I switched to a credit union for the personal service, convenient location to my house and better loan terms. However, it’s almost 2019 and they have no idea how to design, implement and support an app. It rarely works, there is no iPad native app and they don’t even bother to update the locations. The one I joined by my house isn’t even shown on their locations map. If you only back in person, then this doesn’t matter, but, if you bank like most people (remotely) then you may want to consider a different bank. I also have accounts with BOK and their app works perfectly.
I have been with communication for many, many years and am seriously considering switching banks. I love the mobile applications that prevent me from having to drive to a branch since I don’t have one nearby, but the features like mobile check deposit literally never work for me. I have used it on multiple occasions and have had to try at least 4 to 5 times to have my checks go through. I have contacted the credit union each time and they say it is the app’s “sensitivity”. It’s not convenient if it’s unusable.
After the last update - it keeps force closing! Soooo frustrating. I have the latest update on everything. Tried to go to the website and it lists an old phone number so I can’t get in that way. Every time I call I’m on hold. I can’t wait to pay off this car so I don’t have to deal with this bank ever again :(
