This is a wonderful app to start if you want to narrow down your college choices. It also has wonderful filtering options. I also love the way it allows you to browse through the colleges. Overall a definite four star app.

I do have one question to the developer regarding the college facts that shows in the very first screen when you chose colleges. Are those facts regularly updated along with CollegeHunch updates? For example I was recently looking into SDSU (San Diego state university) office of admissions page and I noticed that as per fall 2019, the stats says Average GPA 3.97, Average SAT scores 1283 and Average ACT score 27.5 compared to what’s shown in CollegeHunch . I understand that these stats changes every term and will vary slightly based on source of data, but I was more eager to know if these stats are frequently updated. This is more of a curious to know question and definitely not a negative feedback.

This is such a useful app to be able to just scroll through and I really like the comparison chart and filter capability! However, it would be really, really helpful if one of the filter options was the degrees that colleges offer; so you could view colleges that only offer bachelor’s degrees or colleges that only offer doctorate degrees, etc. Other than that request, CollegeHunch has been incredibly beneficial! :)

This is a great app for getting a bunch of information about every school, and that’s why I give it four stars. However the college I was really interested in learning about wasn’t even on there. My only suggestion would be expand to the even smaller schools. I was interested in learning more about Ripon college in Wisconsin and they did not have it on CollegeHunch . Other than that, great app.

I found CollegeHunch doing an App Store search and downloaded it based on reviews. After the download and reviewing the screen tips, I started searching based on my daughter’s criteria. I saved 15 schools and paid the very reasonable $2.99 to have the information downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet. Before I found CollegeHunch, I was mentally preparing to make my own spreadsheet based on cobbling information from various sources. The ease and relevance of getting the info is great. CollegeHunch is easy to use with the filters and criteria.

On a separate note, I emailed the College Hunch support email at 3:30PM CT on a Monday and received a very detailed answer to my question within 2 hours.

As a parent new to the college search helping my daughter this is a great app.

I have used CollegeHunch for over a year and it is the BEST way to look at this information! Don’t search all over these schools’ websites - let this app put the data into ONE format so you can quickly reference. Their information is as up to date as possible. Love CollegeHunch - I don’t know where we would be without it! I have recommended CollegeHunch to many.

My daughter is a Senior and is looking to go to college. As a parent, CollegeHunch is extremely helpful as it provides all the information you need in one place. I love that I can view all the colleges SAT and GPA requirements as well without having to go to each schools website and search for them. I noticed that one of the schools my daughter is looking at wasn’t available on CollegeHunch . I contacted the support team and someone got back to very quickly and advised that they would look into it, collect all the data for the school and have it added. The following day, they contacted me to let me know it’s now on CollegeHunch . Thank you for being a support team that actually responds back and with action!

My younger brother was bombarding me with questions about colleges (as if I had the answers). All of a sudden, he stopped. I found out that he started using this app and, for the past week, he hasn’t even talked to me. So, I checked it out and now I understand why he doesn’t need his big brother anymore. He’s in much better hands than I could provide.

CollegeHunch is extremely helpful for any junior or senior in high school looking for their perfect school. I am a junior myself and I don't believe there is another app out there as helpful as this one. The only thing that kind of annoys me is that the SAT scores are still based on the old SAT (2400 scale). There should at least be an option to view both the old 2400 and the new 1600 scales in the demographics. Other than that it's very great.

I love CollegeHunch and it makes it easy for me to compare college choices and figure out where I want to go, but I don’t want to scroll through my apps just searching for the major I want in the majors section. I’d like to go the the filter and find a search bar where I can find and filter the colleges so only ones where my major is one of the top 10 most popular majors shows up.

At first I was skeptical and thought it would be a crappy run down sight that had like 20 colleges and reviews from past students. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there’s a plethora of colleges to look up and there are so many different logistics and demographics presented. As a high school junior this really made looking for colleges a thousand times easier. 10/10 would recommend to any parent or high school student

CollegeHunch has tons of facts and loads of features that make it easy to decide not just what your admissions chances are but also how you'll fit in. What I like most is that it enables you to decide for yourself which schools make sense rather than inputting a GPA or test score to get an admission probability since that is hardly enough information to provide a meaningful result. this app is an invaluable asset.

The best way to appreciate CollegeHunch is to try the other college apps and websites. If you want a calendar with real deadlines, a complete list of requirements and the latest tuition, with fast facts that give even more information, there is nothing that even comes close. And, if you consider all the features, it's even less of a contest. Try the rest and you'll probably agree that there is no better way to research colleges.

This is not sponsored or paid in any way. I’ve had CollegeHunch for 30 minutes and if I could give CollegeHunch 200 stars I would. It’s like a really good dating app for college. It gives you everything you need to know about a college in one page. It is super helpful for finding colleges and narrowing your search down because you can sort it, organize it, and filter it as much as you want from distance away to religious affiliations. CollegeHunch is everything.

During the past several months CollegeHunch is one of the most used apps on my phone. It is a quick reference when you need basic info, application deadline, certain statistics etc. regarding a college(s). So far from what I can tell, the information about the institutions we have looked into are pretty accurate on CollegeHunch. I recommend CollegeHunch to other parents/high school students who want to review basic college information all in one place

CollegeHunch is great! It is so easy to look up a college and get information. I use it to find out how big the school is, the price, average GPA and SAT scores of those admitted. I find the percentages (how many graduated in 4 years and their rentention rate after the first year to help me rate the colleges. You can add a college to your favorite list as well and then reference it anytime. If you can’t find a college on CollegeHunch, you can ask to have it added and they respond very quickly.

I love the way that CollegeHunch lets you browse through colleges by swiping and sorting them in the order you want. And, it’s amazing how many different ways you can filter them so that only those appear that meet your criteria. It even lets you filter by early decision, early action or colleges that accept the Common App. Really cool and time-saving. It certainly beats looking at lists or searching for colleges (one by one), especially when you don’t necessarily know which ones to look for (even tho CollegeHunch lets you do this).

Fantastic informative and well organized! So helpful and easy to use. I also like that it has all of the links you need and even pay scale is linked to CollegeHunch! I used with my 2 older sons and now using for my daughter. The schools’ calendar is terrific because you are able to click on important deadlines needed and it will show up in your google calendar ! Will use CollegeHunch for my younger sons in the future too! Look no further, purchase ASAP!

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it’s extremely helpful and easy to use. The information is accurate, and is updated when applicable. I especially like the fact you can save your favorites for easy reference. And having important information like in-state vs out-of-state fees, test scores and size of the university in one easy to use location is excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend CollegeHunch to any parent or student beginning their journey to find the perfect fit with regard to college.

If you want to narrow down your college choices, then this app is the best place to start since it gives you such a vast array of statistics that you almost feel like you know what makes the freshmen class and college tick. There may be other sources that cover thousands of colleges but they provide a fraction of the data and certainly don’t have information that must be sourced by hand, such as the latest cost of attendance or priority scholarship deadlines. I actually like the fact that the developer focused on four-year colleges and created great tools rather than just adding as many colleges as possible.

Amazing app with filters enabling you to sort by variables such as size of incoming class, SAT score, distance from your home- anything you can think of. It was recommended to me and it has been a huge help. Also has links to the schools to set up tours and visits. Great fast support if you have any questions or don’t have your filters set up correctly, they will return email you almost immediately. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I love everything with CollegeHunch. As a transfer student it allowed me to see the colleges that I want to transfer & what are the qualifications I need to get to these colleges. So I totally recommend to anyone that is wanting to transfer but don’t know what school they want to go. Or as a student who is eager to know more knowledge about the campus this is good app that I would totally recommend.

As I’m in 11th grade the college search has begun. CollegeHunch just made everything a whole lot easier. Now I don’t have to go to each individual website to find out more. CollegeHunch has all the information that you would want to know about a college. Love CollegeHunch and will definitely be using it for my college search.
