Bridges a huge gap in capability for LE and public safety
I'm not a rep for this company,but I have been pushing this heavily with all of my LE clients that I train. This is a COTS solution that instantly fills a massive gap in officer safety, personell management, and planning. SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK esssentially gives any agency the instant ability to be aware of all of their officer's real time positions. Commanders can instantly plan operations and share the plan with all subordinates. Individual officer can also instantly and seamlessly relay reliable ground level intel to descision makers.

Broken App
This is a great app for those that can get it to work. I downloaded. Opened. And it force closed. Uninstalled, reinstalled, opened, and SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK force closed again.
Went to the website to find support, FAQ, account registration etc. just to find a minimal site with none of what I was looking for. As an armed professional I am happy to purchase and subscribe to this service. Alas there is no way to do so. If someone from “obscurity llc.” (Fitting name) wants to contact me with a reply to this review, that would be just great.

When you purchase teams with bft does every member of that team have to purchase that package or only one person purchases the package and adds other team members to their team

Good but could be way better
Would love to use this as my primary mapping for team use but to only have gps useable with location ALWAYS ON instead of also WHILE USING. I feel like the ball got dropped.

All options are good but lacks the ability to plan out a route whatsoever. Heavily needs that function.

Broke with the most recent update
I used SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK constantly at work. With the most recent update it is now not functional. It crashes as soon as I open it. Reinstalled with same result. Very disappointed I can no longer use it.

Doesn’t serve much purpose
If you have come here looking for an iPhone equivalent version of the ATAK. Turn around. Can’t plan routes, navigates by taking you out and using Apple Maps. Can’t even plot a point based on coords. Essentially just google earth that can stamp a symbol on a map

The developers website is broken, contact forms don’t work, and their sales email listed on it returns as an invalid address.
I wouldn’t trust SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK with access to my location services if I were you. I’m not trusting it with mine.

Purchase
SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK is great until i go to purchase the teams and bft. When i submit the purchase it tries to load and says no purchase found. So now im out 20 bucks for this useless thing. Garbage

Seamless
App runs flawlessly! Great potential, unfortunately I feel the $20.00 a month fee to use will turn most people who want to use SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK off. I’m willing to pay $10.00 for the BFT, but if you think police officers and regular military guys are going to pay $20.00 a month you’re delusional.

Problems
This was hands down a 5 star app until I installed the update. Now it refuses to open and I’m afraid all my pins and notes have been lost.

Can’t add teams
I bought SITREPTacticalMappingiTAK paid for and all. I cannot add teams. It asks for me to purchase it again. I tap the monthly package and still cannot add teams.

ATAK & WinTAK have it right
Guys, don’t try to reinvent the wheel - ATAK & WinTAK have already done the necessary leg work - coordinate with their dev teams to bring the necessary functionality to the Apple universe. Apple is known for innovation, but NOT in this case.

Military task symbols are not available.
Fix the symbols for the military events. Such as tasks and the tactical symbols as it won’t show.
