One star for now

MyDigicel allows us to top up, but this only shows the data available on a quick pick plan. How are we to know the voice balance? Great idea on plans but this is not transparent. Also 5gb data was stolen from my account which my phone was connected to WiFi 90% of the time in less than 24 hours and no response from the customer care. 😡😡😡 don’t make me and my household have to switch back to flow.

Non-Tech Company Trying To Be Tech Company

Dear Digicel, Please use lean development and agile development to develop your apps. It’s sad to see that Digicel tries to blend tech and telecom, but their leadership knows nothing about tech. If you want to build tech solutions start from the ground up and then merge telecom and tech. Otherwise, hire professionals to build your tech because your app is the worst I have seen from a telecom company. Please TRY to prevent it from crashing when someone is trying to pay their bill.

I could never get MyDigicel to work on my old phone. Whenever I tried to open it, I received a message “This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.” So with my new Iphone 11, I reloaded MyDigicel . And I still get the same message, followed by a blank white screen. Completely useless 🥺

Its a pandemic

We are in a “pandemic” 18 months now and unfortunately I have to take an additional risk of leaving the safety of my home to go and stand in a line to pay the bill because your payment system will not allow for payment from APPLE devices and the link for web payment directs you to MyDigicel which does not work, top that off with 2 service increases within this year 2021. I honestly have to ask do you really care about your customers when this issue has been brought to the attention of your digicel representative processing the payment in Trinidad they acknowledge that there is an issue. (18 months)

You need your phone number to activate MyDigicel, but having MyDigicel installed prevents you from finding your phone number. (Calling to find your phone number just reroutes you to MyDigicel .)

Also, MyDigicel is pretty big so downloading it will use up your data. Recommend getting on Wifi before you download.

Crash Issues

I downloaded, MyDigicel a few months ago to do online payment, it was all good and working until it started crashing as I opened it. I couldn’t make a payment, so I went to digicel where a representative told me to uninstall and install it back. It worked fine after reinstalling, a few weeks ago, I tried to make a payment but I keep having the crash issues. Uninstall and reinstall MyDigicel but having the same problem.
Digicel you need to do better and up your game!!!

Worthless with the new update- why can’t I see how much data I have left or minutes? Why aren't the categories properly sorted instead of having to scroll down through every freaking option?? That’s one of the main reasons we use MyDigicel . For CONVENIENCE. Also crashes every five seconds, saying ‘try again later’. Digicel needs to read these complaints (all 500 of them), and do something about it. #Digicel should be ashamed of themselves

Keeps crashing

Worst app ever. 2nd month in a row trying to pay my bill and MyDigicel won’t stay open for more than 2 seconds. I deleted and redownloaded several times and it still crashes. Tried paying my bills on because I have 2 play accounts - unable to add my second account. This is ridiculous. And if I’m a few days late with payment they will cut my service. This making any sense? Do better DIGICEL!!

The Bad Outweigh the Good

So I was against downloading MyDigicel but eventually I changed my mind and did. At first I didn’t regret it, MyDigicel was a great idea, could have been more used friendly but they made a few improvements & it got better. Now I’m not sure what’s happening but it’s starting to say “this feature is temporarily unavailable. We are actively working on fixing it.” Well it seems they are not working actively enough because it has been saying that a little too often & for way too long now. I am highly disappointed.
I say download at your own risk because when it works it’s good, it’s like they draw you in with something shiny & it works but when you get used to it, it just stops working.
All that glitters is not gold.

MyDigicel when it works is pretty good, it allows you to top up and manage your plans but too often I have to delete MyDigicel and reinstall it. It freezes up too often and doesn’t allow you to do anything, the technicians for digi need to pay extra attention in fixing bugs and upgrading MyDigicel so we can get better use out of MyDigicel

Get used to the sound of those words. When it works, MyDigicel is pretty good. You can choose from a long list of plans and manage your account easily.

The catch is that the vast majority of the time MyDigicel simply doesn't work. About 90% of the time you just get an error message saying "This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." But it's not temporarily unavailable, it's persistently unavailable! It doesn’t seem to make a difference when they roll out updates, it’s a consistently poorly built app. I only give it a second star because the idea is good. But a good idea doesn’t count for much unless you can actually make it work.

Congratulations Digicel, your app is the worst and most reliably unreliable app on my phone.

Not good

The old version was way better than this new update. This version does not tell you how much data you have remaining, as the older version did. The only thing you can do on this new update is basically check your balance and see which plan you currently have. Not good at all. When ever you try to do something, you will get the notification that “something went wrong try again later” I love the new look though.

Ongoing issue

Since Sept 2021 app no longer shows my bill. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Spoke to several persons about it. No resolve. At one point my bill was incorrect (not sure why) in all fairness it got resolved but the process was tedious and stressful and this is because I cannot track my bill. Online says one thing and the billing email sent out says another. I relied on MyDigicel to keep me on track. In addition, I’d have to now go through my banking info to see what was paid when because MyDigicel no longer captures that. I’m beyond annoyed

Previous App was better

The previous app worked much better than this new upgrade.I could once see my bill history and payment and now I’m just getting a pop up that authorization is invalid or expired and apparently no one can assist with that because I have called and report the issue many times and all I’ve been told is to restart my device 🙄, Next thing is the chat support in MyDigicel , if your phone automatically lock the screen the chat will automatically close and you have to start all over again and again .. so annoying. The only thing MyDigicel is good for is to top up your phone and activate a data plan. Apart from that don’t waste time downloading it.

New features needed

App works perfect for me and it is very user friendly. However, I would like to see you bring an option to check bonus credit and for you to add a feature where a user would be able to send data the same way it have the feature to send credit from your account. Another welcome feature would be for a user to be able to send a data or talk plan to love ones the same way you can send a top up etc. bring these feature and MyDigicel would be a breeze. And for the folks who are complaining about getting the ‘No Available Balance’ when you launch MyDigicel just sign out then sign back in and that should solve that issue

Why did you remove send data feature

The ability to send shake it data helped me out because sometimes I’m on the go and I cannot afford credit someone could send me data why did you remove that feature to gift shake it data it was so important

App crashes

MyDigicel does crash quite often. I find that when that happens I uninstall it and then reinstall and it works again. Otherwise everything else seems to work when MyDigicel is working.

My really love this app App because it make my life easy, like i can do everything about my account Digicel.
I have a suggestion, then why this app still haven’t Dark mode. I like using Dark mom. I got only this problem with MyDigicel .

It’s the best experience I’ve had with an app and I’ve had apps for all the different carriers. Very engaging! There is always a promo or something for you to look forward to. Keep improving and doing what you’re doing.

This is an fully functional and efficient app. Being able to buy a plan and track my exact data usage is so useful. When I was roaming, it was so great to have MyDigicel to not only buy the plan from abroad, but to keep visual tabs on my minutes and data. Top notch, Digicel. Top notch.

Worst update ever! Bring up the old one please

It’s not worthy downloading the new app because it’s useless, and there are so many unavailable features like Data balance / Gift options / Plan renewal / Etc..

MyDigicel must be easy to use, and not be too nice with no efficiency.

If only I could go back to the old version, I would’ve already deleted the crappy updated one.

Stay away

App doesn’t work, constantly has issues. Digicel has been a complete nightmare...Ive been double charged when trying to do a top up, half the options in MyDigicel are unavailable or offline, I’ve tried contacting customer support who aren’t able to help. I’ve tried calling the physical shops to speak with a rep but they have just been rude and don’t seem to care.

Unable to login

MyDigicel give an error message (temporarily unavailable working to fix) when you try and log in to use MyDigicel . This renders MyDigicel useless. I wanted to contact customer support before writing this review but when you go to customer support from here it’s not clear on how to contact customer support. MyDigicel is often problematic but now I can not use it at all. I’m trying to use MyDigicel in Haiti. No support in Haiti for MyDigicel.

What’s the point of MyDigicel if I can’t pay my phone bill?

The least you could have done was leave the old functional app on MyDigicel Store while you continued to build this one.

I’m sure one day MyDigicel will provide the ability to pay your bills from your phone, until then enjoy this new inconvenience with a smile :D

Old was Better

The old update even tho it had many issues was better than this pretty looking good for nothing app, how is it that I cannot see them time when my plan will expire like the last version so I can keep track, why are the plans all over the place and not sorted by category, why can’t I see my digiloan balance anymore, FIX IT!! I was never going to update but my phone somewhat did.

Downloaded MyDigicel when it first came out. Back when they used to give free 2GB on sundays if you had MyDigicel . It worked fine then. Still works fine now except it crashes if I move around within MyDigicel too fast. Guess they still have free stuff with the shake it to win part. Don’t see what’s the use when I can see my balance and data usage all from txting *120# and *130# from my phone itself. The only thing I dislike about MyDigicel is how much space it takes up. Apart from that it’s alright.

After a closer examination I found that the new update for MyDigicel isn’t that bad after all there’s still some small edits that can make it easier to interpret but overall not bad and much better than before.
