The very first MS Buddy to reach out to me scared me senseless. She called me “idiotic” because the night before, I asked if I was speaking to a robot or a human being. A lot of these apps DO USE ROBOTS and I was so glad to find MS Buddy with their real humans... until their real humanity leaked all over the place. Now it’s a mess. I’m very hesitant to return to BezzyMS . If I see this terrible user, I’ll have a deteriorating meltdown. I forgot, I even apologized for the robot question before noon today upon being convinced these really WERE people. But at 5:30, this user called me “idiotic” for, I’m guessing, asking questions so that we know if we are getting real support from real people at a time when we need it...badly. I did t download BezzyMS because I was bored. But I will delete BezzyMS because there is no protection from abusive users. Not my cup of tea. And I STILL have MS! This is the worst week EVER!
This is a wonderful app, but there are a ridiculous amount of scammers signed up on it. It is sad because people especially women with MS like myself can be vulnerable. I have been approached by at least 6 in the 8 months I have had BezzyMS . There needs to be a better vetting process to use BezzyMS. I have met some great people who really have MS but I have also met some not so good people trying to scam the members.
I have always loved BezzyMS for the initial support that I received here.
Just this week, I was approached by 4 different men who I was not matched with. I foolishly answered them back. After brief conversation, I saw some similarities. All but 1 was from Houston. 3 of them worked on off-shore oil rigs. One supposedly was a General working for the UN in Syria. He admitted to me that he didn't even have MS, he got BezzyMS from a friend and wanted to meet women to speak to. After some talks with all of them, they became too personal despite my protests. I blocked them all. I am very upset by this. I have also spoken to other women with similar occurrences.
I love this program, knowing others have what you have and it m not alone, what I don’t like is the language, the finger sign , the f word and I could go on, I know that without God it’s a struggle, and he doesn’t appreciate the language . Most of them or ladies , that’s what’s so bad, I will join a group where I have to open my account and the first thing I see is the finger sign.
I love The sense of community I feel while using BezzyMS. However, it has been crashing every time I open it for the past few days and I can’t stay long enough in BezzyMS to even read a full sentence because it just crashes. It wasn’t like this before Please fix this!!!!
I was excited at the opportunity to talk to others with ms. I haven't found any support groups in my area. Anyway, people don't talk regularly and many never even respond when I reach out. Kind of a bummer.
I have ms and I was told I had it back in 1982. I have had my ups and downs. I drove school bus for 20 yrs. I retired about13 yrs ago. I just went back to work 8 months ago. I am a cashier. I work between 30 to 35 hrs a week. My boss is great about working with me. I am now 75 years old. I look forward to going to work everyday. I am tire but I don’t let it get me down. When I was told I had it I was scared. Not knowing anything about the disease I was scared. I had 3 small children an 3 grandchildren that I was raising. I did this from my wheelchair. Just don’t give into ms.
I like the MS Buddy. It’s nice to text other people with MS and see how to accomplish daily tasks. They also have great materials to read that are up to date on all the things involving MS.
I often avoid MS programs as I don’t want to see all of the others in wheelchairs, since I fear that!
I’ve made a lot of friends with MS in here. All from a distance. I’m learning a lot and sharing, too.
Very informative and helpful to hear what others experience. It can be isolating at times living with MS so it helps to share stories and information with people who really understand. Glad I joined.
Hello I really love BezzyMS and connecting with people who have ms it is a great alternative to social media because I can actually connect with people on a deeper level. I do wish it had the option to find people I do know who have ms and to add more photos please
I definitely recommend BezzyMS to anyone who feels alone, within minutes I had someone resonate with me and make me feel like I wasn’t crazy and I was understood while going through the diagnosis process.
BezzyMS is good and well worth downloading because there are so many of us that are in the same boat and need someone to lean on and talk to. It’s a great app but now it’s glitchy to where it takes me to sign in and then when I try I have to tap on BezzyMS again after it closes and then it takes me right to where my buddies are and messages with no problems. It was acting fine before the update and now it’s just too glitchy but I’ll keep using it hope the issues will get taken care of and soon. So for that reason I say it’s about a three overall a five
I’m having a hard time getting onto my page. I’ve tried to reset my password multiple times but did not get any emails to reset it. I like BezzyMS just can’t get back on.
I am so much graditude that everyone with ms has a place to come to and feel safe and get friendship and advice and most importantly have a peace of mind. I defiantly have a lot to share with my community that will change everyone’s minds and it will be amazing so get ready it is coming soon community with much love and respect
I have really enjoyed BezzyMS. I have made some awesome friends who really understand when I say “I’m fine”. I have enjoyed sharing my experiences and things I’ve tired and liked and even the things that didn’t seem to do it for me. One thing I want everyone to be aware of is that some have seemed to be some who use this as a dating site. Be careful and enjoy. Reach to me if you have questions fears confusion. Nothing is unimportant so let’s talk. Joann55
I downloaded and have been using BezzyMS for several weeks with no problems. I’ve had this illness for yrs, and could finally talk to others with it which is awesome and helpful. Last week however I started seeing an error message when I open it, and it tells me i’m not authorized to be on the site. Any ideas as to how I can back on the site again?
I was just in BezzyMS . Never had problems but this time I got kicked out 2x and didn’t think to copy comment. It was a long one. The 3rd time I wrote a quick comment (saving it as I went along). Also you can’t or idk how to post pics which would be a nice extra feature. The main thing was getting kicked off 2x. Can this please be fixed? I need to express myself without having to start over or copy every so often in case I get kicked of again.
I’m Kathy Reagan Young, the MS Buddy App “Guide”. I facilitate the hour long LIVE chats 5-nights a week, answer questions, help identify resources, and in general help people dealing with MS. I’m uniquely qualified in this capacity because I, too, have MS and have most likely been “where you are.” We also have Ambassadors to welcome new members and add their support. It’s a beautiful, supportive community that provides a place where everyone “understands” because we’ve all been diagnosed with MS. Support, inspiration, information, and motivation - its all in there. I hope you’ll join us.
What a great place for questions, even the ones you never heard of... that you can ask your doctor about!!!
