Okay, you can't tap it all day with ease, but unless you tap the extreme N border, nothing happens. It is, however, a good app to help both young and not-so-young, native born America cans and immigrants, to learn the locations of states, and to memorize their capitols.
I learned this information long ago when I was in 8th grade, just about exactly 50 years ago (2019 now). We didn't have iPads or computers of any kind back then (yeah, I'm old), but we did have mimeographed pages of outlined US states to practice on. The unit exam was to fill in one of these outlines and match the appropriate capitals to their respective states. If you had learned them, it was fun; if not, it was torture! (By the way, I had fun!)
TO THE DEVELOPER: To solve the FL tapping issue, simply move the map up a little, and the problem will be instantly solved! I will gladly give StateTheStatesandCapitals 5 stars when the entire app works well. Just an aside, lose the beige -- it's boring! I'm thinking red, white, and blue,...patriotism, color, and contrast!
