I used this to book a rental, and then cancel my reservation. When canceling, I had the option to pay a $5 fee on my refund or get the full amount credited to my account for my next reservation. I chose to get the credit, because I knew I’d use CarlaCarRental again. However, On my next reservation I did not get the credit applied, and when I emailed, the support told me they cannot apply the credit and that I need to email them before my next reservation to get it applied. I asked for a way to confirm that it’s on my account, or my money back so I don’t have to wait for them to respond to my email, but they told me they were sorry that they cannot help me with a refund and to email when I am getting my next rental, which is unacceptable when you have someone’s money. The time came for me to rent a car again, and I reached out to get my credit applied, however got no response. I tried again, no response. I tried calling, a few times and left messages with my call back number...no response. It’s been over 3 weeks of me waiting for them to confirm my credit before making a reservation, and the rental I was planning for next month has gone up $400. So today, I just bite the bullet and made the reservation, hoping I get my credit. Nope! Just spent an extra few hundred $$ and still didn’t get my credit due to this customer service.
