Beautiful, data driven site - love the ability to do so much all from one place!

this app is the new way to sell and store sports cards. I absolutely love their app layout and functionality!

They ask you to fill out surveys and promise money in return but never deliver on the money. I don’t like companies that lie to get what they need. But Alt hardly ever worked for what it was needed for anyways so I would stay away from Alt and use others that work well at a more consistent basis.

love ALTing cards at shows (when there’s good internet). Best tool for seeing comps. Great auction inventory too

I was once concerned ab giving them my SS # ….. but I have gotten great deals off this. Bought ab 35k in PSA 10’s of the guys I collect. I also sent them 20 cards to their vault & no issues. No need to be scared peep, it’s mainly for a 1099 maybe. Like I said only bought on this.

Keeps crashing

The instant pricing tool is fantastic, makes scanning slabs and seeing sell history very easy. I would love to buy/sell on the platform but I never give out my full SSN with identity theft being so prevalent for the purpose of buying trading cards. I’m very surprised they ask for it when no other auction house does. If they could verify identity using the last 4 digits of my SSN I’d be completely in, I’m sure others would too.

this app provides a great service for scanning and pricing graded cards. However, their service as a buying platform is pretty subpar. I deposited money into my account Sunday and as of Thursday it still has not landed. You need money in your account to make a bid or buy anything listed on the site. This long settlement time, especially compared to other payment services, will lead me to take my buying business elsewhere.

Alt is, hands down, the best in the field that I’ve used and it can only get better from here. Customer service has always treated me well and I anxiously look forward to what’s to come.

My heart fluttered when I saw the feature for using my phones camera to value cards, what a disappointment to find out its only reading text off the grading (none of my cards are graded). If it used photo recognition to match the card (like reverse image search) it’d be amazing.

I also am unable to add to my collection. Nothing happens when i tap the text field on that tab. Why cant i add from the search page?

Why is ungraded not an option, is there no price data for ungraded (but with no blemishes of course) cards?

Very cool app though, hope when I go see a grader these cards get 10s.

Finally someone did it right and created an app that works for data congregation and research. Great product love the cards and research functions.

Information this would provide seems very interesting but not proven as of yet. Once I see a lot of good reviews in a row then I’ll think about joining. I’m not sure on services, I don’t know if I like it even when I buy it. Then I heard you got to send money before you do anything. Ill pass. Someone will come up with something free and easy to use that I can try.

It’s rare to find an app that makes it actually fun to do something you love like buying cards or investing; this app does both!!

First off they want your Social Security number second off tried 30 different Pokémon cards it couldn’t read any of them then figured maybe I just couldn’t do Pokémon cards so I tried baseball cards and it couldn’t even read any of those out of 10 cards I feel like Alt is just a scam to get your Social Security number

First thing I have to say is I saw there add on instagram and I thought wow it can tell me the value of my cards, that’s great. It doesn’t unless you enter your social security number. Which I refuse to do. Alt has no how to use or tutorial video at all. Software seems like it has great potential just don’t see it yet.

Very refined and easy to use. Nowhere but up for this company, especially with Kaushik on the team!!

Ive tried three times to open the verify link sent to my email. It opens a webpage but Alt continues to say an error occurred. Hard to try it when Alt just doesn’t work.

Very good investing app should have more people using it

Cool app like all the data and layout all super easy and looks very good but I am not putting my social security number out why does Alt require one when no other buyer and seller app does very suspicious

Won’t allow logins. Thought maybe I forgot password, it won’t send me an email to recover password. Tried another email and set another account and it says my account is suspended. No support response.

New user of Alt and overall, good experience. Couple of suggestions for enhancements:
1. Great to have dual listings with eBay, but need to support all eBay selling options such as auctions and offers
2. Add support for integrations with other marketplaces than just eBay, such as PWCC, Goldin, etc…
3. Allow this app users to message others for negotiation purposes and allow both cash and/or trades
4. The UX when searching via the browse capability is awful-the cursor focus jumps around all over the place and the search should support fuzzy matching
5. Increase marketing efforts to make this app more well know in the industry. Need more users selling via this app vs. external
6. Improve performance, too slow
7. Every card listed should have an this app market price value available which should update in near real-time vs. batch jobs which appears to happen daily

Love how I can search across all platforms and track my cards in one place. Really low fees and pleasant buying experience as well

Great platform 10/10 the only thing I would love to see is to be able to what the cards value would be when raw.

New version crashes on all of my starred / saved cards when I click on them.

Alt is great but they don’t have a wide range of cards. Otherwise, it’s still a great app 👍

Great for buying or selling modern and vintage cards. It’s auction base app that really helps as well on value of your cards graded and non graded raw

The update where I need to verify my phone number has broken Alt , can’t do anything without it flashing up 10x a second. Can’t do a thing on Alt anymore.

I’ll be having my entire collection sent to Collector’s Vault. Y’all lost a lot of business when you couldn’t answer simple questions and told me cards were mislabeled when they weren’t.

Auction process is a mess.

I don’t see this company making it in the long run.

Alt requires your social security number… which is terrifying… I would have bought 2-3 cards totaling over $60k but I refuse to give out key information. I’ll stick to eBay

Why would you get rid of the this app value on the listings screen?? The only reason I liked Alt more than other collector apps

Alt needs more work with the card scanner. It is not accurate.

Really love the look and am considering sending in some cards to add to my portfolio soon. One thing I would recommend would be horizontal viewing especially on the iPad. Would be huge when I’m checking patterns with my own inventory. Keep up the great work!!!

Especially when cards are in cases, I switched to my regular camera app to see if it was my phone but it wasn’t the phone you just can’t focus the camera on Alt

this app is a great company with great employees who are true collectors. Prefer them over all the other Auction sites

Amazing is all I have to say

This is one of the most useful tools in card collecting and has changed the game on how efficient I can gain the most recent and pertinent sales and population information

This really is the best vault for cards compared to others like the PSA one, PWCC, etc… good functionality, and lots of features as well as good prices. Very low fees!

Honestly awful app. Seller has zero control over their items and when one of my items sold way below comps I still got hit with a 35% fee. I’ll say that again… A 35% FEE. Additionally the platform isn’t laid out very well and can be confusing at times. Just create your own eBay account you’ll be much better off.

Alt is crashing every time I press the camera icon to search. I have tried updating, deleting and reinstalling Alt , logging in and out, and even creating a new account. Nothing works. App is now useless to me.

Super useful tool for any level of interest in collecting sports cards.

Wish it had prices and comps on raw cards too, not just graded slabs.

If I could give Alt/site 6 out of 5 stars, I would. Selling cards is daunting and this company takes the effort out of it for the user.

It’s everything I need

this app is hands-down, the best sports card app and marketplace on the Internet. Allows you to easily see recent auction prices aggregated from eBay, heritage, Goldin and others. Also, their liquid auctions consistently carry great selection of both high-end cards as well as more entry level. I also use their vaulting service to store my cards in a safe and insured way.

Straight to the point. App works great. Does what I need it to do for the most part as far as research goes and seeing who the hot players are.

Issue is that Alt won’t update on its own. Very inconvenient to have to be reminded that Alt has an UPDATE AVAILABLE.

Great concept terrible execution. Frustrating when trying to set filters that don’t work to find cards you want. Going through 5000 gleybar Torres cards because you are only able to skip one page at a time is quite an experience.
