Quontic Bank Reviews

I deposited $100 to start my account. Then I wanted to transfer money to my brokerage account. So I deposited $1400. Because my account was not open for 30 days I had to do a written wire request form. The wire did not go through even after emailing my broker to check the wire was right; emailed Quontic support to make sure the wire was right. I have all emails as proof. I even sent my id and a picture of me holding my id. After all that they said the wire has to get a second approval. It should take two days. 4 Days later my account is banned AMA I can’t access any of my funds. I literally did everything right. Emailed their team and my brokers team, had all paperwork, id , everything you asked I went above and beyond and now you ban my account. Where is my money!!

Rejected my application because of a recent change of address. This seems like a questionable choice. People often require a new bank account after a move.
Customer service was not helpful and just asked me to “try again, it may work. But if it is rejected twice, we cannot offer any service to you”.

I was taken in by the high APY for the online savings account, but QuonticBank and the mobile website DO NOT let you add external transfer accounts. Zelle does not work, Plaid does not work. I can’t believe a bank advertising themselves as an “adaptive digital bank” can’t manage to have the same digital functionality as my old credit union which has no app and has a website that seems to have been developed in the 90s. Halfway convinced this is a scam and I’m shocked QuonticBank is rated so high as it has no functionality. It does constantly ask you to share your location data though, so we know what their motivations are. Will be closing my account once I’m able to get my money out.

I have used a few online savings accounts over the years to keep an emergency fund in and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The APY was attractive and overall reviews were good. I transferred funds from another online savings bank and the money arrived in a day. I quickly realized that I was unable to add an external bank account or even access Zelle. I was told that in order to withdraw funds it had to be initiated by an outside bank. Something felt weird so I tried to withdraw money to my regular bank account. It was either canceled or rejected. It took several phone calls and e-mails to start to get anywhere. I felt as if my money was being held hostage and what if I actually needed that money? After two weeks of phone calls and even a 3 way phone call with my regular bank was I able to start the process of closing my account. My money is now back safe in my original account. What a waste of time with Quontic. I am hoping that this was just bad luck, however I recently saw reviews with very similar experiences. Had I seen those reviews I would have never wasted my time. Look elsewhere.

The bank will stop the APR while you are in the process of application

If I tried to try and use Quontic as my main bank account I would have closed the account right after I opened it given how terrible their app is.

It’s about as basic and barebones as you can get…even their actual online banking through a browser is garbage too. Currently can’t add an external accounts for transfers at all with Quontic.

The only reason I’m keeping this is for the Bitcoin reward account. There is no other account like this currently. If there ever is an option to open a similar account elsewhere I’m sure I’ll close this account if Quontic doesn’t update their app experience.

But right now it’s a secondary account and I like the idea of getting cash back in Bitcoin since that can actually appreciate overtime.

I would say to Quontic to focus less on “being innovative” for the time being and focus on cleaning up your app and online experience to actually bring it into the 21st century. Innovative accounts are great but without good online tools I’m not sure what good an online bank is.

Besides some small grammatical and textual errors, a pretty good app and banking service . I do wish QuonticBank was updated more often though and I question why external transfers are enabled after 30 days. Great responsive customer service.

You can rename and reorder bank accounts on the website and now they show up in the same order on QuonticBank . Visually it is nicer now also.

The new app is a huge improvement.

At first glance it feels natural and familiar. I can immediately access the features and information I’m looking for.

Like others, I was initially frustrated with the onboarding process. However, customer support was generally responsive and I was able to link external accounts, and now my account activity is fully functional.

I love new app! It is exactly how I wanted it to be when I opened an account. It’s visually appealing and easy to understand. Now I can see all my transactions instead of the few it showed me in the last app. Thank you!!

You guys went all out with the update . We won’t talk about the old app because it’s gone now and that’s all that matters. I LOVE this update it makes so much sense. Thank you for changing that.

I love the new UI change of QuonticBank , it looks more modern and is much more intuitive to navigate through!
My only little nitpick is that the Zelle interface hasn’t changed, it looks a little out of place compared to the new UI of QuonticBank .

This is the best bank any one can have I have no issues with my money I get it when I want it and when I need it it’s good with pay checks as well the best part of this bank is the ring I promise you it’s nothing like accidentally leaving your wallet and you have your ring on and can just Zelle the money to it the greatest life saver ever I dropped my ring from the side of my hip it landed on tile floor so it stopped working ordered a new one the process was easy and fantastic but other wise this is the bank to have on the side 💯💯⚜️

What a huge update on this online bank platform . Highly reviewed now it’s up to par with other online banks and maybe even better now

I have had nothing but good experiences thus far with this online bank and the debit ring is awesome to have. QuonticBank is stable and simple but could use a few extra features. I hear a new app will be launched soon.

I really like the updated and refreshed mobile app! Great job in picking a new interface to migrate to. Best thing about this bank is the pay ring! It is a conversation starter when I talk to folks about it! One thing I would like to see integrated soon is debit card control. When can we expect that functionality to be enabled in the new version?

I was looking for a high interest checking account during the pandemic and I found Quontic Bank. I’ve had a good online experience and the new app has all the modern features you need. There’s a snapshot feature where you don’t have to log in to see your balance and current credit score. You get a full Vantage report along with your accounts. Very smooth and easy to navigate.

The new app has a much better look and feel to it. I especially liked snapshot and the biometric support being up front.
