I purchased this full version App couple in 201 and Used it untill yesterday. After my phone update. It disappeared from my phone. Downloaded again. It will not allow complete download. Only 30th juzz opens and rest is locked . Asking to buy the rest again or it downloads a different version app. Do not like New version app. Hard time reading because of the appearance.
I would rather have previous version. I lost all my memorized bookmarks throughout MemorizeQuran that was I was in process of memorizing. Very disappointed by the developer and app owners.

I was a paid user for the previous version (originally targeted for kids to use) and gave me access to all features like multiuser and all surah access.

Since the auto upgrade to this version:
1. I lost the full access to the older app

2. The UI of the new app is very bad
I. The fonts are too small (even when u choose large)
ii. The Ayat will scroll up and goes off the screen when you use the playlist feature
iii. The tick bookmark box seem to overlap with the playlist ayat number. So u hv to keep clicking until u get it right

3. I don’t know what u did to the audio files, but it sounds like a recording of a recording. The older audio files were better quality

4. The reading pace button is too fast even when u choose the slowest pace. The older app is much better.

Am very disappointed with the current version. You shud revert to the older one. It sure feels as if the new design was not tested with users who are new learners of the Quran. Sad.

So I just went on MemorizeQuran since I saw it was upgraded. Upgrades mean MemorizeQuran gets better. I think they made it worse. Before I mention what I don’t like I have to say the new app cover looks good. Ok so what I don’t like is that on the old version u could have multiple profiles for different people. On this version u have to pay for more then one. And for the reciters on the old version u just has to download the other reciters for the Surah. On this u have to pay for more reciters. I think this being a Quran app all the stuff should be free.

Sallam So I’ve had the early app long before the update up until now with the update and have been pleased with the experience and the support it’s given me. My only problem and a big problem is there are written errors in this memorization app that must be corrected asap. For example an error in ghafir verse 30 states Mathla when it suppose to be methla. The Shaikh says it right but the written error doesn’t so there for I want the developers to know so they can change it for Allah would be pleased. Jazakallahkhair

I was able to get MemorizeQuran to work again by deleting it. Re-installing it. And then doing a restart of my phone. After that, I was able to restore my prior purchase. I understand the developers wish to turn this to a subscription model to increase revenue for development costs, but in the future this should wait until either before or after Ramadan as these bugs cause disruptions during a time when many of us are relying on MemorizeQuran for hours at a time.

There aren’t many apps that facilitate memorizing the Quran. This is one of the very few. I really commend the hard work behind it. Purchased the premium version and it’s worth it for serious memorizers especially those who memorize through audio.....I really like MemorizeQuran but it needs more features to make it easy like to be able to search for the ayats. One has to scroll all the way down in order to find the ayats that you’re memorizing at the time.. need similar search features for surahs and juz’ as well

Also to be able to change font size Amdahl save the last memorized range of ayahs

There is this really sad ad that always pops up like every five minutes about starving children, While I do feel bad for children in the Middle East who are suffering from war, a crying baby (I doesn’t save the mute so I have to hear it for a second each time before I mute it) other than the fact that I get this repeating sad ad, MemorizeQuran is almost perfect. Actually, one more thing, on some of the ayahs I’ve been practicing, the vowel is on top when it should be on bottom.

Assalamu Alaikum waRahmatullah! Alhamdulillah I had MemorizeQuran for several months and did not install after my phone was water damaged. Now getting back to the memorization part using this. Wish there was a way to add more reciters. Please keep up the good work and Allah bless you and your families and all of us who are benefiting from your work! JazakAllah khairan!

MemorizeQuran is very helpful, it helps me keep up with my surahs and MemorizeQuran also makes it easier to memorize. And it teaches me dua’s that I need like if I want to travel or something like that. I recommend MemorizeQuran if you are a Muslim and don’t know many things or if you are already Muslim and want to learn more things like the surahs, dua’s & much more.

MemorizeQuran totally deserves a 5 star rating. You can find Surahs easily and you can choose any reciter. But there is one little problem. You have to get premium to do a lot of the things like track your progress and choose a different reciter. But other than that MemorizeQuran is amazing and I 100% recommend it!

I like MemorizeQuran but it’s not ideal for every verse must that a person has to download before it’s played. Unlike the previous version, a person could play all the verses anytime without downloading any verse. Regardless I think you guys need to make more improvements on the “RECITERS” on purchase, a person could select any “RECITER” without any downloads. Thank you!

I paid for the whole thing many months ago . The new update has only alfasy and when I tried to download other reciters who were available before , it says I must pay !!!!!
How can you take the money and then do some update and ask to pay again !!!!!

I love MemorizeQuran and I have bought a full version. Now that you made changes, you are adding in ads and to remove ads you’re asking for money it is not fair. What do I need to do go back to the old version that I paid fully for and that was without ads?

And you can tell the developers put a ton of time, passion, and love into the recent upgrade. They are receptive to feedback and quick to reply if contacted.

Would like to see some fixes as mentioned by the other recent reviewers. But otherwise, I’m very happy with MemorizeQuran . Just wish we could have kept all the work we had documented as memorized.

This's app is amazing, MashaAllah! My whole family is able to memorize anywhere - anytime - no wifi necessary 😊 I love that we can chose any group of verses to loop and at any recitation pace. It helps me a lot (a revert & not yet Arab speaker). I have input, if possible, could there be an option to add English or another language? Also, it would be great if we could repeat only a portion of an ayah. InshaAllah you're getting so much reward! May you have barakah in this life & the next!

MemorizeQuran used to be very helpful and honestly I was able to memorize an entire Juz with it! But the new changes they e made to MemorizeQuran are so annoying. Half the audio is now chopped off on certain ayahs, among other issues! It used to be so simple and user friendly and now they've updated with all these bells and whistles and I can't use it at all anymore! Very upset !

This WAS an AMAZING app, but then the updated app which is this one isn’t really that great because me and my family only use 1 account because we don’t want to pay for premium and it’s kind of annoying but on the other app before it was update was Amazing! You didn’t have a limit even tho you only could do the first juz and the sheik’s voice was clear but on the updated app the sheik’s voice has soo much noise and you can only listen to one sheik

I would like to sincerely make du’a for the creators of MemorizeQuran because this has been such a beautiful blessing. I’m a convert and only knew a few short surahs before downloading MemorizeQuran. Alhamdulilah, I have now memorized Surat ‘Amma and plan to memorize the entire 30th juz, insha’Allah. MemorizeQuran makes it easy, as you can create your own “playlists” of ayaat and play them on repeat with adjustable speeds. MemorizeQuran also has translations and transliterations of each ayah in the pro version. I highly recommend MemorizeQuran.

MemorizeQuran is amazing.
I don’t write reviews for ANY apps but this one I must.
Me and my family are tying to learn the Quran and so we downloaded memorize (the old version). It was already helping us but then we got the news that the other app isn’t working and we need to download this one. And so we did. It basically the same if not BETTER and plus, We got free premium because we are “loyal” and used the old version.

MemorizeQuran help me so much, I wish I could give a 10 star rating then just 5.

If you had purchased the original version then you can go in the settings to restore purchase by clicking on premium license. I liked the previous version better but since the developers promptly responded to my frustration of “why the ads?” I’m giving a positive review. All I had to do was to “restore purchase” which was really tiny and hard to see.

I love MemorizeQuran and the interface was nice until it was updated in Ramadan. Bookmarking an Ayah or a Surah is no longer possible. Also, the Surahs are listed inside Juz. So, if you want find a Surah and don’t know which Juz it is in, you have to click all the Juz to find it. I’m not sure why the developer did this. Very few people care about the Juz number. My appeal to the developer to bring back these two features. JAK.

I finally ended up getting the paid version because the free version wasn’t enough. My only issue is that it does not let you select portions of surahs that you have memorized without checking off all of the ayats before. For example I memorized Hashr 20-24 but when I try to check them off it automatically checks off the earlier ayats which I haven’t memorized.

I was looking for such an app. This was an answer to my search. It has all the features I wanted. It would be perfect if translation could be added as an option because when I memorize I want to know the meanings. I have downloaded another Quran app with translation to compensate but it would be great if makers of MemorizeQuran would add translation . May Allah reward all of the people involved in its creation .

Amazing app. I’m using it to aid my hifz. It’s well worth it’s price. And the only app that can properly repeat a predefined range of verses.

Just wish Sudais was added as a reciter.

Also, I was a bit hesitant to buy MemorizeQuran since it hasn’t been updated in over a year. I was afraid I’d be buying something buggy and broken. It works perfectly!

Alhamdulillah, may Allah give lots of hasanad and barakah to the developer of MemorizeQuran. MemorizeQuran help me a lot for my Quran memorization journey. You can have build a playlist for certain ayats for you to hear using headphones and you can repeat that many times as you like (loop playlist). It's a better replacement for you to avoid musics and only listen to the word of Allah..

MemorizeQuran it’s self has a nice look and is better than the old one it very easy to learn off of and memorize the Quran. It has the meanings in English if you click the 3 dots that helps a lot to understand it in two different languages . It also has a loop which helps read it over and over again you can also chose what speed it the person can go great app all tho you do have to pay ❤️

Recently started using MemorizeQuran for my kids and for myself. I always had hard time memorizing Quran Surats, but MemorizeQuran really has made it very easy specially with correct pronunciation and accent.
Highly recommended!!!
One suggestion is to please also add female profile picture option for sisters.
