Amazing camera! I know I already wrote an review but here’s another. Okay first of all. All of you people out there writing bad reviews because your camera doesn't work, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! I mean come on?! you are voting this badly even though you don't know how to work it. Second thing, If you want a cheap GoPro that works great, buy this camera!! Such amazing quality for a sports camera! Is waterproof (with the case on) and portable. And finally, I would like to see you add a feature where if you connect the camera to the wifi, it will automatically use that camera for different apps. (That probably makes no sense but thats how i'm describing it lol.) Anyway, thank you for your time!!!

I’ve worked in IT for about 20 years(not a boomer. GenX). This took me longer than necessary to get working on my iPhone. Like the other reviewer, downloading XDV was easy. Connecting to the WiFi was easy. However, XDV could not connect to the camera.
Fix for iPhone only: within iPhone settings, scroll down to find the this app App. In its settings, turn on Local Network. Done.
Other phones may have something similar. So, if you run into XDV not finding your camera, look for that other setting. Good luck.
Once it is working, I recommend downloading any video to your phone, before trying to play it. The streaming takes longer to get the video ready to play, than it does to download, then play from the iPhone. Very short test video.

Aside from XDV , you can connect to a PC(probably Mac too), via USB. Then, Power the camera on. Select USB Mode. This method, you can simply use it as a flash drive to get to your pics and videos.

1-2 stars for setup difficulty(lack of instructions really).
4 stars for ease of use and quality of video. Not too bad.
5 stars for the design. Accessories. And operating system on the device.

I’m one of those guys that wants to play with my new toy before I even read the directions. I’ve seen bad reviews about XDV and camera WiFi not working. I too had this problem but then I learned how to actually do it. You have to turn your camera’s WiFi on, then connect your phone to the camera’s WiFi, then you are connected and can use XDV to remotely operate your camera functions and/or review your pictures/videos. Camera works super and tons of accessories.

The overall camera comes with a lot of features and accessories considering how cheap it is, but if it doesn’t work what good is it? I have a new iPhone and when I download XDV it gives you 1 option to connect to WiFi and when you click it says it can’t connect. Also the display screen on the camera itself really hurts my eyes almost makes you go cross eyed, not sure if my screen is broken or what. I’m wondering if all the reviews I read online were fake because of the reviews here. I’m pretty sure I just flushed $40 for this thing plus $25 for a 64 sd card. I’m gonna try connecting again through iPad but either way this isn’t at all user friendly.

So I have had theCamPark camera for a while but never used it. Decided today was the day. Tried to use the QR icon in the book to download XDV for WiFi. Icon failed, ball one.
In order for the camera to work with your phone, you have to join the camera WiFi. This removes what ever WiFi connection you might use else where. Strike one.
Installed a memory card into the camera. Tells me it needs to format before I can take photos or video. Strike two.
Decide to go buy another memory card, so I try to use XDV . Get the error that it
Needs local authorization. I installed XDV , what more does it need. Oh wait, I denied the location service!!! If it won’t run with that turned off... Strike Three, You’re Out!!

WiFi works just fine and if you download the video to you’re device , it plays flawlessly! I have an iPhone 6 and it looks perfect ,crystal clear up to 2.7K / 1080p however 4K only plays sound and shows the first frame of the video, It may be the limited ability of my device. But the camera cost was a mere $40 bucks and I couldn’t be happier XDV lets you access entire function of the camera record from phone/tablet delete, save ,share so I give it 4 stars only because it’s not flawless but is darn good

I had no trouble setting the camera up and connecting it to my phone. It may be because it’s 2020 and I have a iPhone 8, not a new one (iPhone 12 is new at this time). To me, the directions were straight-forward and simple. I have used a Go-Pro previously and believe this camera to be comparable. I find this camera to be of great value for the money and would highly recommend it to others.

XDV works amazing and is super easy to learn. You can control every setting and function of the camera from your phone, remotely. It works amazing, I just wish I could delete videos off the SD from XDV . Before you guys write a bad review, give your phone to a half way competent person between the ages of 10 and 25 and they can set it up in seconds.

XDV works well most of the time every now and then it will crash, it is simple and the options while using it are really good I’ve realized XDV works better with a good WiFi connection and a fast running phone also for the live feed from the camera a good high performance 32 GB sd card helps a lot with the FPS and how smooth the video is when recording 4K 30fps

I was really excited to test out XDV portion of my Campark camera. I thought it was really cool that I would be able to send files directly from XDV that mirrors my camera to my phone.. Unfortunately, XDV doesn’t work in the slightest. XDV connected to my camera for about 5 seconds before disconnecting. When I try to reconnect the message “connect over time! Please make sure connecting DVs network” flashes across the screen. No idea how to interpret that or how to fix it but after reading other similar reviews it doesn’t seem like something I can fix but rather a big flaw with XDV .

Press to other WiFi accessible camera apps I have. XDV renders my action camera almost useless because I am not able to download the videos unless I hook up a usb to my computer which is not always easily accessible. XDV once you can hook it up to WiFi which sometimes will connect it will not even allow me to download the videos. I wish there was some better support with XDV. If anyone has had Better luck and knows a few tricks to get XDV to actually allow me to view my videos I just recorded please let me know. Until then XDV will be one star.

The camera I got is great, I love the 4K. The camera software it is is the VDX app. XDV let you download the pictures to your phone but as for the videos I can only play on XDV . It will not let you download the videos at ALL. I can download the videos if I connect the camera to my computer but that's it. The owners of XDV new to fix the video down to work with my camera!!!!! Please fix. I have a vision 3 pro action.

Worked for me immediately. You do need to remember to connect your phone to the camera WiFi but that is the same for many other action cameras with this capability.

2 stars seems a bit harsh - it includes 1 star reviews from people who expected the WiFi to work underwater.

Amazing value for less than $40 compared to GoPro or Garmin

However crappy XDV is, it does function sometimes. It takes forever for WiFi connection between the camera and the phone to happen. Then you can’t really watch the videos from camera on your phone, you see frozen frames in the beginning, middle and end of the video. Photo pictures are ok though.
I wish the creators put some effort in it and make it fully functional.

I had a GoPro and it broke so I was looking for a replacement I found the campark action camera and I thought it would be terrible because of how cheap it was but I like it more than the GoPro because I can lose this one and I can just buy another one for 50 dollars instead of spending 200 mor on a GoPro

I some what consider myself tech savvy, but it did take me forever to get the camera and app to connect. I had to physically go to my phone Wifi settings and connect the camera and my phone. After I got that part figured out, it’s been smooth sailing. XDV is basic and performs the functions that it was designed to do outside of the connection issue. It does connect just not as easily as most of our devices do.

XDV is supposed to allow you to stream the video from the camera to your phone via the camera’s built in WIFI. After the video is taken, however, when I try to play it on my phone through XDV the video will act like it’s playing but just stays on the first image that the camera saw when I hit play. So I cannot access my video at all through XDV .. hopefully it’ll work when I try to take out the micro sd.. if not this camera is worthless. Please fix XDV.

XDV is cool how I can connect my camera to my WiFi and then see all my videos and photos. When I’m watching a video it pauses like every 5 seconds loads then starts playing the video again. It’s aggravating and sometimes I can’t even tell what the people are saying on the video. Please help if you can!!!

This camera works well for the price point and has a great picture. But unfortunately, XDV is made so poorly that it renders this camera almost instantly useless. XDV continuously force closes and freezes and I’m currently unable to even download the videos to my phone because of it. There’s little to no support for XDV and The UI is basic and slow. I’d steer clear of this and spend the extra cash on a camera with a decent app.

When you launch 🚀 XDV it will pop up something on your screen. It will say allow or don’t allow. Click don’t allow
Once you in XDV connect the Camera (Dragon touch Version 3) it should work. But you will need good 😌 WiFi. because it might be glitchy

Pros: you can control and update the camera from within XDV and have some manipulation over the camera shooting styles. Can download your footage into XDV using the WiFi setting.
Cons: WiFi is slow, be patient with it. Unable to save the footage onto your phone device once it’s downloaded. Upload feature to Fb is inop. All of the features you want once you have recorded are basically in existent. Get a go pro or some other proven hardware/software that work smoothly.

Dear Campark,

I got the xtreme 1+ or I+ UHD 4K, and when I download my photos and videos it says download Ok and I go to my photo app and made sure it was updated to whatever time it is and is not there!!!!!! Please tell me how to get these downloads to XDV ! Please fix Campark
