offer the option to accept cash and this app needs to charge WAY less on the fees - it’s a rip off!

GoFan never works. If I could give it negative stars I could. My log in never works. I set up an account with a school preferences. Every single time I have to search for the school again. It usually says No Events when I know there is at least one event. I buy tickets but they don’t show up in my tickets so I have had to re-purchase tickets multiple times. GoFan is a total hassle. By the time I get to the game I’m agitated from trying to get GoFan to work, re-searching for the school and trying (in vain) to find my tickets. I really wish our high school would stop using GoFan ! Hate, hate, hate using it. Did I mention I hate GoFan ?!?!

I purchased tickets for my son’s baseball game. Later in the day, I inadvertently deleted the e-mail with the ticket links. Panic set in as we neared game time. I sent an e-mail to this app customer service for assistance and they responded within 20 minutes with the ticket link — crisis averted! GoFan makes ticket-purchasing very efficient. SO appreciate the ease in using this app and the quick response from the customer service team!!

Hate having to use GoFan but have no choice if I want to go to my kids games. Purchased tickets and the other team cancelled the game 2 hours after I HAD to purchase through GoFan. GoFan charges convenience fees for EVERY ticket purchased then won’t refund nor give u a credit even due to cancelled games because of Covid. During the pandemic GoFan will be making a crap load of money taking advantage of people who want to go to their kids games and forced to use this app to do so and even when their games are cancelled. Wouldn’t recommend GoFan to anyone and really hate that I have to use it myself.

Schools have seemingly adopted this platform in a response to the pandemic but it highlights a culture of profits over parents. Firstly, the platform does not always function properly and typically needs to be refreshed several times to find the desired event. Secondly, EACH ticket purchased incurs an extremely high ‘convenience’ fee of $1. I don’t consider it convenient when forced to pay this cost when no other options are available. Sometimes this convenience fee equals as much as 20% of the ticket value. For youth athletics, this platform should reconsider their fees and make the interface more user friendly.

School forced all ticket sales over to this one company's app. Not only do the tickets now have a 20% price increase to use GoFan , but GoFan constantly pesters the user into providing location information EVERY time it opens. Ask once then stop asking for goodness sakes.
It is bad enough that we now have a 20% price increase and this is the only way to pay for tickets to our games, but constantly asking for location info makes me highly suspiscious the company does more with location data than just "help" you find your school.

I’ve been using GoFan to buy middle school football and basketball game tickets since the COVID-19 precautions have forced a cashless gate requirement.I have found GoFan to be very stable and 100% successful in my ticket buying experience. But, the one thing I will say could make this better is to be able to use Apple Pay. It gets old having to re-enter the credit card info over and over again.

Awaiting tickets to go on sale for the rest of the family but with no notifications of them being on sale, it’s a crap shoot. Reward those of us who downloaded GoFan .

We have had to use go fan for most of our kids sports this year. Fine with me if that’s how we keep doing it! Super easy to order, so glad uses Apple Pay! I accidentally double ordered not long ago when WiFi glitched and they responded and refunded my error in super short period of time!

I tried to purchase a ticket and GO-FAN said that the numbers i typed in were incorrect and there were no charges made and so i typed it in again and it said my card was expired, which it’s not. Then they proceeded to charge my account two times after saying that no charges were made. I did not receive tickets but was still charged twice. This happened back in October as well, I was charged but never received the tickets. I don’t recommend GoFan to anyone.

I found GoFan very easy and convenient to use. We also had a situation where our son missed a game due to illness a few hours before kickoff. this app refunded our tickets within about 30min of my request. They responded quickly and were very gracious. Thank you!

I literally bought tickets for a game tonight on GoFan since I use digital ticketing with many sports teams in my city I was happy to see this as a High school Football option. The purchase was easy but then when I pulled up the tickets I thought redeem was to download like when Day Ticketmaster sends to claim your tickets . This is a very poor feature I would hope you improve to a scan only type technology. That being said I was worried to not be able to have tickets to the game and called the customer service line and got a voicemail prompting me to email them. I was immediately skeptical that I would not hear back with the game 2 hours away, but to my surprise I received a email within 5 minutes from Danielle who reestablished my tickets . Fantastic and quick customer service turn around . App needs a bit more but service was top notch in my book.

From reading reviews it appears many schools use this in different formats. Our school district allows fans to use GoFan/service to buy a season pass to all sporting events at the 3 high schools. Pay one lump sum, avoid lines to buy tickets and maybe come out ahead $$ when all is done.

So far it worked fine. Buying wasn’t very difficult. I bought on a pc, got GoFan , used same email and login and tickets synced fine. But every time I go to an event and try to quickly pull up my mobile pass GoFan requires a new login with email and password. Super inconvenient when there’s a line of people behind you. It’s not like this is my bank app where I want that level of security. Just remember my credentials on my phone and don’t make me sign on every time. Please and thank you.

I just used app for first time. Everything loads really fast. I bought tickets from this app website on my desktop when I saw their ad for their app. GoFan downloaded in 10 secs, literally. I then logged in, which besides typing my login info, was instant. I went to "my tickets" and there they sat. If things go haywire at game, I'll update my review to let you guys know. So far does as advertised

Tried to login from GoFan and it keeps saying go to google for latest version. GoFan is only updated to 3.6 but the website version is at a 3.27.1. How do you expect people to use GoFan and buy tickets if you won’t keep your software updated to the latest version. And it won’t even let you update. This is ridiculous. I just better be able to get in my sons game Saturday after my husband has already spent the money on the website to buy the tickets. Keep you stuff updated or don’t have an App for that!!!

What a useless piece of trash app. I purchased the tickets on my computer using the “login with Facebook” option. When I attempt to login to GoFan to see my tickets - the Facebook login option doesn’t work. What a waste of money and time. Don’t even bother trying to use GoFan . Do you believe they charge a convenience fee for it not to even work. Should have just bought tickets at the gate. This is the FURTHEST thing from convenient I have ever experienced.

Loved it when we first got it but it constantly shows a white screen after the first time we log in. Open once-good...open again-white screen of death! Have to delete and reinstall to get to the tickets. Searched the school and while trying to find the pass I wanted, the school stopped showing up in the search. GoFan is so awful! I hate the fact that this is what we HAVE to use to get a family pass. Fix GoFan!

GoFan literally never works when you need it to, which for me is when I am standing at the ticket gate trying to get into a high school football or basketball game. GoFan never loads! Why high schools use this service is beyond me. It’s incredibly frustrating trying to get GoFan to load while other people in line paying cash walk right by you. This should be easier than paying cash, but instead it’s downright annoying.

If there was a way to give zero stars I would. Bought tickets and showed up to the game only to have GoFan not load them. We weren’t the only people having issues and many people missed the first quarter trying to get through the gates.

Tried tonight to buy tickets for next game and GoFan tells me there is an update. Won’t install or give me the option to install. I’m done with this garbage and will just pay cash at the gate.

Will not let me update from 3.12 to 3.27. When I delete and try to re upload, GoFan data says it is still 3.12. Y’all better do something or just get out of the business. On my first game I bought the tickets, got the email which would not open the tickets. Finally forwarded to Facebook which would open the tickets. But that’s too darn much work for something that should be as easy as last year. FIX IT AND FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!

Slow as mud. Prompts for an upgrade on startup then does nothing. Still using two year-old screen sizes. Tickets are full of ads that don’t work and instead say “placeholder-image”. Buy a ticket and you get a “Validate” checkbox with a huge message above telling you *not* to validate it. Has a “Messages” section with nothing in it and no explanation of what it’s for. We now pay *more* for tickets than Eventbrite and get a laughably inferior product. Bummer.

Horrible, nothing will load, appears to charge me but nothing goes through and GoFan just spins. I email support and they say they are having issues. It’s Friday night across America and GoFan is down. Can’t believe our school choose to use these this. Old Stufent Cards worked just fine. Sometimes Tech just gets in the way. Based on other mostly 1 star reviews this company was no where near ready to go live.👎👎

DO NOT USE!!!

GoFan allows you to log in from Facebook. When you choose that option it redirects you to a web browser which then has you log into Facebook. The browser then redirects you to a webpage version of GoFan with you logged in, but never logs you in via GoFan .

My debit card was also charged for tickets but I never received a confirmation email and the tickets do not show up in my account on the web page.

The only available customer support option is email and they have not responded. I guess I’ll have to call my bank and stop the charge in order to get my money back.

I choose to sign in through Facebook, takes me to the same exact page on safari, click sign in through Facebook, takes me to another tab which finally is Facebook. I press continue. I sign in. But on safari on the tab. Not GoFan . I close the tabs. Go back to GoFan . Nope. Not signed in. Happens every time.

Bought tickets on website. Can’t login w Facebook so I try registering w personal email address- says I already have account and yet no tickets in account. Trying not to print tickets - have deleted and redone loaded AP way too many times. Went into to Facebook to unlink accounts / then I can’t get on personal email address.

I have downloaded and redownloaded a bunch of times! I have “bought” tickets for several games. None show in “my tickets”. I have attempted to contact Huddle with zero success. (Thankfully the charges for the tickets never posted on my credit card.) Wish there was another option for local mobile tickets.... because this option BLOWS!
