I love TheHolyQuran but when you get to the end of the week it resets your spot! I want to continue reading from where I was at the week before but it completely jumped from the second Surah back to the beginning. Everything else about TheHolyQuran is amazing though and it is an amazing resource, especially if you have just converted/reverted as it has all the times for prayer and a compass showing you which direction the Makkah is in. Great app!

Alhamdulliah, I love using TheHolyQuran. The Tafsir is impeccable! It really breaks down the verse in an understanding way. Very easy to use and has really transformed my Ramadan. Do you guys have the Tafsir written down in a book form? I would love to have and own a Quraan with this particular Tafsir you guys have included in TheHolyQuran inside of it. Please let me know. Please make a way that I can control settings for daily verse notification. I would like to receive daily verse notification at a certain time.

Please make font bigger. I’m talking about the part where you have to choose the chapter. Like if I want to choose/click ‘Al Fatiha’ it is small but the font to read when you click is big. I would like to set the size font to large for that not just to read.

This is my first time throughly reading the Quran, ( TheHolyQuran has allowed me to) after multiple trials and errors with other apps.

I would like to touch upon the usefulness of the many features included within this application. Firstly, the page layout is customizable. You can choose what color you want for the header of the page, Light/Dark mode, font size, and so much more!

You also have the option to bookmark verses, and add titles/descriptions to it.

Moving on to the homepage, the minutes of time spent on TheHolyQuran , and the number of verses read are recorded, which is a great motivating factor to read more.

I’m sure there are many other features, that I have not yet explored since I just downloaded TheHolyQuran . However, I can say that I am for sure sticking with it! ❤️

Wonderful App. I do not know how to speak Arabic and being born and raise in America and half of my family being full white American I drifted away from Islam and religion. Luckily I came across TheHolyQuran and began reading the Quran in English and reading the words for myself has brought me back to Islam and on the right path. Just in time for Ramadan. Not much more you can ask for from any application and I appreciate it being free for all to use.

Alhamdulillah! I’ve gone through lot of quran applications like this one. In my opinion, so far this is the best application. But one thing needs mentioning is that this application uses only “English and Arabic” languages. My question is that why are you not using other languages like Bengali, Urdu etc? We like to learn quran in our mother languages. Thank you very much. May Allah render you the best abily you can.

TheHolyQuran is by far the cleanest-looking Quran app I’ve seen in TheHolyQuran Store. It has a minimalistic design that is refreshing to the eyes.

However, the Arabic fonts will let you down. There is a selection of 5, and each is worse than the other. Most of them have little to no spacing between each word, making it difficult to read. Other fonts don’t even render Arabic letters conjoined, they appear separated so again, it becomes difficult to read.

I want to love TheHolyQuran, but the Arabic fonts make it completely unusable. I hope the developers fix this.

I love this translation and tafsir. Don’t listen to some of the Saudi/Wahabi-sponsored comments about the translation, no other translation gives me that feeling of closeness to Allah. Many comments are out of ignorance rather than knowledge. So my advice inform yourselves first and read the translation and use your common senselike Allah instructs us to. Jazakhallah khair for TheHolyQuran. Peace to everyone and I pray for guidance for everyone.

There are many apps to choose from, but TheHolyQuran is all that one needs. If you seek the truth with a sincere reverence for it, you will enjoy TheHolyQuran. I can not think Allah enough for his many provisions, and above all, The Quran. Bismillah - read this, study it and tell someone the good news.

While TheHolyQuran seems well designed and probably well intentioned. I have found certain interpretations biased and deviated from the actual meaning when compared to multiple tafseers. For example the tafseer of ayah related to event of prostration of angels (2:34) when Adam (AS) was created is totally off the rails. I found multiple discrepancies and deviations in other places as well. It’s best to compare and not take TheHolyQuran’s data as primary source. Please revisit the tafseer and tread fearfully as well as carefully. May Allâh grant us all the best possible knowledge we are able to comprehend. Ameen!

I like everything about TheHolyQuran, it’s everything I ever wanted except for one thing. I just wish they had more English narrators. The one that they have is great but he is just too happy for me. He narrates like he is speaking to little kids. Some may Prefer him but I want to listen to someone who is more serious in their tone. But all and all it’s a good app.

Good app. Easy to follow along. Can listen in Arabic and English. You can even just read it silently. Need to keep your screen open so it doesn’t turn off while listening or redo your settings. Overall 5 stars.

TheHolyQuran layout is phenomenal and very user friendly. It has everything you need and no extra nonsense. I really like the auto bookmark feature in the Quran , makes it really easy to pick up where I left off.

this is the only advice I can find an English I having to pay a premium subscription for something that I want to understand in the second language I learned the other which is in Spanish.

If you can read Arabic, like me, it’s a great way to read Quran also it great because even if women are on there monthly cycle, they still can read Quran and you can read the Quran without having to worry if you broke your wudu!!!!

I am impressed by that translator and his knowledge in ArabIc. I’d love to buy a hard copy as well. TheHolyQuran is great and I love the prayer times with Azam’s and the Qibla compass is so so useful.

The developers went above and beyond to make this the best Quran app I have used. A must have for all Muslims!

I love TheHolyQuran , helps me keep track of how much I’m reading . The goal setting helps out a bunch as well. If I close TheHolyQuran , is there a setting to stay on the ayat I am reading?? Like a bookmark

By far my favorite app for The Holy Quran. One thing I wish was different is when I pause to take down notes or make bookmarks, I don’t want the verse to entirely start over, let me continue where I left off. Other than that, it’s perfect! (Especially for new Muslims)

Bountiful resource of information within TheHolyQuran. No complications on iPad. Understanding what you are reading is important. TheHolyQuran breaks down the intricacies of the Quran and has been been fundamental in building a solid understanding. Peace

My daily go-to favorite app that I had been using on iPhone 5 for years. It stopped working when I upgraded to iPhone 8 (iOS 13).
Deleted, re-installed, still does not work.
Launches, displays a blank screen for a few seconds, then closes :(

PLEASE FIX IT !!!

For those of you who don’t know who the ahmadiyya are, they’re a group of muslims who believe their founder is the messiah and mahdi. to push this belief, they try to make tafsir staring that jesus has died a natural death. a lot of the tafsirs i found on TheHolyQuran say that. “mutawiffi” means to come and go. not to die a natural death as they claim. that’s what “tawaff” around the ka’ba is. coming and going around it, so there’s your evidence. don’t fall for this. and some christian on here made tafsirs against the quran and for the bible so it seems anyone can make a tafsir.

The only surah it recites bimillah cpr is surah fatiha, but not the others. Otherwise, I enjoy TheHolyQuran.

There are errors in the English translation, for example there is synonymous words in Arabic has different meaning like (نساء) means women but it also means things that comes leat like cars, phones, or everything that made after the book come.

Asalam Ualakum. This is a beautiful App but is it possible that you can make it in Spanish?🤔 Would Be Better For Spanish Speaking Brothers & Sisters. Jazakhallah.

The previous version of translation was superb. I saw the Urdu translation. This English translations and the explanation is too jumbled and messed up while the previous English translation version seemed very pure to me. I am very disappointed by the updated version.

I tried to play all of it through the night. But it always ends up stoping.

Love TheHolyQuran so much and was loving the new update but please fix the crashing issue!!!

A good app, but it is hard to read fine print. All fonts need to double in size.

That should allow one to decide that they are pushing their own narrative within the Quran. May Allah guide us.

I am reading Qur'an in different languages, and it is really useful to have a completely different translation for comparison. Also, TheHolyQuran's tafseer (who is the author?? Why not signed??) has very interesting analysis, much closer to my understanding of Islam, but in comparison to some previous explanations, fierce and brave, quite revolutionary. I recommend reading this Qur'an translation with whole tafseer, but I also ask developers to please sign author/s, as well as make this book accessible via different media.

Finally I found what I was looking for to celebrate my time with Quran while commuting and waiting to fall asleep at bedtime.
An effort worth appreciating. I see some comments show dislike for certain interpretations that are based on rationalist exegesis by analyzing the word construction / terminologies of Quran, rather then just memorized commentaries people are so accustomed to. Well such folkloric interpretations are not being followed as they used to be. Sorry for rude awakening my friends. Now more and more translations of Quran consider interpretation of Term Jinn as something obscure ( Like Allama (Dr) Mohammad Asad did )
